Nice Diggz

They did a terrible job with my dogs nails and their excuse was it was too hard. They won’t give treats, they won’t use muzzles and they can’t handle big dogs.so what are you good for?

How is this a professional service if you can’t deal with difficult dogs. This is supposed to be a solution for home grooming. Idiots. Imagine bringing your car to a mechanic and they say it’s too hard to fix your car, so I only fixed it half way but charge you full price. And my mistake was paying before the job was “done”. AND then they have the audacity to be mad at ME for bringing my dog in who is scared of getting his nails clipped.

Were just there for a nail clip. My dog was bleeding afterward. They said it was just a small vein she can walk back home. However, I had to carry my dog all the way back home as the bleeding didn’t stop. They didn’t even bother to cover it with a gauze and hold it for a couple of minutes!

Part 1:
One our dogs last groom after not hearing from them for five hours my dad called to get an update on our dog. They told him she was ready for a while and some one was supposed to have called. When he went to pick her up she was in the middle of her cut and no where near ready, and was told the need d another hour. They ended up shaving all her fur off including the fur on her tail which I know was not matted.

Part 2: We decided to give them one more chance as our dog has been going here since she was a puppy (however Nice Diggz was under different ownership). My dad got a call that our dog was ready, and they gave him the wrong dog this time, and our dog was still being groomed. They do not seem to do a good job keeping track of the dogs they take in and we are extremely frustrated with their service.

I take my American Akita here for a bath and deshedding once a year and he loves it here. Comes home happy and shiny:). Staff are nice and prices reasonable.

Amazing staff and facilities. They have always taken great care of my dog for the past 5 years.

I just came back from having my chihuahua‘s nails cut. 4 of his nails are bleeding. You can easily see the the quick. This should not have happened. I will never go back to that groomer.

Was not happy with the last experience we had there we paid for the de shedder and The fur that came off my dog for weeks later was ridiculous which means he wasn’t brushed out afterwards properly. Unfortunately we were just not happy with the grooming process. Wayyy overpriced too

Love this place! My Hungarian Vizsla Hudson goes for daycare and always has a great time socializing with other dogs. He is a high energy breed and after a day at Nice Diggz, he comes home happy and tired. The front desk staff are friendly and Hudson is always excited to see them when he goes!

We had both our rescue dogs in for their first bath. Excellent job, very attentive to them. Very pleased.

I brought my 7 month old Maltese pup for the first time for the spa treatment and couldn't be happier. They have a puppy introduction package for $110 which includes 3 visits (bath/blow dry. Sanitary trim/nails.full haircut). My dog loved it and so did I. Keep up the great work!

Absolutely amazing place. Ladies were friendly and very sweet. They were amaizing took me in right away without any problems.

Drove over 30mins to bring my dog to get groomed. When I booked over the phone two weeks ago I explained she was a 12 year old Pomeranian, who hasn’t been to a groomer in 2 years due to covid. And has been given home baths and cuts. Given that she’s a rescue her anxiety is high and not having been to a groomer would definitely make it worse. When I got here, was told that I should bring her to a vet instead and that they wouldn’t groom her. Couldn’t that have been explained over the phone? Why make me drive all the way here to tell me to turn around? Communication is severely lacking and needs major improvement. If you’re not accepting new clients than say so online because I didn’t need to waste my time.

Although the staff that met us were friendly, the whole set up is not ideal especially for senior dogs.
We were there this weekend and it was our first visit. We are not in your log books we were walk ins.
They took my dog down steep stairs to get groomed. He fell down the stairs and coming up he tripped again! (my husband and I heard) they didn’t mention anything about him falling only that they cut him deep and he bled on his back foot. We got home and he was crying in pain from the same foot they cut him. We rushed him to the vet because he was limping. $462 later for what was a simple nail trim. Never again! You should let people know that their pets have to go down a dark staircase. Not ideal for senior pets or pets with vision issues. Get a ramp!
Update: In your other negative reviews you have been defensive and don’t own up to your negligence. Take some constructive criticism and do better for the people that give you business. I wish I had seen the reviews before I visited.

Have a large breed puppy with anxiety. Made it clear I would need to introduce the puppy to help ease anxiety. Groomer showed up extremely late and I was unable to introduce. Grooming job didn’t get done. A simple phone call saying they were late and I could of come later to make the situation better. I’m sure they are great groomers but lack of communication was a real problem here. Also showing up late is not acceptable.

Staff was very nice and treated our senior dog with a little bit of extra tender care. We just used the grooming service and would definitely recommend to others.

First time coming here and I’ve never been this satisfied with how amazing they did at grooming my husky. Her coat had matting and was extremely coarse. They did so great at deshedding her as well as brushing out all of the matting. Thank you for your patience with Rosie, her coat is softer and shinier than ever before and smells amazing. We will definitely come back again ️

Also, their prices are extremely reasonable for their amazing work!:)

I absolutely love Nice Diggz! The daycare is awesome and they do a fantastic job grooming my Westie. Would highly recommend!

