Recently ordered their stew chicken lunch special and I don’t know if they changed chef or the ingredients but it’s 10x better than the previous ones I have had.

Always love the food. I miss the Victoria Park supermarket grew up visiting their and knowing Vincent God rest his soul. Now I see Danny still and all the lovely men and woman who run the markham and finch location.

This place is way too overpriced for the staff, ambience and quality of food, I think it's the new Chiney management - de gyal pon di cash neva know what happn and tek so long fi get service, the food doesn't taste the way it used to, mans used to walk to niceys on foot in the coldest winter storms, now me gan avoid dis place at all cost.

Picked up oxtail and side of jerk chicken for takeout

Oxtail was tender but lacking flavour. The portion size was pretty good

Jerk chicken was baked, not a big fan of that and need some more spices

Ordered beef patties and coco bread. Patties were barely warm let alone hot. Coco bread was rough and old, all this to wait 10 minutes.

I bought some pea soup. It was more like salted water with hardly any provisions. I had to water it done cause the salt was so strong It had a few spinner dumpling and carrots and some beef. No flavour, I was so disappointed. Their soup use to be so good. I can’t spend my money and not enjoy the quality of the food. Can’t spend my money to get high blood pressure

Order jerk chicken meal, stew chicken meal, and fried chicken meal. Portion was big and price was decent. The cons is that it lacked gravy, the stew chicken was very hard and had very little sauce. They use frozen vegetable (carrot, peas corn and green beans. It's very mediocre. Staff wad very friendly.

The curry goat meal was DELICIOUS!

Their portions are good and for a decent price.

Amazing food, a wide range of option on the menu which is amazing but one thing that disappoints me is the customer service. The woman working in the front don’t seem quite happy, they’re very rude and don’t smile at all. Always take pride in what you do and treat this place of work as if it’s your own business. A kind gesture doesn’t make anyone less of a person. Thanks to the kitchen staff that stay consistent with their service always coming out on time.

Great staff and always serve with a smile (you can tell even when they have a mask on!) The food is super tasty and the portions are filling to say the least.

Outside of my first time ever seeing spinners in oxtail or steamed green giant-like vegetables and near perfectly cubed 3cm pork pieces.the food tastes great. Recommend you stop here for caribbean food if in the area. You can order ahead and pickup via drive thru

Authentic Jamaican meals served here. Everything from the most popular breakfast items like ackee & saltfish and steamed callaloo to the hefty lunch and dinner 'must haves' like fried chicken, oxtail and curried goat— all done right. They even get the sweet treats like the rum cake right. All in all, the place also has a general good vibe. This has remained the same visit after visit. I definitely recommend.

An institution in Scarborough. Literally been going to Niceys for decades. More expensive than it used to be but portions are generous and the food is excellent. Can't say enough good things about this place!

Always fresh, but not worth walking a snow storm for this place has gotten significantly more busy because of the new media hype so the wait time and service level has gone down tremendously

The Jerk Chicken and festival were so tasty and filling. It reminds me of when I was a kid back in the Finch and Victoria park area. Happy to know the business is still around and still provide tasty food that me and my family enjoy.

I USED TO ENJOY NICEYS, WHEN THEY WERE AT VP AND FINCH. NOW I'M JUST DISAPPOINTED I DON'T KNOW WHO THE CHEF IS BUT I ORDERED A LARGE OXTAIL PAID MY MONEY. AND THE MEAT WAS SOO TOUGH I DIDN'T EVEN FINISH THE MEAL. WORST I PAID OVER $20 AND THEY COULDN'T EVEN GIVE PEOPLE COLESLAW I GOT MIXED VEGETABLES LIKE WHAT NO FRILL SELLS FOR $2. THE ONLY THING THAT WAS COOKED AND FRESH WAS THE RICE. THE ONLY REASON I'M COMPLAINING IS BECAUSE THEIR FOOD IS NOT CHEAP AND MINE WAS NOT COOKED PROPERLY. DEFINITELY NOT FRESH.

Had to visit this place since it's video during the blizzard went viral. Tried the Curry Goat and yes, well worth it!

Live in Windsor and it's worth the 4 hour drive, chicken roti is amazing and homemade carrot juice, mmmmmmm

My new favorite spot! So far I have tried the jerk chicken, curry chicken, and salt fish, and oh my goodness it's made with love. It's a cool environment, everyone that works there has a super cool vibe and I love it. Keep it up guys!

Got the jerk chicken sandwich. Which was served on coco buns which were very soft and light.jerk chicken had earthy flavours and coleslaw was creamy.
Only suggestion I can say maybe coleslaw should be shredded instead of finely chopped.so it crunchy as well.

Food is good but service is trash. Pre-ordered a meal at 3pm to pickup at 6pm.had to wait there until 6: 50pm and guests were waiting outside my house. But that aside, the lady behind the counter was rude and showed attitude to the customers. I can testify that there was no rude customer, only rude employee.

Nicey’s never disappoints! Their food is well seasoned and good portions for the value. The oxtail gravy is. Oxtail is fall off the bone and tender! A must try!

