Nice One Nails

They say they are open at 10 but weren’t open,
i had booked an appointment at 10: 30 for some bridemaids as we have a wedding to attend.
The place was closed.
I do not recommend going to this place.

Been coming here ever since I moved to Newmarket and wouldn’t go anywhere else.

The girls here are very nice and some will make small chit chat with you. They do speak to each other in their own tongue at times (sounds like muttering under breath) and I sometimes mistake them as talking to me haha. Fairly clean place, although I do wish they sanitized more after each customer.

I usually come for a pedicure with shellac, as well as Solar Gel refills. The pedicure is always nice, just let them know if the water is to your liking and how you like your toes to be done. The massage chairs are okay if you’re into that. With the gel refill, I find it depends on which girl you get. Although all are decent, some are better then others at shaping/designs. Always okay to help you with designs, make changes if you don’t like how it’s going, and will give you their opinion if you ask. Aby has always been nice to have as she does a great job with pedicures, and Emily did a wonderful job on my nails the last time I came.

Make sure to get a stamp card if you go often!

First time to this place and Emily was amazing! She knows what she’s doing. The pedicure and manicure were both great! Will be a regular now on

First time going there for two new sets.
Long time is a bit long because they were short on staff but it was the last hour of the day.
Place is very clean and nice. Staff are great and clean job is done, they make sure you get what you want before leaving.
They charge $5 for shape but comes with free Shellac nail polish which makes up for it.
Will definitely go back for the amazing job.

They charge for shellac nail polish removal even though they are the ones that applied the nail polish. All of the other nail salons I've been to never charge for nail polish removal it was always free if they were the ones that provide the manicure. Never going back, sticking with Curio's at the Upper Canada Mall.

The best nail salon I've ever been to! Employees are so nice and welcoming! They do such a great job and take their time with each service they provide so that you are satisfied with your service. Definitely worth the money. The inside is also very clean and the atmosphere of the place is amazing. Highly recommend:)

Love love love! I went to this salon a couple weeks ago for the first time and I think I found my new salon. Walked in and was greeted immediately, everyone was wearing masks. I came to the desk where there was a sneeze guard and an automatic hand sanitizer machine. Was asked to wash my hands and then fill out a COVID form, while I did that, they completed a temperature check. After that I was escorted to the back to select my color and to the pedicure area. Each of the pedicure stations had plastic screens between them and a sneeze guard in front of them. It was like I was in my own little bubble. I felt incredibly safe the entire time I was there, all of the attendees and guests were wearing masks, the attendees wore gloves the entire time and changed them between service. They were so kind and I've been raving about them ever since!

Terrible experience coming out of covid lockdown. Spent $100!? ! For what? Extra $5 covid fee attached to services which I can understand but the expertise and ability of staff is underwhelming.leaving much to be desired.will definitely not be going back or recommending this place to anyone!

Giving it a one star because I like the colour of the polish. Had a manicure. I don't like to leave bad reviews however, the service equated to a colour change and a poor one at that. No soaking and proper grooming of the nail - second hand barely got a go over with the cuticle tool, no lotion or even hint of hand massage. The nail polish application was horrible - looks like I'm two weeks into a polish change - didn't go near cuticle or bother to cover on the sides. This was probably worse manicure I've ever had. Won't go back.

Love love love my nails! Their customer service is impeccable and the spa is super clean. Friendly staff and attentive No wait time. They have a guarantee on your nails. I have to say it was refreshing to have such a great experience. This is definitely my new spot to get my nails done! I was extremely impressed and will be back!

I got into town for work and needed my nails done immediately. Owner and employees were very friendly and the atmosphere was very positive. Nice One Nails is very clean and styled well. Everyone does a great job of attending to every client. Overall, this place is my new favorite nail salon here in East Gwillimbury.

I think they overcharged me for my solar nail refill, I paid $56 plus $5 tip that I believe it's too much for refill only.

Being my first time here, I had a great experience. Often, I have been to several nail salons in which I do not feel comfortable with or does not look very clean and inviting. I can say I have now found my nail spot. The location was very clean, very nice and I felt very comfortable and relaxed. My nail tech that did my nails, was awesome. She took her time and was careful that my nails came out great! I would definitely go back to this place.

Worth the money and time to spend. They did perfect, they have some designs that other salon doesnt have. I come here once in two week i really love this place and feels very comforable to me, thos is my favorite place forever.

Always love my nails when I get them done here! The ambiance here is great and comfortable. This place has the best mix of affordable pampering. They offer some very reasonable prices for amazing quality services. Everyone here is super friendly and I've never felt like I was being judged. Love my nails every time I visit Nice One Nails. The service is good and so is the quality. It's super clean and everyone here is so talented and sweet! Very attentive and friendly. I have small hands with narrow small nail, which means I get cut a lot when they file my nails. My tech is careful and very detailed. She takes her time to make sure my nails are perfect with a pain free experience. I've recommended this place to so many of my friends. I can't say enough good things about this place!

I absolutely love Nice One Nails! Very nice, very relaxing, very reasonably priced, and the total pampering experience. Everyone is so nice and friendly. They are providing my service were very nice, and did a fantastic job. You definitely get your money's worth when you go there. Nice One Nails kept the conversation going in a very natural and comfortable fashion. Great quality at a reasonable price. For background, I've had mani/pedis before, but usually once or twice a year for special occasions (not a regular occurrence). This experience may have changed that!

This is my favorite spot in the city. Had a wonderful experience with my nail design request here. They had never done this before but managed to get it done quickly and beautifully. Always leave with a perfect mani/pedi. I am very picky about my nails and I never have any complaints! Great customer service!

This place is amazing! I forgot how much of a difference a really good pedicure can make. Meticulous attention to cuticles, thorough scrubbing - I took a picture before the polish. Products are great, definitely "gentle" but effective. The space is calming, mellow music and hushed tones. Highly recommend!

Thank goodness for Nice One Nails! I called last minute (30 minutes before my desired time) and they were able to accommodate me to get my nails done before our engagement shoot today. I had done my nails myself last night but they got all wrecked overnight.
The team helped choose and suggest a color that would look nice with my ring and outfits that I would be wearing. My gel mani was done perfectly and timely for my makeup appointment. It didn't feel rushed but was efficient! Thank you

Very good! They have several extra steps some nail salons don't do. Also very friendly! They took their time, paid attention to detail, and provided excellent service. The finished product looks great.

Quick, affordable, and great quality. I came for the first time today to get a gel manicure and I absolutely loved my experience. My nails that was ruined by people from previous nail salons and the color and the nail turned out perfect. I loved the pedicure too. Definitely coming back here!

My first time in this salon and defiantly I won’t go again. Not that nice and clean and not friendly staff, I asked for special design shellac,
And defiantly they are not professionals.

I had a horrible experience at this salon. This was my first time here so I called and booked an appt. Upon entering they seemed to be busy.so I stood there waiting to be acknowledged. I eventually sat down and waited.and waited.and waited. I was told not every technician could do fake nails so after about 40 minutes I finally started. Usually getting new tips takes me just over an hour. This girl did it in about 45 minutes. At NO point was I told to wash my hands like other salons. She just brushed the dust off and started painting.

Worst nail salon I have ever been too. If you get the gentleman doing nails make sure you ask for someone else. All I wanted was a shellac pedicure and it was as though he had no idea what he was doing. The polish he applied was all hard and in clumps and he proceeded to squirt some thinner into the bottle. Well.that went so poorly because the colour became uneven. Don’t waste your time here!

Salon doesnt clean their tools after being used on another client. The tech that did my nails didnt clean them probably and cut my skin around my nails.

I wouldn't recommend going there.
