Great location and view right opposite the Horseshoe Falls. Room was spacious, bed comfy but pillows hard. Pass was provided for the WeGo bus that covers 4 routes around town and the stop is directly outside the hotel. Good choice of hotel.

The location is what is esteem. A true Niagara falls experience. The only hotel I’ve booked for every trip. With my finance, family and friends. It is worth every penny.

Don't be fooled by the promise of a double jacuzzi in the room. We were looking forward to it, but when we turned on the tap, just a trickle of tepid water dribbled out. It took 15 minutes just to reach the nozzles - and by that time what little heat there had been in the water out of the tap had gone. The shower was the opposite - either scalding hot or cold water, it seemed impossible to get it to set to a nice temperature. Other aspects were fine - a good bed (although the sheet was to small and the duvet put on sideways), good pillows, a good Falls view, good room service breakfast. But for the price, you expect decent plumbing.

The best are the views of the falls, good service, the rooms are not bad. But without a doubt the hotel in general needs more than just a coat of paint, they need to rejuvenate it.

The worst Marriott I have stayed!
On first day checked in, the shower gel was completely empty, apparently the room was not serviced thoroughly after last stay. I was lucky that I always take my own hygiene stuff when travel.
For my three days stay, I never put “do not clean” sign out, but trash was NEVER collected, bottle water NEVER got replenished, towels NEVER replaced.
The terrible insect issue happened on the second night, when we had time to sit in front of window to enjoy the falls view. With the lights on, the insects were crazily rush through the window seal. That situation was slightly relieved after I turned all lights off and closed the curtain.
I requested insect repellent service next morning to front desk, guess what I found when we went back to room the third night? The genius room service turned all lights on with curtains widely open! Soooo many insects were attracted by the lights and got into the room.
The hotel manager tried excuse this as a SEASONAL issue. However, I never experienced this with any other Marriott, and all other brands in any summer time (IHG, Hilton, Sheraton…)

Other cons include very Unstable WiFi, over priced breakfast.

The only good part is the location of this hotel, very close to incline railway which can short cut to the table of rock and power plant.
Do not expect the falls view for all rooms, you’ll NOT have a satisfying view from 10th floor below!

Amazing views of the falls. Location works very well, with easy access to most attractions and entertainment. The people were very nice. The rooms are a little worn, dated. Beds comfortable.

Nice hotel! The front desk check in was smooth and the staff was very friendly and helpful. She even sent us a surprise slice of birthday cake! The bellman obtained a luggage cart for me although none were sitting out unused. Much appreciated. Our room was great - very clean, modern and the bed was very comfortable. Hats off to housekeeping - friendly and thorough, good job. Our view of the Falls was outstanding.

Came here for my 15th anniversary. Told them so and asked for something to make it extra welcoming. Nothing was done. Not even a note.

Not in the greatest state of repair or cleanliness in the room and the windows in the halls are covered in greasy marks which stayed for the entire duration of our stay. No smart TV and limited channels. Parking is ridiculously over priced. Thermostat doesn't even have temperatures on it and isn't digital. Shower leaks out the door. Outdated decor throughout the hotel. Timer on the wall seemed to do nothing. To get in the shower you have to squeeze into the corner by the door to the washroom. Would be much better if it opened the other way.

At one point called the front desk and never got hold of anyone. Luckily the chat in the app was there. Probably busy as there was constantly huge lines in the lobby with 0-2 employees dealing with it at the most (yes once I had to wait around for an employee to show up at the desk).

I wanted one of the rooms with the best views of the Falls. Paid extra for "premium". Not sure what that was but it did not put the room on one of the floors they say is best.

Overall I'd come back but I'd be thinking twice and looking at the alternatives first. This hotel does probably have one of, if not the best, views of the Falls.

Very disappointed, so many things that’s wrong with this hotel, i don’t think I’ll ever be back or recommend this place to anyone, the room temperature was very cold, I called the reception two time, they said they’ll send someone to fix it, they never did, I went to the reception and they said they’ll send someone to fix it, but nobody came to fix it, I had to ask for towels and other stuff everyday, because no one would bring it, had to clean the room myself because again, NO ONE WOULD COME,

This place is very nice. The Jr suite view was terrific. Service is great. Valet is reasonable, $50 CAD, considering all other overnight parking is $30CAD.

