Very good beer, with some season ones like pumpkin ale that were very taste. A little bit pricey, but a good value for money during happy hour. They were severely understaffed with only one server for the entire place.
After the distillery next door had no service, I went across the courtyard to here. Met immediately with a smile and friendly service. Grab some beer just outside our hotel for a reasonable price considering the convenience, location, and quality!
Not sure about the bad reviews here. We didn't eat but enjoyed several of their beers. The service was good and the live music made the atmosphere. The prices were reasonable for a tourist trap. I'd go again.
A culinary triumph at the Niagara Brewing restaurant! From the moment we walked in, the vibrant atmosphere and enticing aromas set the stage for an exceptional dining experience. The Niagara Brewing restaurant's menu offered a delicious fusion of flavors and the highlight was, without a doubt, the excellent ice wine. Each sip was a symphony of sweetness that perfectly complemented our meal. The helpful staff provided excellent recommendations, enhancing our overall enjoyment. This restaurant is a gem in the heart of Ontario, where exceptional cuisine and excellent ice wine combine perfectly.

Everything online says they open at 11, we were waiting around to go and finally someone shows up saying they don’t actually open till 12. Beware if you are visiting because Canada runs on their own time and everything is an “ish” and doesn’t open when they say they will!
We had a nice meal here while visiting Niagara Falls. The beers were all delicious and all the food was tasty. We ordered the charcuterie board which was great and the chips and guacamole which were just ok. Only downside was that it is a little pricey but it's a tourist area so that's to be expected.
Stopped into Niagara Brewing Company on a Saturday night with some friends. We grabbed a flight of beers to sample the local hops. We found a couple we liked and ordered them. Staff was really friendly. The entertainment they had was a girl on a guitar singing some great songs. She was really good. We will be stopping in here again.soon.
Environment was nice and we like the peach or Irish beer. All the beer are in house and test very refreshing. We went on Saturday and they had live music which added nice touch Wings are were thick and juicy. Plenty of chips for guac. Reasonable price.
Have visited many, many breweries and wineries throughout Canada. Visited this location and was left standing at door waiting to be seated (as requested) for a lengthy time. We were finally told to go ahead and find a seat at outdoor patio. Once seated we waited at least 15 minutes before anyone approached table regardless of fact it was not busy. Several employees walked past our table during this time. We were getting ready to leave. A simple acknowledgement we were there would have been nice!
I organized an evening dinner here as part of a much larger work gathering, and let’s just say that despite being a non-drinker, this place was excellent. It wasn’t just me who felt that way but the ~40 others who joined along.
Beer are great like it was pre pandemic. Server didn't feel like she wants to work there, which made us leave for another place after just one drink. Hope it gets better next time.
Drinks: We got the beer flights which was amazing. Got 4 5oz different beers and as a person who’s not a fan of beers, I loved them. Ask the server to get the flights of the most popular beers. Food: We got the nachos that were great portion size and tasted amazing too. No complaints. Vibe: There was live music even on a Thursday night which made it great to be at. Value: Cheap beers and great priced food!
The atmosphere is pretty nice and I've always good experience with servers. The beer is self isn't anything noteworthy in my opinion, expect for the peach beer.that one is really good.
Delicious and lively place to eat while visiting Niagara Falls and Clifton Hills.great location, great staff and great quality food! plus live acoustic music!
Popped by today before dinner for a drink and a appetizer.our server Joe was amazing! The beer, Radler and pretzels we had were awesome! Def worth a pop by if you are on Clifton Hill
Very solid place. Had the Peach Radler and the Cranberry Wheat and both were excellent. Also the pretzels, which were great! Good service. Couldn't ask for more
Beer was alright, nothing special. Service at front was horrendous. Was told we could be seated on the upstairs patio, but went all the way up to be denied by another waitress? Went back to the main floor and told the front. Front staff was confused to why we were sent back down, so they just set us up outside instead. Overall service was spotty and the team doesn't seem to work well together: D
Cheap happy hour beer, mediocre food, and terrible/rude service. Our waiter actively argued with us about a poor tip when he was only present for taking payment (it was not busy). We had to waive down multiple other employees to order drinks and food. When inquiring about an additional charge on our bill he responded with “it’s on the menu, you’re paying it regardless”. He then proceeded to fail to find where the charge was mentioned on the menu. I will never be returning to this establishment.
