I had a really great experience getting a piercing here! The whole appointment went really smoothly, the piercer was really friendly, and explained things really well. I would definitely come here again!

My sister and I booked online for piercings. The online system was well organized. Went for our appointment and Tim was wonderful. Even though we aren’t inexperienced, he went through the whole process from actually getting pierced to aftercare. He allowed us to take our time with placement etc. 6 months later and the piercings are doing great. Overall friendly vibe and clean and tidy from this shop! I would recommend.

My daughter had her first ear piercings here today! Tim explained everything in detail and took the time to be sure all was perfect Thank you! Never imagined a piercing experience to be this calming.

I got a tattoo on my back and I had ask for it to be 2 inches I walked out with it being 6 inches. When I first called to book my appt.the office lady said Trenton had 10 year experiences. To find out he only had 2 years when I asked him, while he was tattooing. It was difficult to tell the size on my back. I had asked the artist and he said if it's to small the ink will be bleed. Its a good size. All the tattoo artist want to make your tattoo bigger and bigger which is not right you should get the opinion to chose the size since it's in your body for life. I don't recommend Trenton his not experience and this tattoo will cost me so much money now to be removed.

Like always this place goes above and beyond to provide excellent service! Gotten all my piercings done here and know ill get many more from here.

I brought one of my children to New Moon to get their ears pierced. Tim was absolutely amazing! He explained the entire process before beginning and during every step along the way. His 'bedside manner' would put many doctors to shame. I cannot recommend him enough. If you want your child to get a piercing, Tim is the person to do it.

Clean and sterile like a doctor's office, but with a rad atmosphere and vibe. Staff are professional while being very approachable. I had both my nipples pierced by Matty, and I felt so comfortable. It was like going to my hairstylist for a chit chat.

Matty did an amazing job and made sure I loved everything before piercing. I totally love Matty, and if I had more than two nipples I'd definitely see him again! <3

Dan is the Man. He did an amazing job with this R style motor from BMW. I had to travel to Ottawa because at least 4 Tattoo places in Montreal and Laval were not willing to take on the challenge. Any technical drawing in mind? I would strongly suggest getting it done here. Definitely coming back for more ink. During my 2 sessions totalling 8 hours, many customers coming in to book and or getting their ink or piercings done, and all of them waking out happy with their results. A lot of great work walked through the front door.

Tim pierced my daughter's ear lobes for the first time and did my double helix piercing yesterday. He is amazing and explains everything thoroughly and is fantastic with kids and keeping them calm. Highly recommended

I came here because of a friend recommendation and I’m so glad I did! I came in for a septum piercing and Tim was my piecer: they were so kind and patient and informed me of the process, and aftercare in great detail. I’ll definitely come back to this studio and would gladly recommend it to others! On top of great service and a beautiful, clean studio the prices were super fair!

I went to new moon tattoo after being referred by a friend for their wonderful customer service and quality work and i was not disappointed! I had a double nipple piercing appointment and am a very nervous person when it comes to needles. My piercer, Tim was wonderful and made my experience exceptional! He helped calm me down and explained the process in detail before getting started! I 100% recommend this business to anyone whos thinking on getting pierced! I will be back!

I got a great tattoo at a fundraiser event, everyone was super friendly, I just wish it had been more organized. Waited in line for 4 hours to get inside, and another 3 hours after I did paperwork (got there at 10: 45am, was tattooed at 6pm). I wish everyone in line had been given a specific appointment time to come back for instead of waiting for hours on end to be tattooed. Also my ID was never checked (newly 18, but I certainly don't look it with a mask on). Actual art was amazing, event just seemed rushed and unorganized. Went to a great cause though.

Edited: originally was 3 stars, but attacking customers with valid concerns makes me change the review down to one star. Would not recommend coming here!

I went to New Moon yesterday for the first time. I’m extremely happy with my tattoo and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The atmosphere was great and the staff is amazing. I will definitely be going back in the future.

Clean friendly environment. Had an incredible piercer that was both comforting and informative towards my 8 year old who was getting his lobe pierced. Would highly recommend.

Had an appointment with Tim today. I told him what I wanted and he gave me so many options. I ended up getting my second and third nose piercing. The amount of care he put into making sure the placement was accurate and balanced was amazing. I’m so happy with how cute this looks thanks to him!

Went with my 16 year old daughter to get her very first piercing and Tim was absolutely amazing he explained everything to her he made her feel comfortable and he did an amazing job. The whole place was very clean they were taking the necessary precautions also for covid-19.again very, very chill place to go I recommended for anyone who is new to piercings or tattoos they're amazing. My daughter walked away yesterday feeling like a brand new person all thanks to Tim.