Didn't eat there, but there's a Mortons looking over the falls.

Location is terrific!

Truly not one to complain or leave bad reviews. Unfortunately, older, tall valet car worker was extremely rude, borderline aggressive with communication and overall hostile while pulling up to hotel. Beware of this grump. Otherwise, nice hotel. Oct 30/21

Hotel staff let a (known to be false) fire alarm run for over an hour. I understand fire alarms are unexpected but if the staff is not trained to deal with them properly then this hotel should not be open to guests.

Checked in at night, very friendly staff. No lines and was very helpful getting 2 connected rooms. Also answer our questions regarding pick up of the not so random self covid testing kit.

View is stunning of course. Check out at 12pm. $35 off site parking and $50 for valet parking. No too bad for a tourist area.

Eating off site, as there are tons of better options than eating at the hotel.

Great location and views from each room. Highly recommend a falls view room and a higher floor. There is also a Starbucks in the lobby which is convenient.

Arrived yesterday and the floors were dirty, night stands weren’t wiped down, chair had ketchup on it. Bathroom appeared to be clean but shower head was mouldy. Lights flickered and The TV was fuzzy. Today we thought we would give them another chance, left early in the morning came back at 3: 30 and our room was not cleaned or replenished. Spoke to the attendant and were told we don’t have cleaning service but he could grab what we needed. So for a two night stay we only get one coffee, one towel, one roll toilet paper and one set of towels for over 1000+ $! Super disappointed with the Marriott by Fallsview.

The hotel is very outdated, and our room was very dirty. Guest service is also subpar. The view from the falls view room is nice but not a 4 start hotel.

First off, the view was amazing; but not nearly worth the negatives.
1) No hot water. At best the water was a little warmer than tepid, never hot.
2) No climate control. The thermostat doesn't affect the room temperature and the room was stuffy.
3) No parking. You can pay $35/day to park two streets over - there is minimal unloading space. For $50/day the valets will drive your car there.
4) Dismissive front desk staff and executive staff. The cleaning staff and room service staff were great, but the front facing staff had little time to waste on guests. The executive staff is also dismissive - gas-lighting complaints by implying hot water is an exceptional standard or expectation.

Take your photos from one of the numerous observation decks and stay somewhere that values guests. There are 4 other hotels in the direct vicinity that I'd try first.

We booked a room 2 months ago, and the day of when the credit card we had on account was declined they sent an email instead of calling saying they were going to cancel our room. We had no idea until we got there and were very disappointed. You can't assume that everyone is going to be able to check their email while traveling. They couldn't even offer us another room. Then when we used the card st the Hilton, everything was fine.

Valet ran a curb with my car and damaged the underplating and never said anything. Let us drive back to Hamilton like that with my kids in the car as the tire was chewing at it even more. Tried to get ahold of someone. But no responses from the hotel or the valet manager Lee. I would not recommend staying here or using valet!

My husband and I stayed here 20+ years ago for our honeymoon, then came every year for a few years. I had high expectations because we absolutely loved it back then. We brought our kids for a weekend away and enjoy Niagara. I was definitely disappointed this time. The walls in the hotel were stained. Bathtub was full of water from it dripping. And no mini fridge in the room. It was fine at best but definitely disappointing from when we stayed years ago.

Very busy but well kept hotel. Front desk service was prompt and rooms were very clean. Loved the beds and the sleep I got in them. View of the falls was also amazing.

Very close distance to lots of dining options aswell.

First time stayed in this hotel two weeks ago for 2 nights. While the panoramas view of Niagara Falls was absolutely gorgeous and breathtaking, the room itself was not as well maintained as it should be (e.g. Nonfunctional electrical outlets, broken lamps, worn out furniture, etc.). Comparing to other Marriotts I have stayed in U. S, U. K.or AsiaPac, this one definitely is outdated comparing to others. The management and operator need to pay a bit more attention to detail and to put some efforts on the upkeep of the facility. That said, the courteous and very helpful staffs definitely earned a high mark for their friendly services and interaction with customers.
Bottomline: this is a hotel situated at a prime location with a good view of the Niagara Falls; it's close to the park and many dining and entertainment options are all within walking distance.
Note: There is no on-site parking garage at this hotel. However, a designated Marriott unpaved parking lot is about two blocks away from the hotel and cost 40 Canadian Dollar a day (same price for either concierge parking or self-parking).