You just can't go wrong with this place. Food is always hot and nice. Customer service is fairly good. You get a good amount of food for what you're buying. My go to is always the fried chicken with oxtail gravy on white rice. This location is one of the better Caribbean food places I've been too.

Authentic Jamaican cuisine. First time client, but will always return. The food is simply delicious.

Great Jamaican Food! We moved out of town, so we make it a destination to hit whenever we can.
Thank goodness that they are open later than most other restaurants.

Very good curry goat. Update they no longer serve coleslaw with meal. Staff member just says no more coleslaw but failed to mention that you can get it as a side. Also only creamy coleslaw is available.

Authentic Jamaican food at Niceys! We ordered online to pick up at the takeout window which was very convenience and easy.

I enjoyed the curry goat as well as the fried dumpling and festival (similar to a doughnut). Also tried the homemade Sorrel (Hibiscus drink) which is refreshing.

Very delicious! Will come back to try more new food.

Had an amazing time at the Carnival Flavors event and the pan jerk was very tasty! Great variety of deserts, environmentally safe packaging. 5*

I had got the jerk chicken with rice peas, chicken noodle. My daughter currie chicken roti. Tasted really good. The staff were very polite. We'll definitely go back.

We travelled far and we supported this business before but their customer service was poor and rude and when we made the travel all the way back home we realized there's was absolutely no gravy, she didn't care to take care
Of Our order and as a result I wasted my time and energy to go there.

The pan chicken combo/festival was fresh. Chicken was excellently seasoned and moist. The customer service was good and the atmosphere was pleasant, clean and neat. Sadly, they sold out of alot of the options we wanted, but that's a good reflection of the food quality.

Not happy with the service because if you give specific instructions on your order, via the online order system.
Then why is it that they never follow the written instructions and then you get home to find things missing from the order 05.07.2021.

PLUS the waitress at the window is very rude and very abrasive I will not go back there for anything.

First time going to Niceys. The curry goat was extremely tasty and the portion was more than enough! Would definitely go back and I highly recommend!

Excellent food. Excellent customer service. GREAT PORTION SIZES. My only wish is that the stew peas and red peas soup had pigtail in it. Either way it's cool

Had the oxtail. Best I've had in a long time good portions for the Price. If your jamaican a true taste of home not a bank braker not small portions

Amazing tasting food at great prices. The portions could be a little bigger but the taste makes you forget all about that.

My visit here started with me wanting good Jamaican or Caribbean food. I saw this spot was close and so I decided to give it a shot. I am glad I did, as it did not disappoint. I had the fried chicken with rice and peas, gungo peas soup and a curry goad roti. Everything did UP! (it was all really GOOD lol) Mi already a look fwd (i am already looking fwd) to going back. The food na (wont) disappoint you or make u regret coming. They mean it when they said the food is good, cheap and fast. A my place this now (this is my new spot). Take it from me, you wont regret the visit.

One of my buddies and I wanted to grab some Carribean food and we had one of the best fresh Jamaican patties and Jerk Chicken sandwiches ever in Scarborough. A nice and smooth drive-thru during COVID-19 and the customer service is outstanding! Gotta try this place out!

Nicey's is possibly the top 3 Jamaican food spot in the GTA - until further notice. The dishes remain simple while holding the complexity in flavours that we know to be true when it comes to Jamaican cuisine. If you go hear, get some beef patties in coco bread. Also, their oxtail is a must try.

The only weird thing is their location. Finch and Markham Road.

Nicey's has always been my go too place for authentic Jamaican, Caribbean, and West Indian food.

Amazing, tasty, scrumptious, superb customer services, friendly.shall I say more? Order o line prior to arrival is the best option and saves you time.

Asked for a beef patty and they had me wait 4 minutes, turns out they were microwaving it. A Carribean restaurant microwaving their expensive patty is uncalled for. My local convenient store puts out better quality.

Good consistent. But some employees should not be in the take out window not very welcoming I come often and have never gotten a decent hello

I eat here a lot since I work right next to it. I like how the service is always great and they keep the place neat regularly. Pricing is affordable and they serve large portions.

Would certainly recommend trying out this place. Exceptional character, tasty food, awesome service. Keep up the good work.

My go to place for my Friday and weekend feast. Goat soup is always great. Have to get there early or it is finished. Escovitch fish is always on point. Jerk pork is a must.

My favourite place to get Jamaican food. Always my go to. I have NEVER ordered food here that wasn't delicious. It just sucks that delivery through uber eats is no longer an option.

They offer an awesome variety of delicious food. I loved eating here. The employees are always kind, pricing is fair and the spot is always kept clean.

Poor customer service. Long wait. Good food. The cashier needs training on customer service. Especially towards Jamaicans which is so sad.

I admire this restaurant! They prepare awesome dishes, they have a rich menu, The cook in that place is a professional, I love a lot trying all their dishes. The dishes are consistently fresh, the attitude towards the visitors is efficient. I frequently visit this restaurant and I was never discontended. I highly recommend it.

Last night was the first time we visited this restaurant. But It is obviously not the last. We had a good time with the generous service, with the excellent cuisine and booze and with the comfortable charge. We will surely go back there soon.