My wife and I went there for matching tattoos. Dan took the original celtic design that we gave him and made it even better.very happy with the final result! We plan on going back to get more done on our other forearms soon!

Booked appointment for mother daughter tattoo. Nice new place and very clean. Pleasant staff. Mother daughter ink completed by Tim, he is a gem and a pro. We are extremely happy with the results.

Came to book an appointment with them because of COVID you had to come to the shop. I got there and did the required forms before calling them. WAITED OUTSIDE for 20 MINUTES in the cold and rain, no one came or called me for me to book an appointment. Initial Phone call seemed rushed just said they would be right out. No one came. I got there at 12: 27 Pm and the shop opened at 12pm. I left at 12: 48 because no one came or called me to come in after they told me to wait outside. I could see the employees moving around inside. November 27,2020

Tim does such great work. He's chatty and professional and knows what I want even before I do. I love New Moon! I'm already planning my next one!

First time ever for ear piercing (yup I am a coward lol), very pleasant experience, Tim made the whole process easy and relaxing, highly recommended and will definitely come back if I need anything else to be done in the future.

Absolute nightmare getting my second nose piercing. He failed to get the ring through until the third try. Had to ask him to take a break from trying cause I was in pain. Although he was apologetic. I definitely won’t be back here and will be taking a long break and/or be completely done with piercings because of this experience.

Kaiti is great and super friendly. She was really flexible with me & my friend's walk-in even though they were busy at the time. She made us feel like a priority and genuinely cared about our experience.
I've had piercers in the past treat me like I have no idea what I'm talking about but Kaiti was awesome with giving advice and guidance in a way that was helpful and informative rather than condescending.

Love New Moon! Staff is always friendly and helpful. Have had 5 piercings done here and have always had a wonderful experience. The piercer is soothing and caring and seems to take great pride in her work. They take care of you before, during, and after. The facility is very clean, with a welcoming atmosphere, and the prices are very reasonable. I plan to get many more tattoos and piercings with them, and suggest anybody looking to get either done in the ottawa area go here!

Kaiti did my double helix piercing. She was very kind and her voice was so comforting. She gave me a full explanation on how to take of my piercing and she was very professional. I would definitely recommend this place if anybody wanted to get piercing done. The customer service was great too!

Had my rook (ear) pierced here, Kaiti was the nicest and the best out of all my 7 piercings! She was super comforting and hilarious. 10/10 would go back:)

Had my eyebrow pierced there yesterday. They were excellent -realistic about the wait time, gave me full information about the procedure and care of the piercing, and were quick and relatively painless about it. They were sticklers about age requirements (no piercings for youth under 15yrs) which was a disappointment to my young teen, but something I really respected about the business.

Strictly for their piercer Katie. I've gone two different times for piercings, both times have turned sour. I had never had an infection until she pierced my nose years ago. I thought NBD she was new. I had their previous piercer do 12 different piercings on me (Bruce) loved his work and him. However I recently had her pierce my lip, and the other side of my nose. She was really rough with the clamp on my lip and caused a red rash and bruise in the shape of the clamp. The lip bar is crooked and is scratching the hell out of my teeth and gums and it's killing my mouth (I've had lip piercings before where this never happened-had that one for 7years). I used to spread the word on new moon, now I will never suggest getting pierced there. Sorry. Sweet girl, but not good at piercing.

Flip side I had Jay do my foot tattoo years ago, love him, love the replica he did of my own drawing and it's still looking great today, plus it healed well back then.

Got a nostril piercing done by Tim. He was great! He removed a nostril piercing I got done a few days prior on the opposite side that I wasn't happy with, and walked me through placement and size of jewel. Very knowledgeable and the piercing was quick and pain free. I'm glad I trusted his expertise on placement because I'm very happy with it.

I had some issues a couple of weeks later when I accidentally pulled on the stud and it caused a little bump to appear. I emailed the shop and they got back to me in a timely manner and advised me of how to take care of the situation and I am now bump free!

I highly recommend New Moon for piercings. Very friendly and welcoming staff who are knowledgeable in what they do! I will definitely be back when it's time to switch out my piercing and have them do it so I can learn how to do it myself.

I came for ear and helix piercings. Kaiti was very good, fast, professional and knowledgeable. She gave me good advice for which piercings to get and when, as well as detailed written instructions for after care. Everything was very hygienic. I will come back for my next piercing.
