Dec9th two rides, two experiences
First ride was a pick up from Niagara Go, interesting fellow thought it would be wise to try and educate me on Islam, I'm Jewish by the way.
Nuff said about that ride.
Second ride, a call to pick up to the Go,
Nice fellow did not talk politics or religion, very wise driver, decided to talk about music a very safe and non confrontational way to communicate to an unknown passenger. He got a great tip and I took his name to request for future.
First driver needs to keep mouth shut on hot topics, you do not know the origin of who is paying you to drive, it's best to stay away from politics or religion, specially right now.

I just had a car pick me up at the medical center-Portage Road-and deliver me to 6390 Huggins Street. I just wanted to say he was a big surprise in that he was polite, courteous and helpful. I wish more of your drivers were like him! He was able to avoid the awful mess of road construction on Portage and use an alternate and NOT more costly route - to get me home. Thanks! Dec 6/2023

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! Rude Driver named Malik we booked a taxi in your company to give us a service going to the naiagra cruise and we are in a rush. Upon arrival we told him that I will pay through debit visa his debit machine wasnt opened that time so I have to wait for him to open the machine and while I was waiting for him patiently so I can pay he was blaming me that I should've told him that I will pay thru debit. At first I didnt react the way he said it because he is almost yelling at me and he was so rude. He was telling it to me multiple times and I told him that he should be the one who opened his debit machine first before he start his journey on giving ride to people because people are always paying thru card and he cannot blame his customer he started yelling at me and when im done in my payment he is still holding me up not to come out on the taxi because he needs to confirm if the payment went through it taking him more minutes and I showed him my deduction on my card and he started yelling and swearing at me he even get out of his car just to scare me and I am a woman I have a witnesses on the incident. This guy ruined my day and its my first time here in toronto! He was even shouting and asking me where did I came from? I'm from saskatchewan and this is my first time in toronto why does he have to bring up where did I came from? This is bad customer service and racism he was calling me names and saying the F words his service is bringing shame to your company. I hope that this attitude of your employee won't be tolerated. I got screwed bybthe driver who refused to usé the mettre, he charge 50$ for à 11.4 km trip. Hé made me pay before, on top of it, he was not listening to the instructions and took the wrong way 4 times. Seriously à very bad experience. What a crook!

This taxi ended up costing me 15 dollars more than my quoted uber price. The smell in the car was AWFUL.and my 16 yr old and 10 yr old daughter spotted something in the back seat that appeared to be fish bones. I was curious of the price difference between uber and niagara taxi cab, I will never use this service again. Dirty vehicle for a lot more money. I wish there was an option to give zero stars.

Drivers are great but the company is still living in the 80s. No tap. Few cars have Debit and sometime you wait an hour.

Cab came on time. Driver was courteous and hassle free experience. Took the cab from Niagara city Cruises to the Embassy with a cost of around 11 CAD

Cab ride and driver good getting through was a little difficult but it was a nice day and it was busy

I have to use this cab company, as it's the only one in town more or less. However they are so unreliable that more then once I've been late waiting for a cab that never shows. Is it a dispatching issue? Customer service is no longer important after doing the job for so long? Cab driver issue? I have a Hard time with that one as a fare is income to them. Zero accountability here. It's hard enough for people who dont drive to get a decent job, as reliable transportation to work is important to employers. A cab company's whole purpose is to BE that reliable form of transportation. Customer service means caring about your customers, food for thought

Dispatcher who helped with our reservation was named Ashley. Super friendly and helpful. Answered all my questions with the utmost patience. Wonderful help.

Our driver was Peter. Great guy. Super punctual. Called right on the dot, gave clear pickup instructions. Great dining suggestions too.

My driver name was Vitalie. He was amazing. I called for a taxi and it arrived in 5 mins. I will definitely use Niagara Falls Taxi in the future.

We have experienced so ease and comfort while riding in this taxi service that we didn't even have to wait for 10 mins.

Good for if you're going somewhere in close distance any further it's not worth it way too expensive they start the meter at just about $4 dollars

Just paid 19$ without tip for a 4 minute ride. I recommend using if you love to throw away your money and want to get nowhere on time because they’ll drive slow to increase your price! Bonus marks: they won’t pick you up where you ask too!

They have an app but the earliest you can book is 30 minutes out. Best to just call them directly and they came within 5 minutes of the call. Professional service no complaints.

