A bunch of retards work there. They don't understand mental illness, they keep harassing me, to the point I had to give my notice, so I wouldn't be so stressed out. The funny thing is I wrote a dozen emails to them with no reply, but the minute I gave my notice those idiots responded. Nrh is a waste the of tax payers money.

NRH keep taking my child tax credit and Jim Bradley does not seem to care as long as he's getting a fat pay-check. They know what they are doing is illegal. Its all documented. Save yourself the legal trouble. Do not support this organization who steals from kids mouths.

Niagara Regional Housing is a God Send! The staff are knowledgeable, understanding and compassionate. Some people complain about the wait times but fail to realize that housing is in short supply and they can't get units for people that don't exist.

I for one feel blessed to involved with NRH.

This organization is useless. They only care about collecting the rent. One of their building has roaches now. They landlords seem non existent. Disgusting

Starting now, I will be driving over my blue recycling bins, and dumping them on front of their building! Past 4 weeks in a row now, they have not picked it up! What kind of idiots they have for contractors? ! Unbelievable! I have NEVER experienced such ridiculous service! Never! Useless! Why even bother having a recycle program? ! My dad has been on the list for over 3 years, which apparently is nothing compared to most of the previous reviews (not ok). He has been living with my brother for over a year now when he was told multiple times "you're moving up the list! Shouldn't be long now. " Which obviously that isn't the case. He's also on the emergency listing and that clearly hasn't done anything for him.

His working also messed up how much he was paying for rent at my brother's and he had to get back pay from him new worker (this girl actually knows how to treat people).

Please improve the way you not only treat people, but how you deal with the importance of "emergency listing".

Going homeless is not an emergency issue with them. Losing a job is not an emergency with them. Ontario works and disability don't pay enough to stay in an apartment these days. Their whole system is bs as they "strive to eliminate homelessness, " yet they don't stop it at its source.

The problem is not with each other we all are in need of affordable housing and have different circumstances. I believe NRH tries its best to help how many family's as they can. We need talk with are Government office and start to pressure them more to build more multi units building to house people in need. The Government waste billions of dollars on useless contracts that could have been spent helping people that need housing. And we are spending billions of dollars helping people from other countries which i feel we should do also but also take care of the people that are from are country first then help the rest of the world as we can. Like the saying goes you can't help others if you can't even help yourself.

I have applied for housing and all I get is "you're on the waiting list" I am homeless.just because I am not on the streets does not mean I am not. I applied for priority housing and they said I wasn't on priority listing as they asked "which form did you fill out" I have sent a later informing them my living conditions and all they can ask is what form? I should have been added immediately. I do not believe there is no spot for people that are homeless. I have been informed by tenants how many apartments available.

Kim, an agent at NRH was a superb, friendly, understanding and understood me every need and explained ckearly all my concerns.
She has a fantastic public relations sense.
Simply a great person, an great asset to this department.
Even after my contract was signed, she returned all my calls promptly.

Dina Delgrande the Niagara region public housing property manager set a record in evicting single mothers and the mentally ill from subsidized housing. As property manager syringes in the park have been picked up by toddlers, used condoms and litter are the norm not to mention Dina not being concerned with black mold and cracked asbestos tiles in the complexes she presides over.

Dina Delgrande is a property administrator. She is always trying to kick me out of my housing. She will do anything to pick on the weak, she often lies and has no human warmth when I notify her of housing issues. My toilet keeps overflowing and is oozing out of my kitchen ceiling. When I bring this up to Dina she tells me this is not her concern.

The place is very clean, and well managed. The tenant staff are both very kind men with great sense of humor - Great Job guys - thank you

Apparently Niagara Regional Housing has been given the right to lie to applicants, blackmail them and cheat them out of money not owed just so you can get put on the list.
. I am being wrongfully denied access to the housing list by Ellen Stewart (eligibility person). She told me un writing that I supposedly owed them money and that I should contact Stephen Walters corporation.
I did contact Stephen Walters and they say I don't owe money to niagara regional housing. So I filed an appeal letter on Feb 7 and got no response. Both Ellen Stewart and Michelle Mellon (administrators) refuse to acknowledge my appeal or look into the issue at all. So basically as a disabled person on disability I can't get any justice. I wish I could sue them but financially thats hard to do
