Exceptionally good food and amazing service! The food tastes so awesome that you can overlook the small size of the place. The superb service that is managed by Mike is by far the best you can get anywhere in Toronto and he does it in a really phenomenal manner that you feel at ease and enjoy the experience of authenticity of the flavours that this nice restaurant has to offer. Would strongly recommend for a fine dining experience and great place to explore seafood at its best.

First time at this restaurant and I had a wonderful dinner experience. Food was simply amazing, from appetizers to dessert. We tried the lobster and shrimp bisc, angus as entree and for dessert we had bananas foster which was divine. Service is personal with constant, but not overwhelming, care. Restaurant is cozy, with a nice ambience, i do recommend to call for a reservation. We booked at 6 pm for 8pm and the restaurant was full. Looking forward to going back.

If you're looking for a small, intimate seafood restaurant, this is the place! Holds about 25-30 people, so the staff is very attentive, even the owner made sure I had all I needed to enjoy my stay! You will drive past the place if you're not paying attention but that's what I loved the most!

Really lovely and homey place. The owner is such a nice guy. He really took care of us. The food was delicious - we got the paella. The mood was amazing. We would come here every week if I lived closer but it’s well worth the trek. I highly recommend it ‍

It's a small and intimate restaurant and they were very accommodating to everyone. The staff was really nice and friendly and they were great!

The food was incredible and I can see why it's top rated! I was able to try the lobster bisque, crab cakes, coconut beer shrimp, jambalaya, steak, and beignets. I really enjoyed all the dishes but the beer shrimp would probably be my favourite.

Would definitely come back here even though it's a bit out of the way!

I chose this restaurant to celebrate my birthday and I can’t wait to go back there. I love the old charm decor of the restaurant. It’s very warm and inviting. I LOVE the smell that fills the restaurant. It’s a smell of delicious, high quality seafood that just makes my mouth water. The food is delicious. The service is impeccable. Everyone was so friendly and personable and they took very good care of me. I received a special treat for my birthday from them and I felt so special. Perfect medium rare steak, lots of interesting spices used. The roasted asparagus were a favourite of mine. Cajun shrimp was juicy and full of flavour. I can’t wait to go back here. I’m getting hungry just writing this.

I was able to to enjoy a fabulous steak dinner with my brother and friend. The meals, all fabulous. The service also 10/10. I will be back to celebrate my birthday.

It wasn't bad but it certainly didn't live up to the stellar online ratings it has. For starters, my seafood gumbo was really quite bad. It had a good broth but just 2 shrimp and 3 small mussels. It was mostly rice and no okra, though the menu listed okra and no rice.

Service was not great. My two requests were water without ice and less rice with my fisherman's plate and both were acknowledged but then forgotten. Neither are a big deal, but I certainly can't give them points for service.

I did enjoy the fisherman's plate otherwise, and my wife's Shrimp Creole (pictured) was good, but neither were great.

That was so great food and staff. I do strongly recommend this lovely cozy place thats for sure!

Fantastic meal. Cajun boil, fried shrimp and bananas fosters were terrific and tasted authentic. Great ambiance, too. Worth the trip from Richmond Hill!

I live five minutes away and have never been to this amazing restaurant coconut shrimp, crab cakes and mussels were to die! Delicious! My friends loved sharing jambalaya but I loved my shrimp creole and of course coconut shrimp!

We have been looking for a restaurant in the GTA that serves New Orleans style of food. We found a little gem that everyone should try and you won't regret it. The restaurant is a family run business and Mike and his family are charming hosts, delightful! I won't dignify any negative comments posted here, lets just say the folks who post them haven't tried the food here. We were celebrating my birthday and we ordered many of the items on the menu. Starters included a tasty Caesar Salad, with crispy fresh romaine and freshly shaved Parmigiano Reggiano that was well balanced. The Cajun Calamari were made to perfection and very tender. The Coconut Beer Shrimp was nicely balanced and not too sweet. The Seafood Gumbo was a bit on the thin side but had good flavour. The mains were terrific, three of us had the delicious, melt in your mouth Chilean Sea Bass which was reasonably priced to boot! Our youngest likes steak and he had the blackened strip loin with green peppercorn sauce. The steak was tender and better than the steak he had at Hy's downtown earlier this year. To end the evening we had Beignet's, Bananas Foster, Pecan Pie and Crème Caramel. Mike provided complimentary after dinner aperitifs which was a surprise and a nice touch. We will be back!

Went to New Orleans for dinner. Had a fantastic time experience there. The atmosphere and ambience is cozy and romantic. Perfect to go to with friends or with your significant other. The waiter made sure we constantly had water. Mike, the owner, was especially amazing! He came by a few times to make sure we were satisfied and happy with our experience. Mike was very attentive and aware of his customers. Customer service was 10/10. Overall, great experience and we would definitely come again.

Fantastic customer service. All the staff there was welcoming and warm. The one male staffer always came by our table to make sure the food was good and we were ok. The meals are tasty and priced well. I would definitely recommend this place.

Food was delicious and service was top notch. We really appreciated the attention to detail with service like making sure we were at a nice table and splitting our appetizers. Cajun mussels and beef tenderloin were standout dishes for us. Everything was cooked to perfection and full of flavour. Highly recommend!

We have been loyal diners at the New Orleans Seafood and Steakhouse for many years. It's tucked away in a tiny grouping of storefronts on Scarlett Rd.north of St. Clair. It has also been the place where we have celebrated our various family milestones.
It is family run - Mila is behind the scene cooking up her fantastic assortment of cajun, creole, steak & other dishes. The Gumbo Ya Ya, Jambalaya and blackened fish are amongst the favourites of our family. Mike is the wonderful host in the dining room. Service is always great - no matter how busy it may be.
Give it a try - you'll become a regular. It's not a large place - reservations are suggested. Enjoy!

We Dine in at this restaurant. The food was delicious the service was great, friendly. Expect to pay for dinner $50-60 per person, there are five to seven free parking spot, when we arrived the sports were full so there is green P, nearby. Wheelchair accessible

Nicely done Cajun breaded calamari. Tender and tasty. Followed with Cajun chicken served with peppercorn sauce and tasty spicy rice. Very affordable for the quality of the meal. Nice romantic setting with friendly professional service too.

We came here for a birthday dinner with a group of 8 people and it was fantastic. The food was incredible - better than home cooking. The service is 10/10 - the staff is so attentive and the owner comes out and greets all the customers like family. We noticed there were a lot of regulars around us. We can’t wait to come back.

This is the place we go for comfort food and hospitality. Mike the owner is gracious and kind and remembers us every time we go. Every special occasion for 10 years has been celebrated here. The food is exceptional and consistent.

I was at New. Orleans with my daughter and her kids for dinner last night and the service was exceptional, food was delicious. Cozy little place.very inviting. The manager went to each table and chatted for a bit and making sure that everything was ok, our server was Fantastic, I was very impressed and would highly recommend. I will surely visit again.

Brought my family here for Father’s Day dinner and it was amazing! Staff is amazing! Very attentive, polite and make you feel welcome. The food is DELICIOUS! We were a group of four and every single plate was empty haha. Great food, wine and atmosphere. Husband and I will be going back for the jambalaya soon! I definitely recommend!

The quality and taste of every dish we ordered was superb! Kudos to the chef for making such delectable food. High quality seafood and other ingredients are evidently used in the meals. The hospitality we received from all staff was also top notch. We especially appreciated the owner's attentive yet non- imposing service. In summary, great food, great service, and no pretentiousness.
