New to You

I absolutely love shopping at “New to You”. My daughter bought three new outfits and I bought a golf cart at my last visit! Great quality purchases. Feels good to re-use items and keep our world greener and support our hospital!

I have been going to new to you since I moved into Fergus 38 years ago It helped the money stretch when my family was young and now still helps when my grandchild’s are growing lol. The best is it helps the Fergus hospital

Shopping at New to You is always an enjoyable experience. The store is always clean and well organized. The volunteers are friendly and the price points are always reasonable.

I started volunteering at the New to You store about 8 years ago, first in pre-sort where everything comes in and now I sort and stack the shelves doing the DVDS, CDS, Records and VHS tapes. I always look forward to Mondays not only is is a very friendly environment but it gives me a sense of accomplishment knowing that the customers will come in and get good value for money with the goods out in the shop. Thank you all at the New to You store.

I find it very rewarding volunteering at the NTY. It is a great way of giving back to the community and especially helping Groves Hospital. I enjoy the camaraderie with my friends which makes the work more pleasant. Management is there to encourage and praise our efforts.

Love the group that I work with on mon.afternoons. Time flies when you are having fun and when you are helping your community.

I work sorting fabric and linens on Tuesday and Saturday mornings.
I enjoy doing this as I believe our department is well received by the customers. We also make a fair amount of money. I am very passionate about how our department looks.
I also like the social aspect of being with other volunteers.

I have volunteered at New to You for over a year now, first doing the camera's and recently moving on to the art department. I have enjoyed my Volunteer experience, the management are great, very supportive and accommodating. The crew I work with are friendly, helpful and make it a joy to come to 'work'. We do our best to sort, clean, test, price and display the merchandise to earn funds to support Groves Hospital while providing our clients with quality goods at reasonable prices. I look forward to my time volunteering at New To You.

One of the best thrift stores in the area. Definitely worth the drive to Fergus. The staff are very friendly and the products are top quality. I especially love the weekly tag sales. Proceeds go to the hospital. Win-win! Highly recommend.

I work in the electrical department at New To You and enjoy it very much. The store is a great place to work and shop. The other volunteers are enjoyable to work with. I would highly recommend you come and join us.

New to You, THE OPP SHOP, has been apart of my life, all my life. Even before thrifting was cool. It is beautifully organized and has amazing volunteers and staff.
