New Orleans Pizza

First complaint, I ordered online the other night and was called by store and said they couldn't do my order because they were closing in 20 minutes, it doesn't take 20 minutes to make an order. So tried again tonight ordered by phone earlier and didn't get my order right and had to wait to have it remade. Very disappointing both times.

Review based in comparison to other New Orleans Pizza locations. I visited this location for lunch a few times recently. The space is clean. The staff are friendly. The preparation time was quick. The ingredient quality is average but not great. However, their dough is good. This location prepares it well. I ordered a panzerotti, apple fritter, and a slice deal. I recommend this location for consistently good pizza at a fair price.

The only reason I’m willing to give 2 stars is because when this location gets our order right, it’s delicious. The problem being it’s been right maybe 2/6 times we’ve been in the last year and a half. Having some food intolerances, it’s exciting to find a place with options you can enjoy. It also comes with some risk because it’s not like, “Oh, I don’t like peppers but I see them on the pizza, I guess I’ll just pick them off. ” It’s more like, “I’ll feel awful for days if I eat that…” They almost always put cheese when I order their dairy free cheese option. One time they gave our order to the lady ahead of us and she drove off with it. They called her and she drove back and then they just handed the boxes to us, didn’t offer to remake, or give a percentage off, coupon, free can of pop… nothing! Another time, my husband has driven all the way there to pick up our order, only to get home and see it’s all wrong. Today when he showed up he opened the boxes to check (because now we know better!) and sure enough, none of it was right. The lady at the front was nice enough but had clearly had enough of the young men in the back. Hire staff that care or at least try and pay attention to detail. It’s frustrating, costly, and potentially harmful to some customers when orders are carelessly made. First world problems? I suppose. Are there other places to buy pizza? Yes, many. It’s just disappointing when you’re looking forward to a “treat” you don’t often afford yourself (and New Orleans is definitely one of the more expensive options in town) and it turns into an unnecessary ordeal.

Awesome pizza, one of my favourites, BUT it’s the only pizza place that puts pepperoni under the cheese. It drives me nuts lol goes on top to get crispy not under. Make sure to request it on top which is odd. Should be the other way around idk.

I ordered a ham sub.pizza looked like it was a week old. Hmmmm safe ham sub.tells me it will be ready in 10 15 min. Wait what it's only a ham sub. Get it open it not cut in half bun was rock hard 3 peices of ham and week old vegies. It went out the window. I should have bought a bag of chips from the store next door. And to boot the sub was 12 bucks NEVER AGAIN I'd rather starve

The pesto pizza is so good. And those fritters are bakery-quality desserts. Wings are giant and the breading is delicious. Best pizza and wings in the area by far, better than other New Orleans locations in the area even. The employees are great too, always friendly. We seem to get the same delivery driver whenever we get delivery and he's great too.

We ordered pizza and ceasar salad. They sent pizza with the WRONG toppings and the salad was barely enough for one person. They told us they ran out of lettuce after we phoned to complain. Ok but you charged us for a large salad and that's not what we got so you knowingly just ripped us off and your pizza was not good. If you run out of lettuce then don't sell people salad, is that a difficult concept? For the price you charge I expect ALOT better than that. You just lost a customer. That's the last of my money you will get. Ever. Your manager will call me tomorrow? Sorry don't care I paid for salad tonight.

Pizza, wings, and garlic bread. All delicious and very hot when delivered. Would prefer delivery person to wear a mask when coming to my door.

This is the BEST New Orleans Pizza place anywhere! They make an amazing Chicken Caesar pizza!