Both my Mom and i have have been using Niagara Taxi for over 30 years. Mom used to take them to back and forth to work everyday, plus grocery runs and appointments. Up until recently they have always had prompt service, with both dispatch and the drivers, repeatedly saying if a vehicle doesn't show up within 10 minutes please call us back. During the 2 years of lockdowns with no one going anywhere, we still supported NFT and every driver was grateful for ANY fare. Most would drive me out to Walmart and WAIT until I was done and then take me home. Since things have opened up, I have noticed a couple of new voices on dispatch. At least one of them is incredibly rude when you call back to find out where the vehicle is after 15 minutes, telling us the they are super busy. When the driver shows up they some have said they were doing nothing and it was a slow day. 99% of the drivers are decent and friendly. Today I was told, after waiting 15 minutes, that they were still trying to find a driver to do a grocery run. A couple years ago they had a similar problem with drivers not wanting to go out to Walmart, instead hoping to get the big fares from the Casino. Dispatch at that time, got on the air and told ALL drivers, that if they were not willing to do those jobs, they should go home. Dispatch needs to get on these drivers a little more and remember that it is the LOCALS that keep you in business when the tourists are all gone away. Meanwhile there are about 5-10 taxi's sitting in the McD's parking lot, some not even in use. Some just spares. Hire more drivers, PAY THEM BETTER and they will stick around longer. The vehicle owners will get more in the long run, the company looks better and rebuilds it's reputation, which is sinking fast. Most importantly the locals will continue to support you. How do drivers know that someone calling from Walmart will be a small fare? What if it is a staff member who lives the other side of town? From Walmart to Stanford Centre or Downtown has to be close to a $20 fare or more. What if it is someone using the Walk In Clinic? Or is the real problem that drivers have gotten super lazy and don't want help load and unload groceries?

These are the biggest bunch of sloppy/sketchy drivers I've ever seen and their job is to TRANSIT people around!? I have and would NEVER recommend anyone use them either. Living in the Falls, I constantly watch them cut people off, run red lights and speed like maniacs. I understand that one could look at it as being "quick" and "efficient" however in any actual professional driving business (as I was in), drivers like this are hazards driving themselves, let alone other people! Not to mention they would lose employment.
A bad one was last weekend at Clifton Hill/Ferry while I was walking, the guy was turning onto the hill and just dead stops mid intersection for almost a full minute (didn't even see anyone get in or out. Not sure what the point of it even was), but then proceeded to cause a very dangerous situation for those trying to cross the street as well as an absolute traffic jam for those driving. Other vehicles as well as pedestrians were then stuck in the middle of the intersection at the next light rotation. A common sense driver would at the very least pull over down the hill a little bit for whatever reason there was to stop!
Get these people off the road before something serious happens!

Called this taxi company to see if they could provide a group of 5 women a ride from NOTL to a a local winery. The gentleman I spoke to said that they can and to give them about half hour notice to be picked up. On our way to the winery, the taxi driver (Jonathan Taxi #12) gave us his card and told us to let them know to dispatch him to come and pick us up when we were ready to get picked up from the winery, I called and spoke to Ashley who said that they would only pick us up if we were coming back to Niagara Falls. I explained that the gentleman I spoke to earlier along with the taxi driver (Jonathan) said that they would provide that service. She had no interest in helping us out and was extremely rude! My friend ended up calling back and told her that we had been drinking and had no way of getting back to our Airbnb, she passed her to a gentleman who was probably the man I spoke to originally who agreed to dispatch a driver to pick us up.

Ali showed up within 10mins and was amazing! Shout out to these great driver for poor dispatchers!

They don't take names when you call, so you may end up having to call multiple times to get picked up in busy areas. Friendly drivers.

Called for a ride. Waited a full hour and then called again. They didn't bother to call us to say that the address we gave wasn't in their system. Ended up using Uber instead. Won't use them again.

Hate that almost every single taxi I have used in the last little while, smells like smoke because they smoke in their cabs nonstop. Absolutely disgusting! Won't be using them anymore. It's for public to use, so smoking shouldn't be in the cars!

Good drivers, fast service. The times I've used their services I've had nothing but quality. Definitely recommended if you need to take a cab.