One of my favorite craft breweries in Ontario. Excellent beer, excellent service. No problems taking a break from the summer sun here. Get a flight of beer and a delicious soft pretzel and thank me later!
After a long time of isolation it was delightful to sit on a patio, drink a well made beer and listen to a wonderful voice. Thank you Niagara Brewing Company and Amanda Parker for filling my families afternoon with joy.
Took an hour for them to come back with the free samples we had, however it was worth it at the end.we sat outside right in front of the rainforest cafe.
It is unbelievable, with so many high quality breweries in Ontario, that this place exists, making the product it does. The lager tastes like stale butt cake, and the peach radler is undrinkable. If you are used to drinking anything other than Kokanee, don’t visit this place. Total shame that a better option doesn’t exist at a prime location.
This place has an awesome location, drinks, food and live music. We stopped to sample some beer as we had a coupon for tasting. Husband loved the lager and ordered more of those. I ordered a white sangria and it was delicious. We ordered an apetizer and got the cheese pretzel which was ok. Then decided to order another apetizer and got the nachos with guac. Those were really good. The guac was freshly made to perfection and the salsa as well. We spent way longer than planned in this place. The server seemed to be rushed at first and not very friendly but then a quick change and was making recommendations and chatting a bit too. The place gets really busy so no wonder they are rushing. I recommend this place 20/10
Love the beer here. My fav is Irish red ale, whenever I come to Niagara I always try the beers. There roof top patio has one of the best view of the Clifton hills
Unhappy with the service from the waiters who forgot about our table for 20 minutes while we waited for service. As we asked for the waiter from another girl she gave us a condescending answer and would not assist. We left.
Worst experience ever! We sat outdoor on the patio as per covid-19 restrictions. Ordered our food and drinks. My daughter's milkshake was the only highlight of the evening. The table beside us were cursing and using derogatory comments throughout their whole stay. We did inform the server about this but she did not do anything about it she did not even go to the table to talk to their patrons. After we received our drinks and our food we began to eat and I was instantly disgusted as to how the salad was presented to me. Instead of informing their customers that they're using frozen or unripe avocados; they decided to add it to the salad which completely turned me off of the whole salad. There was nothing ripe or edible about it. It seems that there were complaints from other customers about the unripe or thawed out avocado. They decided not to inform their customers before ordering of what they would be getting. I complained to the server who gave me a new salad without any avocado but the damage was already done. I ate the salad as of pure hunger. I feel that they just removed the avocado and gave me the same salad. My husband's food was bland and hard to eat. He gave up shortly after and left it on the table.
Manager was great. We were 8 and knew we were split up due to covid but the Manager managed to get us two tables next to each other. Food was good, service was great. Great beer selections. Been here twice. Enjoyed it each time. Would come again.
Unbeatable experience! The live performance made the atmosphere blissful, everyone on the patio was feeling that for real! Come here with the fam or friends, you won't regret it!
The food is good but you’re going for the beer and it doesn’t disappoint. My favorites were the Marzen and the Irish Red both we’re full bodied and flavorful. The chocolate porter had a strong coffee flavor, I would say it would be perfect for breakfast. The peach was sweet and fruity, my wife enjoyed it. If you don’t like fancy and just want a simple beer go with the Lager. You be disappointed. I didn’t try any IPAs since I don’t care for IPAs on general but judging by the offerings I did sample I would imagine they would be just as good. If you’re in the area I would recommend giving them a try.
Location is convenient and the beers and their selections aren't too bad. The food is reletivly expensive, staff are very nice and courteous. My major criticism about this place is the menu, 9 options to choose from. For restaurant of this design I expected more, the only veggie option is chips and guacamole + tomato dip. All the other options are mediocre, the only good choice is probably the chicken burger. Personally, I expected more from a place like this.