Our dog Bingo got sprayed by a skunk today, we found Nice Diggz near our location. We sent him there half an hour before they close. They did a fantastic job de-skunking, and Bingo looks amazing after grooming. The staff is very nice and they genuinely care about dogs. Bingo didn't want to leave after apparently he had a great time there. I would highly recommend Nice Diggz, and thank you again for everything!:)

This was the first time I’d used their service. They cut open my dog’s tongue. The dog bled all the way to the vet and the treatment that was needed as a result was expensive. There has been no communication from Nice Diggz since the incident. I would not feel safe bringing my dog back.

I’ve been bringing my cockapoo Tali here for a little bit now and she always looks great after her grooming. The staff is super nice and helpful.

I have been bringing my boy Kane here for about a year now and he always comes out looking great and feeling super soft.

Our little adopted guy Darien had not been to a groomer for a very long time. He is also a very anxious little boy so kudos to Nice Diggz for transforming him from a mass of tangled and matted fur to the handsome Summer-ready dog he now is. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Castro loves loves loves Nice Diggz. He is absolutely obsessed with the gentleman that does his nails. Castro is a giant Cane Corso and this has been the best grooming place ever.

The cut was okay. A little expensive.

Nice Diggs is the Best Place I have ever found for my babies. Phil Is the Groomer I will never go anywhere else now we have him at Nice Diggs.they know just how to take care of my 3 Dogs! The Staff are awesome there and I so appreciate the patience they give to my dogs! Great Location and always willing to take care of your animals when you need them even for a quick trim.

Love the groomers here! They always do an exceptional job with my pup as she sheds quite a bit. Would highly recommend.

Excellent groom and extremely friendly staff! The “stay and play” feature so I could drop off my lil guy in the morning and come back after work is a great plus

Just brought my pup here for a bath and stay and play. We were so impressed with the staff, they were all so friendly, and knowledgeable. They took the time to answer all my questions. Charlie came home so happy and tuckered out after his stay and play. We couldn't be more thrilled!

Every time we brought our dog here they were able to transform him into a completely different dog! Never any problems afterward, no irritations or poorly done jobs. Our dog is happy and we are happy too

A great place to take our young pup for grooming! She really enjoys playing with the other dogs as well. The team at Nice Diggz do a nice job keeping detailed information about your dog to ensure that each cut matches the one you really liked in the past! The staff are friendly and really care about the dogs when they come in! Really happy I found you ladies!

Nice Diggz is perhaps the best dog daycare/ grooming business in Toronto and the G. T. A. They provide wonderful service and it is very obvious that they genuinely care about the dogs and their owners. They have reasonable prices, responsible employees who are very friendly. Nice Diggz go above and beyond in the services they provide whether it is in grooming or day care offering fun special events such as "Picture Day" with the dogs during the year to capture special moments for your pet at Christmas, and Halloween to just mention a few.
10/10 would recommend.

Our pup Max loves the Nice Diggz family. We feel very fortunate to have a great day care that Max can visit and have some social time - the hours are so convenient and the price is excellent. The whole team is so friendly and obviously love dogs, I love checking the daily daycare Instagram posts, always great to see him playing with his friends. Socialization is so important and I feel so lucky that Max can play all days with his puppy pals:) thank you Nice Diggz for that!

Max has also had both a Bath and Tidy and a full groom. We had to deal with some major matting and felt the grooming team definitely took the time to explain what to expect and our options with no judgement, understanding our concerns. We are thrilled to know the whole team, from the owners on. Such a wonderful business to have in the neighbourhood!

My dog goes here everyday and always comes home a happy and sleepy puppy. The staff are so friendly and whenever I walk in their I feel welcomed and I know for sure my dog is safe and loved by everyone there.

My puppy Marshall loves daycare here. He always has tons of fun, and is super excited to go in when we drop him off in the morning. It's convenient that we can book grooming to be done during a daycare day, and have him play until pickup.

This is the only dog daycare I’ve ever taken my dog to because it’s so close to home. I’m so glad there’s a reliable and safe dog daycare so conveniently located. The fact there is a grooming facility attached is also very convenient, my dog can get a nail trim or grooming session while she’s there for a day. The service is excellent here. One day my dog became very dirty while playing at the daycare and they gave her a free bath to clean her up. Around the holidays they often do cute holiday themed photo shoots with the pups and provide a photo for you to take home. I highly recommend this place for all your doggy daycare and grooming needs.

We love Nice Diggz! My dog's separation anxiety is a pretty extreme case when he's alone but he enjoys his days with the daycare staff and his dog friends SO much. Having him there gives us all a big sense of calm. He comes home happy and tired. We're very thankful for Nice Diggz.
