I want to Thank doctor Rim Alkurdi from the bottom of my heart. She is a pure soul who understands emotions of every patient and listens to us and gives the best treatment. She is an expert in her area. Thank you dr.
I also want to thank everyone in Scarborough location starting from the receptionist to lab technician and the ultrasound technician and nurse Devika.

I cannot say how much of a blessing Dr. Alkurdi and the wonderful staff at Newlife Fertility have been to my husband and I over the past few years. Dr. Alkurdi has taken the utmost care and compassion with my treatment. Words will never be enough to thank her for all she has done to help us bring our precious son into this world.

Thank you for what you gave me in my first pregnancy and I want you to always stay on top.

We can’t thank enough to Dr. Daya Salim and the staff of New life Mississauga and Brampton location for helping us start our family. It was a tough ride but he made sure it became smooth with his vision and guidance to help me get and stay pregnant. Looking forward to grow our family with his help. Here’s the picture of our little miracle born on Oct 21,2022.

Very happy with the service we got from New Life, despite them being very busy, they always return calls despite us calling multiple times a week.

Been going through a miscarriage and cannot get a hold of anyone at the clinic. Waited 1/2 hr for Dr. Alkurdi to only speak for less than 5 min when her internet logged out abruptly. Didn't address any issues or concerns. Waited in the meeting and called the facility, left messages and no answer or call back. No follow-up as this miscarriage happened a few days ago, no recommended ultrasound and bloodwork confirmation while still experiencing pregnancy symptoms and no menstruation. Absolutely no support! If there were better facilities nearby I would rather go to them. Something immorally wrong with their services in this situation. Please for those that have gone to better facilities, please provide me recommendations. This situation is pretty bad.

It took 3 days for the clinic to finally call back after leaving 5 messages on 3 separate days. By that time I had already gone to my family doctor to get a requisition to go somewhere else for bloodwork and ultrasound. The lack of support from this fertility clinic in handling this situation is just appalling.

We've been Dr. Alkurdi since October 2018 and have had a great experience with her. She has been very attentive, supportive and helpful throughout our fertility process. We were unsuccessful with a naturally timed intercourse and one round of IUI. With our first privately funded round of IVF and first transfer, we were fortunate to get pregnant with our baby girl in March of 2019. Unfortunately she had congenital abnormalities and passed away at 26 weeks. We were eligible for our government funded IVF in April 2020 and decided to wait until I had gotten my healthy enough for our next round of IVF, which we completed in July 2020. Very thankfully, we got pregnant with our first transfer and I am currently pregnant with my healthy baby boy at 23 weeks.

Our dreams of having a family would not have been possible without the help of Dr. Alkurdi and the staff at Newlife, including Judy (the ultrasound tech), Christine (in phlebotomy), Enge (the receptionist in the lab), and the embryologists. They have showed us such kindness and patience during this very difficult journey.

There are some drawbacks to this clinic, however. Including how busy the clinic can get, to the point where it's difficult to get a nurse or receptionist to answer or return your calls. Once you get a hold of someone, everything is great - but it's the occasional challenge of speaking with someone when you really need to, that I believe the clinic could improve upon.

Otherwise, I believe that Newlife is very capable of helping couple's achieve their dreams of having a family. And my husband and I are living proof. Thank you Newlife for our babies.

UPDATE (July 2023) : We returned back to Newlife in December 2022 in preparation for another FET. After completing all of our tests, we had another FET in February of 2023 with the help of Dr. Alkurdi and her team. She is an amazing RE, thoughtful and kind. Very smart and pays attention to detail. We are very happy to have had her again. I am currently 25 weeks pregnant with our 3rd baby and am so very thankful and grateful to Newlife Mississauga, Dr. Alkurdi, the phlebotomy team, the Embryologists, the ultrasound techs, the nurses and receptionists. Thank you for helping us to get where we are today.

They play around with patients and very secretive. They don’t own up and I have started to understand all these fertility clinics are bogus and mere a place of minting money. They give two hoots to what a patient is going through especially Dr. Harold. They wasted 2-3 years of my fertile life by not diagnosing what is the issue with me well the other clinic did but it was too late for me. I regret I wasted my time here and the time was running out. Hoping this industry is regulated and be more transparent. Also I know what response I’m going to get, hey you’re not listed in our records, we don’t see you as a patient. So answer to that, this is a sensitive matter and I don’t want to outrightly disclose my identity so deal with it. But I really wanted to spread awareness. They are not responsible for timelines although they know they are dealing with women whose age plays a vital role. If in a year you’re not able to deliver take the responsibility, research and tell the patient about next steps but sadly they don’t do their jobs well enough to keep the patient informed.

Not very friendly or helpful staff, not clear signage where to go, and not accessible for people with disabilities. This is a stressful time for couples we don’t need to be treated poorly.