NOT impressed with this hotel at all. I paid extra for a nicer room and while the view is very nice, the actual room is dirty and dated. The jacuzzi had pools of dirty water and pubic hairs everywhere. The grout was filthy in and out of the bathroom. There was definitely a smell of mildew everywhere. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The only redeemable quality is the location and view.

EDIT: I ended up requesting a new room when i turned down my bed to find stained sheets full of grass. (?) The room they moved me to had been updated with new floor, shower, fixtures, and tv, and it was actually clean! It was a huge difference from the first room they put me in. I’m leaving my rating at 2 stars, though, because the fact of the matter is that they are clearly putting people in disgusting rooms even though they have clean ones available.

WORST MARRIOTT IVE EVER BEEN TO!
in terms of ne if it’s like water bottles or bathrobes and slippers they refuse to give them to us, despite we are vacation club and reward members. The rooms are basic and nothing special, the only good thing about this hotel isn’t the hotel but the view it’s self (which is amazing), and the location of the hotel is probably the best out of every hotel. Otherwise ordinary facilities not bad, expected if I’m honest but again nothing special.
Staff are ok, rude sometimes and not comforting or allowing for anything not part of their job.
In terms of a hotel it would be a 5 star for sure, but in terms of a Marriott it’s worse then 1!

Stayed two nights for part of our honeymoon. Reserved a high floor fallsview king room. When checking in at 8pm (check in time 3pm), we were offered an 'upgrade' to a suite. This upgrade was located on the 8th floor so we rejected as we had paid extra for a high floor room. Upon rejecting this lower floor room we were told our room wasn't ready yet. They found a room for us on the 14th floor which we accepted. When we got into our room we discovered it was a suite which sounds great, however, the wall that was in this suite blocked the window view from the bed and jacuzzi. The window had one chair by it to see the falls and a couch off against the wall that you could not see the falls feom. This made it impossible for us to enjoy the view together and not have a view for majority of the room. I was unimpressed with the customer service and the hotel overall.

Well the view is amazing but that is about all I can say for this hotel. You are paying for the view only!
I expected the standard Marriott experience. But you get rude staff and dirty rooms. There was a giant spider wed in our room and the fire alarm would not stop beeping. Instead of them trying to fix it they just removed it. So obviously safety isn’t a concern for them. The bathtub was nasty!
The room included complimentary breakfast. What a joke! The food was not cooked and the restaurant is dirtier then the rooms. Dead bugs in the window by our table. Food all over the floor. Looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in weeks.

And nobody cares about any of your issues so there is no use in even complaining!
After this experience I will never stay at a Marriott again!

This is the most amazing place in the world! Looking at some of the photographs, I’m sure you will agree there is no other hotel view quite like this one. Service is far above everything else - typical Marriott standard! Love it & will be back.

Nice hotel. Beautiful view! Great location! We stayed on the 9th floor and had a perfect view of the horseshoe falls. I'm not sure if a higher floor would have made any difference but the hotel has 23 guest floors. Walk out the back door of the hotel and cross the bridge then you are at the entrance to the incline railway. That's the elevator down from street level to the falls. Perfect. We had a delicious dinner at the Mortons on site but spent plenty of time exploring away from the hotel, too. It's walkable to get to the boat ride and the zipline then a little bit further to the Clifton Hill area for more touristy activity and a fun time at the Niagara Brewing Co. So we valet parked at the hotel and never drove again until we left Canada.

Stayed at this hotel twice and was not impressed with the service and level of cleanliness.

The first time, the fridge was not working and it took 3 calls and over 2 hours before someone came to my room to tell me there is nothing they can do. If the fridge is not working, then the room should not have been put into service (I expected more from the Marriott Brand).

The second time we booked two rooms. Upon arrival I notice the toilet bowl was not clean. Then when I placed my phone on the night stand I realized that someone before me had spilled coke. This tells me that the room was not cleaned properly and was never inspected before it was released for the next guest.

I had contacted the Hotel Director but never heard back.
Extremely disappointed with Marriott's management.