Great beer selection. Ordered a set of flights with 8 different flavours, did not dissapoint. Quick service. We would've stayed here longer but unfortunately last call was at 9pm
I'm really curious where all this "good beer" is that people are talking about. The service I had was absolutely horrid and I was only able to order 2 beers in an hour because no one came up to our table. I was on the second floor and it was not really busy. The only reason I got a second drink was because I walked up to the bar and asked. I watched as the wait staff stood behind the bar talking to bartenders and joking around. The beer was disgusting. Both times I had residue of lipstick on my glass and the beer was completely flat with no head. Beer tasted old and stale. I went downstairs to buy a couple of their canned beers and it was 10x better. At least there was carbonation and I could wait on myself to get another if I wanted it.
Had a free tasting pass through my hotel, went to use it this pass Thursday around 10pm. Atmosphere was great with a live singer but the waitress was rude. She did not smile once. She had an attitude that was uncalled for. She seemed like she did not want to serve us. She ruined the whole experience. Unfriendly, unkind and miserable. You should have people working for your company that want to serve people and represent your brewing company, not her. A group walked in while I was there and the 2 female waitress started saying why are they here? Rolling their eyes. Not good!
Homebrewed beer is really good for the ones i tried. Staff were great, polite and friendly. We loved the terrasse on the "roof". Gave us a great view at night overlooking all the lights on Clifton Hill. What i didnt like about that place is the food menu. Not a lot of choices, no burgers, no nachos, not much stuff that goes with beer for my taste.
Came here to sit at the top of the outdoor patio and enjoy the view. Ended up enjoying a tasting flight and a pint of their stout as well.
3 stars because of the service, which is lacklustre throughout Niagara, making it difficult to expect anything close to a Toronto dining/drinking experience.
I noticed the manager tasting food that was making its way to the pass window that’s located out in the open behind the hostess podium. This could be for quality control but it’s off putting and not discrete.
Secondly our server was no where to be found after she gave us our beer. I had to ask another server about one of their beers and he was kind enough to bring my girlfriend and I a sample of the beer in question.
If you go, the top patio is a must but the beer is a bit of a bust.
Beer fantastic, service great and the place very clean. I would have given 5 stars only they should have had nachos on the menu instead of a cheese board, when guys want to try beer they need nachos. Other than that great
Beers are good and their artisan chessboard is amazing. However, the service needs a lot of improvement. Been here a few times and always had hard time getting server's attention. Only time they'll smile and talk is when they'll get your bill. Some servers are okay but others are horrible.
Good beer, horrible location. I recognize that it’s “prime” location probably helps the Get foot traffic, but being in the middle of the horrible tourist strip is miserable.
That being said, it gets a 4 star rating for its really great beers. Try a flight, and their Amber was really great
Great spot right on Clifton Hill! The Ice cold beer was exactly what I needed after working up a thirst while walking the strip. Reasonably priced pints for the quality and the atmosphere was great! I would highly recommend to those looking for a quick bite and a pint!
I went here with my bf on a date, and I must admit this place is great. It's a bit cramped for space, but the service, beer, and staff are all kind and amazingly quick at bringing out orders.
We ordered a meat and a cheese platter, and they certainly pile it on there haha. They had 4-5 different types of meat, with crunchy toast, spicey pickled cabbage, and different mix of pickled vegetables, along with some crackers and decorative things. The cheese platter has 4-5 different types of cheese, crackers, a nice crunchy bread, dried cranberries, gooseberries (they are sour) a home made sauce to put onto your crackers before adding the cheese, and a nice variety of items overall.
I would recommend doing the sampler of beer, you get 4 or 6 smaller glasses, with different types of beer and it's lovely to try! It gives you different flavours to enjoy with your cheese / meat platters too, which amplifies the tastes and flavours. Even if it was super busy, and the place is cramped for seating / space, it's still a lovely spot to check out.i will be retuning!
Obviously, the area this brewery is located in is a major disadvantage - crowded, touristy, chitzy. Beer is good but not great, but I have pretty high standards for craft beer. However, the very personal customer service I experienced here was enough to make me want to come back again! I was brought samples of each of the beers I was considering buying cans of. Pleasant conversation with the employee as well. Worthwhile.
