We don't usually do the gimmicky, tourist stuff but my wife and I felt like it would be fun to do a big ferris wheel. For $15 each, seemed worth it for a cool view.
I'm afraid of heights but after the 3rd spin, I was fine. It's such an awesome view from up there. You can see the US falls perfectly. Quality views of the horseshoe too. I'm glad we did it.
Nice looking ride and great views for sure. A little on the pricey side but everything is in Niagara falls. 5 people $85. We had a good time. Go at night!
I came to ride the Ferris wheel at night a few years ago. It was very romantic when the lights were on, as if I was walking into a TV show. A few years later, when I came back during the day, it turned out to be a different feeling. The sky was clear and clear, and I watched the Ferris wheel slowly rise to a high point, enjoying the panoramic view of the Horseshoe Falls and the surrounding buildings. It was very beautiful. The price is a bit more expensive than before, so it is more cost-effective to buy a package. There are about 4 laps in one play, enough time to take photos or take photos. There is a special parking area for strollers, which is very suitable for families or couples. It is hard not to like the Ferris wheel that is not exciting and has great views.
Post Covid pricing is $15/adult and $7/kids (3-12) Ride was good, kids enjoyed the view and we went around 5 times, I think. Very reasonable.we did it during the day, with lots to see all around.my 7 yr old wanted to go again at night with all the lights on.we'll do it again, next trip
Back in the summer of 1988 I was a part of the upkeep management team at Maple Leaf Village the original amusement park this ferris wheel was an attraction at. I've always thought that the placement was superb where they ended up putting this wooden monstrosity right off Clifton Hill in the entranceway to the amusements that led to the mall proper. You can see both falls very well plus the spin is slow enough to allow everyone in their seats to really enjoy the offered views whether to take pictures or just take in the areas natural breathtaking beauty. Plus the summer i worked at the park i ended up being put on the painting crew & no-one wanted to get near the ferris wheel so over half of June and the first week of July I pretty much repainted the entire thing it's something I will never ever forget. It's just nice to see they revamped it so another generation could enjoy it as well
I visited the Niagara Falls last year and Sky wheel was definitely on my go-to list when i saw it. Turned out an absolutely amazing choice! Loved the cabin (i enjoyed it on my own), the ride took about 15', enough time to enjoy the views to the falls and the whole area around them! The only 'negative' is the queue and waiting time (reasonable for a tourist period though) but the ride makes up for it! Cant wait to visit it again. Much love from Greece!
A great opportunity to see everything from up high. Great views. If you start at the wheel, you can see the other things that you want to accomplish in a day. Can get a pass to save money and do plenty of attractions to fill your time.
This is a nice ferris wheel. I went on this ferris wheel while I was visiting Niagara Falls and was satisfied with my experience. I walked up to the ferris wheel and waited in line to get in, which didn’t take very long. Once I was at the front of the line I got in one of ferris wheel pods, which had a roof and could fit four people. The ferris wheel went up and I got to see a nice view of the city of Niagara Falls from the ferris wheel, which was nice. I went on this ride when it was dark, so I could t see the actual Niagara Falls that well. Once the Ferris wheel ride came back down, I got off and left, satisfied with my experience. I gave this ferris wheel five stars because you can see a nice view of the city of Niagara Falls from the ferris wheel. You’d probably be able to see a nice view of the actual Niagara Falls as well, but it was dark when I went on the ride.