The last time I was in Niagara, I stayed at the Double Tree Fallsview, the rooms were clean, staff were friendly and parking was much cheaper.

I arrived at the Marriott on the 25th hoping and wishing it will be a great and amazing vacation. Well. I WAS WRONG. My experience with the hotel was TERRIBLE. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!

Few things you should know.

1. The managers treat their guess like they are liars. I was promised a waived fee by the manager John but because he never put it in the system and was off for 2 days he claims otherwise after the manager on duty called him to confirm. Then she proceeded to tell me I misunderstood. I can't misunderstand if there were 2 other people present who heard the same as me.

2. The fallriver view room is really a view to the street, parking lot, and the trashcan with a slight view of the river in the corner of you look hard enough.

2. I got into the the room after a long day and wanted to call it a night. I pulled the sheets and flipped the pillows to fluff it. To my surprise there was fluid stains on the pillows and on the headboard dripping down. I find it so NASTY that's they couldn't change the sheets from the previous guest. If I was not the type of person to check, I would of been sleeping in someone else's fluid. NASTY.

I just think it's terrible to treat people like this. I am a paying guess and I thought The Marriott was the best out there. I was wrong.

Absolutely beautiful rooms and gorgeous view of Niagara Falls. Our room was on a lower level too, and it was still so breathtaking. There were cozy sitting chairs by the window-wall for the view. The bed was soft and perfect, there was a jacuzzi, and several tvs (although we didn't use them). Niagara Falls was a short walk away, so was all the other touristy destinations. The breakfast in the morning was the best hotel breakfast I've ever had. Their potatoes were heavenly. Stay here. You won't regret it!

While visiting Niagara Falls for my birthday at the keg I ended up staying at this hotel and I must say they’re awesome I was having some issues upon checking in but it was resolved with supervisor. I was in need to upgrade my bed to a two beds As my children needed to stay with me they did not have a two bedroom available at the time but within a few hours or by the next day I’m not too sure I don’t remember correctly but either which way the upgraded my room to a two bed with a den with a Spa bath like I had asked for. I was really satisfied with my stay and it’s always a plus to have a Starbucks in your lobby.

I stayed here for 3 days while touring the Canadian side of Niagara Falls. The room was fairly nice. The view was the best I have seen in the area. It was clean and everything was comfortable. The only issue I had was the service. My refrigerator was broken and I called for a new one. Instead of replacing the sleek black one that fit inside the designated area, they put a large old white refrigerator in the middle of my room. I called again and they said they would come and replace it.it never happened of course. No big deal just thought it was worth a mention. Overall you will be happy.

The hotel is very expensive for a dated hotel, but it has great views to Niagara falls from the rooms. However, be warned that the lower floors have obstructed views to both the US and Canadian falls. Marriott charged the same rate for lower and upper floors. Also, on the Marriott booking website, it does not warn customers of the obstructed views. In my opinion, Marriott is purposely defrauding customers by not disclosing obstructed views rooms and charging the same rate. For this reason, it lost one star in the review.

Got the falls view roomand the view was worth every penny! The executive room was huge with a big jacuzzi, separate sitting room with the view, and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was also very helpful and the valet service was also very nice saved us a lot of walking

The view was spectacular. All rooms face the falls. I love sleeping in the Marriott beds. Room was clean and modern, but no desk. Instead we got a big Jacuzzi tub. The room was a tiny bit smallish. But big enough for the two of us.

I recently just stayed at this hotel and when I got there, it was beautiful! I had a great view of the falls and I was awed. A couple days after I got there, I left money on my dresser. So I Went out on the town for a couple of hours, and when I returned, my money was gone. I looked evrywhere and I couldnt find it. So I'm assuming that the people who clean the rooms took it. Another thing is when I was looking for my money, a saw a blue toy in between my bed and my nightstand. So as I took it out, it was covered in dust and it was dirty and gross. It looked like it had been there for 2 months. If you ask me, thats not a very good cleaning service. So if you get a room here, just make sure you check everything. And dont leave your money hanging around.

This hotel is right above the horsehoe falls with an outstanding view. Falls view rooms get a great view of the fireworks every night at 10: 00 pm. Lots of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel and plenty of public transportation.