Niagara Falls Taxi is my LIFE SAVER! We have had a charge account with them since August, and have been nothing but amazing. Being a small business they are always patient when payments are late. There car's are clean and on-time. There office is easy to get ahold of, friendly to deal with and there manager has been nothing but amazing. I had a car on New Years Eve in less than an hour. I highly recommended Niagara Falls Taxi - and they are locally owned! Way way way cheaper then Uber

I used to take Niagara Falls taxi 3 times per week. Until today. Ive paid debit without a problem atleast half the times I ride. This time after the ride the driver said the debit probably doesn't work. We tried 4 times without it working. Although it clearly said accepts debit on the window. I didn't have any cash on me and when I told him that the driver got angry and aggressive and threatened me. Once I got back home I called dispatch and the lady on the phone (very rudely) told me it's my responsibility to ask if they take debit and tried to get my card info over the phone. Very rude. Very poor customer service

Ordered a taxi over the phone. They said they would be there in five minutes. They never showed. I had to call an Uber.

Really nice drivers. Dispatcher needs to cheer up sometimes. Last cab i had was so dirty/grimy, i had to wash my hands when i got home.

Quick and knowledgable of streets. Not very friendly but got the job done. Fees were reasonable.

Only for him to drop Us off at a DUMP OF A MOTEL. Am SURE the cab driver, has something sketchy going on with THIS MOTEL! * (Which was the Caravan inn motel, DO NOT GO HERE!).

Horrible pricing and trying to rip off customers. Certain drivers will try and charge more with the visa machine and they try and charge extra for rides within the area. Uber is more cost effective and reliable. Tried charging me 40-45$ for 25$ maximum ride on uber from foothill to niagara.

I tried the Niagara Taxis as I'd didn't wanted to carry my toddler daughter's car seat throughout my Niagara tour. We used it to travel between bus terminal to hotel and back the next day. They have quick service and good drivers.

Sam and Abdul SAVED our butts - THANK YOU! We were at a winery in NOTL for a wedding, and were stranded after not being able to get an Uber, and contacting several other taxi companies that had no one available or would cancel. We were so thankful, that Abdul showed up with his van to take us back to Niagara Falls - we seriously were thinking that we were going to have to sleep in the vineyard. We are so appreciative. Abdul was great, and we loved the 90s/00s hip hop jams on the way back to the falls. Again, THANK YOU!

The taxi driver was nice and quick. However when we went to pay the CAD$10 taxi we had USD we inquired if we could pay using US bills he stated he preferred Canadian which is reasonable. He said “just give me the $10 USD” that he would keep the rest. We then inquired about using a card he said yes and we would be charged Canadian there. I just saw my card statement and we weren’t charged Canadian we were charged USD which brought the amount to a higher value than planned. The total was $10Canadian so $7 USD we were charged $10USD. I don’t mind the $3 but it was the act that he was purposefully trying to take our money that I didn’t appreciate. I actually left him a tip on the card when I paid so he deliberately took our money. Petty charge but I don’t recommend this service unless you’re desperate.

The driver got me to and from where I needed to go quickly but he wasn't wearing a mask and was coughing, in these times it didn't seem very safe and left me uncomfortable.

I had a driver tell me he doesn’t have a debit machine so I had to pay cash. Why are your drivers driving around without a debit machine? I asked them not to send me this driver again. And then they sent me him again. Annoying.

Havnt used the cab services in years! During all this covid the guy was super nice and super clean. Definitely will use again if needed. Prices where normal.

. Here I am half way between zehrsand hi way thinking I can walk home to montrose. With a my bags. But nooe. Too windy. I call a cab from dawson and Dorchester. He says nope need an addy. Never have b4. Know how far it is from there to an addy. Now walking over hieay bridge lost half my groceries in wind. Thankks. And too bad ya lost along time custy. Drivers know I tip a fin at least every time. Rather walk when that how u treat ppl.

Seriously too many times I have had to walk home in the pouring rain or bad weather or at night alone in the dark due to NF taxis not answering phones or the direct taxi phones. Just happened again! Imagine being stuck with a load of groceries and needing to get home with them and trying for an hour to get through. Recording says my call is important to them and plays ads over and over but no one ever answers! Busy or not after a half hour or hour someone should answer the phone! Lousy service. They also have drivers who do not wear masks and one even ranted my entire way home about how Covid is a hoax and how great Trump is (and I live in Canada)! What services did they perform is what this review asks? I got NO SERVICE! Sick of this cab company! Starting to LOVE the illegal cab companies.they answer call and show up. I don't get stuck walking home.

