I called this company for pricing and availability and the owner, James attended my house personally He told me his truck charge was $130. He was at my house less than half an hour and only checked my electrical panel. He did not look at the two rooms in my house that had no power.
When he left he said he'd send someone back the next day and the second truck charge would be another $130.
So, red flags waving due to the second truck charge I contacted another company who were able to come right away. Their electrician was in and out of my house in under forty minutes and the problem was rectified.
Imagine, this. I have just received an invoice from Nicholson Electrical Services who bumped up the truck charge to $150 and added an $85 cancellation fee. He didn't explain to me that there were cancellation fees when I asked.
What an attempt at a money grab.
The electrical company that solved my issue were thorough and only charged $80. No truck charge.
Buyer beware. Zero stars.

We have dealt with Nicholson Electric for several years at 2 different houses. James and his team are always quick to respond to any request I have for service or questions I have had along the way. The work is always done professionally and quickly and the team cleans up after themselves. Service and work is top notch. Estimates have always matched work completed, with exception of the additions of any work I have added in during the process, however those costs were discussed in advance. I would and have recommended Nicholson to friends and family and will use them again!

James was very responsive and accommodating with some last minute timing changes on my end.

I've worked with Nicholson Electrical Services in both my personal and work life. Most recently, I needed a wired doorbell camera installed; Nicholson got back to me quickly, their prices were very reasonable, and James even followed up the next day to make sure I'd managed to get the doorbell programmed. When I said I was having difficulty connecting it to my home WiFi, he suggested an extender. I appreciated the follow-up and extra advice-I would have bought a whole new WiFi router if he hadn't suggested the extender.

Very happy with the service from Nicholson Electric. We were moving and had questions about the wiring on a house we were considering purchasing. James took the time to address our concerns and advise us. We hired him as well to update a few electrical items in our home before we listed our house. He was on time, courteous, and did great work.
