New Spiceland Supermarket

The store has lot of Asian groceries and other items. But they are not shelved properly. It was not easy to find the price of each item and the floor associate was not either cooperative or helpful. The restaurant staff was in a rush and never wanted to help the customers. Please don't go there if you can't speak their language.

Same Spiceland like other stores.but the staff is very rude.they call customer hello.hello.and said a blunt no when I asked to replace an item just before buying at the counter.

Inventory lacks essential items. Was looking for puffed rice but couldn’t find and no one to help. Queue at counter was too long so don’t go there if you are in hurry. For that big of a shop was expecting it to be much better.

Authentic Jaffna cooking on the cheap, Roti and Goat Curry is pretty good. If you gonna try one thing try the masala tea.

Spiceland fast food sections is absolute garbage. My family bought kotu roti and roti and were sick for days. Unsafe food practice and storage with little regard to customers health. Stay away from their fast food section.

I have been shopping here regularly since it opened, The food has always been fresh, delicious and well priced, every visit has been a pleasure, the place is always clean and well organised, all the workers are kept busy with the contant fl ow of customers, every visit has been a great experience because of the friendly, prompt and courteous service and then you get to take home yummy authentic food! Appreciate all the hard work they are doing a great job and I wish them all sucess.

I am a regular visitor. Good store for south asian groceries. Guys can keep more range of fresh vegetables.

I brought a biriyani last week and it looks like it's not fresh and it was cold like hell.after that I notice that all the food in the place where being not even stored in proper heating environment compared to other SriLankan takeouts I been to

Very poor customer service. I went today to buy fish by 8pm the person who worked in the meat department was ready to give me king fish slices but the guy who worked in the grocery shop came in just turned off the open sign and shouted at the person who was ready to give me fish. He didn't even mind that I am a customer. He should know how to behave in front of a customer. So unsatisfied.

You get almost most of the south east, indian spices required for cooking.wide variety of fish. Very competitive prices

Spiceland is always tasty and cheap, making it one of the best food deals in the GTA! This place is take-out only and they accept credit cards. The ladies who work here speak little English but they are very friendly and willing to help. Just a couple of warnings to heed. Because this is a Tamil restaurant, the dishes are very tasty and spicy. The second warning is, it's so good you will be craving it every day! If you get a chance to go here don't hesitate - Go! You will definitely not regret it.

Customer service is very bad. I was waiting in the queue for bread but lady who is working for restaurant served other 5 customers behind me.

Fresh bread baked on premises and across from the store there is ice cream place very good ice cream.

It's very interesting everytime I go in. There is no sense of a business attitude for some of the staff working there. Always rude or yelling across. They need to understand that there are customers right in front of them and to have some manners at least. Otherwise food is good. I really like their breakfast deal and it's worth it.

This place is a ripoff. Check the meats carefully. I bought a packet of Billygoat (cut into pieces) paid $42.00.but When I brought it home i found a huge piece of liver in the middle (for weight). Called the store and said that that it is full billy goat. No other organs were included like brain lungs etc. Very unsanitary place.

Have all grocery items and meat for Indian/Srilankans. Place is little small, but the billing is very fast. It is also open till midnight. So if you are nearer, you can plan to visit late hours also.

Indians and Srilankans feel they are not away from home. Most groceries are available. Friendly, humble and customer friendly.

Everything one possibly needs for their kitchen. The vegetables are fresh and the place is very clean!

Their Masala tea is a must-try! I like this place, the take-out quick bites place and not the supermarket itself, for their south Asian snacks. Fresh samosas, wadas, dosas, etc. The staff can be abrupt, but that should not be a problem.

Parking lot is a disaster because of the amount of people. The bakery store has no idea how to get people to lineup properly. And while waiting to buy groceries I saw Tamil aunties and uncles cutting in the line like they owned the place. I understand Tamil people can be pretty disobedient but the owners and workers should control things like this. If time matters to you just go to Eraa.

Sri Lankan items specially south Asian items are available. From baby jackfruit to Omo water and gripe mixture

I absolutely love Sri Lankan food, and these guys may be the best. Friendly, inexpensive, great lunches. Another location in north Ajax is also great.

I donot go there now it was good before now the smell of the bad oil I can not handle rolls patties methivedi taste are bad and oil are badddd

Spiceland is the most incrediblr and authentic sri lankan food out there.
You cant just drive by! They have amazing rolls from mutton to veggie to chicken. Incredible rotis that are only 1.99$! Stuffed woth mutton or veggies its sure to fill you up. The spice levels are from mild to wild and the flavours are just incredibley savoury. Even if you've never tried this kind of cuisine I can guarantee for what you spend youll be full and satisfied. My reccomendations are the samosas, mutton Patty's and the mutton/veggie rotis. They also have a wide selection of rices and noodles and various curried meats. Spiceland is amazing check it out!

Sri Lankan Tamil foods served here. Pittu, string hopper, rice & cury, kothu roti, biryani, variety of snacks like rolls, vadai, murukku. Take out place; carry away & enjoy. Price is reasonable compared to other like places. Service can be hectic during rush hours.

Review Edited June 21/19 - Customer satisfaction is apparently not important to this place anymore. I am very disappointed with service staffs not willing to give a fork to eat noodles, treating us rudely for saying boiled chicken leg & gravy on the side is not a biryani combo. I will not be going back to this place! Even their short eats aren't worth it anymore. So thanks, but no thanks!

Food quality was better than expected. Spicy goat curry, dhall and rice. Well cooked and right level of spice. Reasonably good service. Will try other items soon.

Neat grocery store for South Indian/Tamil food (vegetables, spices, meat, cooking utensils). You'll have to know what you're looking for as most things are labelled in Tamil. Parking gets tricky in this plaza as it is quite busy.

I come here to get the dried anchovies or sprats. They keep them in the back by the fish area. Good selection of Sri Lankan groceries.

Good for South Asian food products. They do have some good fish varieties. Bit expensive compared to some other places.

To make our Srilankan dishes. I have to come here to get the ingredients. Prices are reasonable. Just like to shop here too

Very very bad in service.too many people inside and no one know what order they took. I ordered an item and waited for long time, even the people came after me got items what they ordered. After loooong waiting time I asked them where is my item, Funny the same lady who took my order is asking me who took your order. You people should have a system to manage the orders in right priority. Really bad service.

Masala tea is quite good but overly sweet. Snacks like mutton rolls and mutton roti are good with the curry having a decent spicy kick.