If you are trying to conceive please please please hear my warning as I did not listen to many other women who warned me about this clinic group.

This is a very large scale clinic where often you're lost in a sea of other patients.

At my time in the clinic I experienced many discrepancies. At one point I went through a medical emergency and I had emailed my doctor and his receptionist post surgery about the complications I was going through only to find out days later that my email along with many other clients' emails were going to a spam box.

With every cycle I had with the clinic I found I had to chase down my nurse for my medication regimen sometimes not even hearing from them for days which caused wasted cycles that I had paid for. I frequently found my nurses and doctors did not know the medical protocol and medications that they had set up for me after each failed cycle. I also learned through the nurses and the main doctor Samuel Solomon that basic hormone paneling is not done at this clinic for people who suffer from PCOS or endometriosis and instead a guessing game is played with medications. If you question or second guess any of this Dr Solomon will threaten to drop you as a patient and tell you it will be impossible for you to conceive at another clinic.

On June 9th at the Scarborough location I went for my fifth round of cycle monitoring. I was sent to the second ultrasound room for follicle measurement. When I went inside the room where there were dirty gloves on the floor along with used ultrasound wand covers and empty gel packets. The ultrasound tech was extremely rough on me. At one point I spoke up that she was hurting me. I was told to lay still and to be quiet even though I wasn't moving and I did not speak until I was being hurt. After my exam I was in a lot of pain where it hurt to sit and stand even the day after the exam. I as well found blood in my underwear when I came home after my appointment. I explained to my nurse what had happened and how the assault had left me physically shaken. She brushed it off and refused to acknowledge that it happened. I later emailed Pavan the director of the clinic about what had happened to only have my email about the assault ignored. This was my final straw with the clinic.

Please don't be like myself and my partner along with many other patients who have been physically, emotionally, and financially abused by this clinic. Seek treatment anywhere else but here as you will suffer the same fate as many other people in this long list of reviews.

Went there for sonogram. Ultrasound tech was rude and when i questioned about what was going to happen as no one had explain what was being done she snapped back "well that's what I'm doing now" during the procedure (which is painful and uncomfortable) I again got snapped at for twitching my toes to distract myself.

If I could give this place a zero I would. They treat their staff terribly. Overworked and underpaid. Constantly bullied by other nurses and managers. When you ask for more training they don’t provide it. Instead they extend your probation or let you go. Run far from this place.

We are forever grateful for the compassion, support and belief in our fertility journey from Dr. Henning and the Newlife Team.
Our son is now 8 months old today, and he is truly the love of our lives.

We had a 8 years of infertility journey. After spending too many years and lots of money, someone finally refer us to Doctor Solimon. He is such an amazing, reliable, professional, knowledgeable and experienced doctor. He don’t have that much time to answer every question but trust him he will fully understand your file before any procedure and he will do the best to his knowledge.

My experience with this clinic is not bad at all. They always answer my all calls and emails. I highly recommend this clinic to those who are suffering like us. You will finally achieve your goal must go and see doctor Solimon you will not regret ever.

Thank you Dr. K and all the staff of NewLife for being so supportive and for all the quick responses whenever I needed it. It is the best experience I ever had with a clinic. I can’t wait to meet my baby in October.

We came here after many frustrations with a different clinic.
Positives: We didn’t have to wait long for a consultation. 2.5 weeks and we started the process while doing the investigation instead of waiting to complete investigation before trying like the other clinic. We started the process in Dec 2021 and found out we were expecting by April 2022 and had our baby in Dec 2022. We tried in Dec and Jan, surgery in Feb and then pregnant first cycle after surgery in April thanks to Dr. Lee.
Dr. Lee was always so sweet, positive and reassuring. I’m happy he was our doctor.

Negatives: NewLife can work on their communication because I had to schedule a surgery and because no one knew what was happening (admin staff) I had to wait an extra month and that was with me consistently calling with updates no one could provide. More techs should be scheduled as well for blood and ultrasound bc early morning appointments were always booked for the Burlington location and even the Oakville one, especially if someone called in sick, you had to go to a different location. However, I was lucky that I wasn’t at the clinic for long and it was during Covid wfh so it worked out for me.

As a surrogate I was treated with the most respect. It only took 2 sessions to get the embaby we were hoping for!

If you’re planning on seeking treatment here ONLY request to see Dr. Soliman. Doctor with few words but very intelligent and well grounded - heads up he has no time for a shoulder to cry on.

Dr. Salim Daya is the best doctor. He takes care of every little thing. Best experience. Thank you Dr Daya for your services. And the nurse Nila Ahmad, she is very professional, she has replied to all my emails/ concerns on time. I really appreciate her help as well. Thank you guys for all your help and support.
