I was not satisfied with the set meal. The crab was overweight and there was no statement that I would have to pay extra. If I had known that I would have to pay extra, I might have chosen other food. In addition, the crab was not fresh and it was not worth it!

Recently, the restaurant has gone into a downward spiral
Food is mediocre at best or even subpar. Definitely not very fresh
And the wait staff are just going through the motions or don't really want to be there

First impression upon walking in was toilet stench. Second one is few of the requested items on the menu were not available. Third is the insane amount of oil used in the dried fried fried noodle dish, even after we requested for healthy and low-oil.

1) Deep-fried fish fillet with oil and honey, served on a large plate, the price is reasonable and the taste is very good
2) Drum juice Shengzi, the portion is small, the advantage is that it has umami taste, and Zhongyou vermicelli is at the bottom
3) Half fried chicken! The bottom one is extremely poor, completely out of breath! ! Disappointment!

Really shady place. They add an extra 12% charge (after taxes so it’s more like 15%) as “mandatory tips”. What makes it infuriating is they DON’T TELL YOU about this charge at any time during the meal, hoping you won’t notice and give them additional tips on top of that.

As for the actual food, it’s average at best. The portions are absolutely tiny. We went as a group of 4 and two of us were literally still hungry after spending $130 there. For $35 per person you can literally go to an AYCE place, or have a very good meal at any other restaurant.

There are much better places nearby. This place has really went down the drain after covid.

Bought a coupon from their pixi dinner special. Foods are tasteless. Teppanyaki foods are so blend. The sauces are not tasty neither. Portion is not big but enough to fill your stomach. Services is ok. The teppanyaki chief is not very entertaining.

Beef with pepper and fried Pok Choi both taste great, however, the recommended dish by waitress, Thai style grill slice pork, it just toooooo much fats…?
Price reasonable with good portion. Service is fine, but I don’t like fixed tips 12% on bill.

It is an old-fashioned restaurant, the taste is really good, it is a good place for family and friends to have dinner.

Many of the negative reviews here are about the 12% service charge. Although that was actually less than what I normally tip. Food quality and portions were on point.

I went to eat today and the waitress was so rude and she added extra service fee for herself with no reason. We have been a long term customer for a while and they never force us tip on the bill. The waitress was in a pony tail and she was just rude. This place takes cash but doesn’t offer any discount. Avoid dining in at all cost. Food is good but the restaurant and waitress are ridiculous.

Good price especially lunch special! Only $9.95 for a bunch of dishes and very good quality good. Very friendly service, lunch menu in Chinese but you can always ask for English menu.

I get the cold crab from here once every week or two. Super delicious and fresh! Their chicken hot pot is superb as well.

Enjoyed the many food options available. Rice combos come with a free drink which is nice. Price wise is pretty reasonable for the amount of food given.

Will go again for the food court price and restaurant quality. Some lunches come with free HK style milk tea too?

Can't go wrong with good chinese food, the service was fast and the food was definitely enjoyable, no long line ups, this will definitely be a go to spot

Good Canto Chinese food. Clean. One of the better ones in uptown. However, hidden service charge of 12% that is not mentioned, so beware. No complimentary dessert after meal. Uncourteous and not warm service.

Lunch special is great value, 椒絲腐乳通菜。加牛肉是18.00，a bit too much for there.other stuff is nice too.
Congee.dont even think of it.

Food and service was satisfactory, found out as we left that there was a service fee on the bill that we were not informed of. Many customers would leave their own tip without knowing that the restaurant already made them pay for it.

One of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in 32 years. First thing worker did was recommended expensive dishes that fed more than the number of us that showed up.

Ordered this sad looking duck with taro, where a bulk of the dish was taro, the duck was dry and old, the meat was tough. Furthermore, the flavour balance was way off. It tasted like cheap plum sauce forceful mashed in with duck and taro. The more I looked at it, the more irritated I got, to the point where I felt sick looking at it. Not sure what was worse, the taste or how it looks. It was a tangy disaster.

Lastly, was told by friends that the place is decent. I would have given them a chance has they not slapped a service fee on it without informing their customer. Best part of the experience was walking out after paying for this sorry meal. Good riddance!

The atmosphere of this restaurant makes me feel like I am in my home town, a very authentic southern-Chinese small restaurant.

The food, however, is fairly blant, nothing really spectacular. And even though we arrived at 8pm, it was still short-staffed. These two combined makes the experience really average.

I’ve been here so many times and the food is always blows me away. Considering that, the price for the seafood is also very reasonable. If you don’t mind a less fancy environment, I highly recommend this restaurant.

Food quality was good, but hygienewise was terrible! There is a lady who walks around with having gloves on and empty the garbage, taking care of dirty dishes and she brings the food with the same gloves! I told them but they didn’t seem to care and she continued the same way she was doing. Also the noise level is to the roof! Definitely not a pleasant place to have a meal!