My driver yesterday, Dennis, was beyond awesome! He was soo nice and made me feel so comfortable taking a taxi alone. He asked me if I wanted him to wait for me, but I wasn't sure how long I'd be. He told me he would have to sit and wait for his next call which would probly be me anyways! He waited outside with no tab running waiting like he would for his next call. He was soo nice and I felt very protected from Covid from all the measures he took. Even with all the craziness I have going on right now, I had to make sure to write a review on him thank you!

There is one time.the drive pick me up at my location drive me to my drop off.
After 2 min driving me the driver asked me he can pickup a friend and tap along on the ride lol
I haven't have a CHANGES to say no the driver open door and let him friend on the cab.

One of their drivers just ran my motorcycle off the road in st catharines and after running it over he drove away yelling I recorded that some service when called them to inform them they responded with email this fake email address and maybe someone will do something

Great way to get around in Niagara falls, they are very helpful to me, I had lost my phone in the trunk of the taxi and they made so easy and they were so very helpful, I recieved it back

There is this one lady that answers the phones that NEVER sends a cab to my addresss. I have been late for work more times than i can count, because of her. Then when i call back to ask where my car is she tells me i never called for a car. Not sure whats goin on but its getting tiring you must not want my money then. I'll start using a different service. They do this to my boyfriend too ALL THE TIME

Truly wish there was a minus stars option considering one of there drivers just ran my boyfriend and I over on our motorcycle in St Catharines near the pen center c, us off.very disgusted that the dispatch doesn't even have information or even have a phone number for one single "board member"

As we're from out of town we took Niagara Falls taxi for the first time. We had cab NW (Sasha) he was very friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely a great experience. Highly recommend and will use them again on our next trip.

Very professional and kind employees and expecially the receptionist answering the phone very professional and nice and so helpful as one particular night I didn't know exactly where I was and Niagara Falls taxi lady helped me perfectly and I got home safely and that's why I always use Niagara Falls taxi

I took greyhound bus to niagara falls nov 30.
When i came to bus station, i asked to central taxi to falls how much is it.they want $25 flat. Than i saw yellow taxi cross from the main door from bus station. He told me they run on the meter and it is arround $14. I went to the falls with him and meter was $13.75 that time uber was charging $23.90 with the surcharge. Thank you niagara falls taxi for honest and reliable service.

Cheaper than uber and they are professional taxi driver that know the city and when the city is jammed during summer months they know how to get you places fast and cheap.

We went to Niagara Falls for quick getaway with my family for the weekend. Everytime we need to go around, I called Niagara Falls Taxi service and all the drivers were very polite, courteous, safe, knowledgeable. Clean vehicles. Prices were believe it or not cheaper than uber. Thank you very much for your great service and I can recommend their service to anyone.

Terrible service.i was running almost behind time to take my bus.the drive took us one mile away to go to the casino from down in the falls.i cant relieve it.i lost mi bus and have to pay 20 dollars.i would have rather walked would have been faster and cheaper

I called around 3pm on June 3rd, 2019.the customer service representative/ operator was so rude, and hang up on me! He must NOT be on his job. He must quit, or if it's his own company, he's not on the right one!

GREAT SERVICE 100% Helped out to save a group of passengers from Niagara on the Lake. MTO pulled over bus for a inspection they got us 4 vans and 2 sedans for a group of 31 to get to YYZ airport. Perfect and friendly guys and girls. Thank you very much.

Had a taxi try and either rip off my gf becuase he thought she was drunk OR try n kid nap her. After driving the completely wrong way for 5 mins and my gf complaining 5 times about it. She had the threaten the driver in order for him to stop and he continued to cirlce them untill they found a house to get in and call the company and another SAFE taxi. Ill never use yellow cab again. Scamer drivers and the comapny says " oh sorry, notthing we can do". DONT NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE ALONE WITH YOUR WIFE OR GF!

Disgusting they picked up my girl friend on xmas day and because she was all dolled up for work the driver was harassing her asking her personal information very unprofessional not only did he leave the meter running while hitting on her outside of her work he also took forever to get out the debit machine making her late for her shift terrible I will be making a visit in person there soon
