Nicol Bleach Laundromat

Arrived in a hurry to get all my laundry done at once, loaded the big machines and started them only to find that out of 20 plus machines; only two others were not out of service. Had to wait until those cycles were done to do the rest…should have just done it at home….

Only two washing machines work, but they don’t have certain functions. The rest all have out of order signs taped to them.
What a disappointment. Used to be an amazing laundromat when previous owners were here.

More than 90% of the machines are out of service. I came here a year ago, and the situation was pretty much the same. Poorly managed

Came here because it was open late. What a waste of time. 20 out of 23 washers are broken—10 out of 18 dryers out of service. How do you run a business when all of your revenue generators are dead.

No hot water - evem when you pay extra. Dont use either large machines at back they do not wash at all. Change machine ate my $20 owner will not refund & there is a camera pointed at the change machine. Only 2 washing machines work. Front door lockes 10 minutrs before closing. Wifi is very slow. Vending machine is broken. Two phone calls to the owner and my messages have not been returned.no phone number to call on site to get money back from broken machines or change machine.called number advertised by Google - no answer after hours and no voice mail.had to call during business hours and to this date the attendant will not refund me my money even though there are cameras everywhere. The open sign is always on even if the front door is locked.

Currently only 3 machines working, 2 of which are the quad loads. Every time I go another machine is down so 1000% do not go here. Used to be great when it was properly maintained.

Did my own laundry. More than 80% of washers and dryers were out of order. The big load washer I was using got stuck on final spin and I hoped it was just the display of minutes but the machine actually paused so when it didn’t move on final spin and kept saying 2 minutes remaining I had to check as no visible water or turning…some of the clothes were drippy and no way I was paying again. Luckily the one big load dryer handled my mostly spun load. It says open till midnight which was why I went. They shut the lights out at ten to so I had to finish removing my dried items in the dark and then rudely asked to vacate at 12 sharp. I got there at 10: 15 so it’s not like I was trying to go slow. I was forced to remain till midnight due to their machines (and lack thereof)! The setting is beyond dumpy: limited uncomfortable seating, no AC no washroom. Vending machine for drinks didn’t work. The only good thing is the change machine worked…. In their favour not mine. I absolutely would not use this laundromat again nor recommend it to anyone looking for a laundromat.

Manager was incredibly rude. I was there a little past closing, because one of the washing machines took almost twice as long as it was supposed to, and she came over yelling at me and threatening to call the cops. Even when I apologized and tried to explain what happened, she was still very rude. Will never be back

I came here to do a load of laundry. I paid $7.75 for a quad load washing machine. Upon the end of cycle I pulled out my clothes and they were soaked. The washer did not spin out excess water at all took myself and my daughter over half hour to hand ring the entire load so I could attempt to dry it properly. This is the worst laundromat I have ever used and will never use it or recommend ever.

I needed an extra-large dryer for a twin comforter at 10: 30 pm and this laundromat was the only one still open in the city. It was clean and the change machine was working. I did notice that several machines were out of service but I am very grateful that I was able to use your oversized dryer! Very reasonable too at $1.50 for 18 minutes. Thank you!

With 24 washing machines on premises and 16 out of order, this is the WORST laundromat I have EVER used. 6 of the 18 dryers were also out of order
The working washing machines were dirty as we're the floors with laundry soap all over the tops of the machines.
Years ago this was a well maintained establishment.
Use the laundromat beside Rombys instead!

UPDATE. I was there on Family Day. Only 7 washers were operable, which I would estimate to be 1/3 of all. Of those 7, two were the "quadruple load" machines at $7.75 each! Thankfully, I was the only customer. Also, their washroom was closed, and nowhere in the plaza has one or allows you to use it. You have to go to the gas station down the street.

Had to run to do some drying late (11pm) on the Sunday night prior to Victoria Day as my dryer stopped heating up. Got there at 11: 20 pm and yes they were open. Place seemed clean, although I did notice quite a few washers were marked out of service. The wifi worked well. I wouldn't sit on the stools along the folding tables as they all seemed un-sturdy. Other than those two things, I had no issues at all. The lady came in who was there to close and well quite pleasant with us. As for their pricing, I can't honeatly say how it compares to other laundromats as again, I have my own washer and dryer at home. The dryers do take 75 cents to start, and I think I put in another 50 cents per machine to get i think I received 12 mins. The dryers were quite large and did the job well. They also offer dry cleaning services apparently, and surprisingly, they had a note stating they would be open their regular hours on the actual Victoria Day holiday Monday.

Came into this laundromat today because the one my apartment is getting serviced! I should have known better when you walk in and 3/4 of the machines say out of service. So there were 2 machines not in use. I loaded the one up with my towels inserted my money and then it came up with a code on the display screen. One of the other clients came over and said that you have to play with the door to get the machine to work.
I took my other load over to the monster size machine (that’s all that was left). Put in my $7.75 and started my wash. Went and sat in the car until the laundry cycle was done. Started taking my clothes out and I had to wring the water out of them! I had to put it into the machine that I had just emptied and treasure them.
The insult to all of this is someone mentioned for me to go see Kim at the wooden nickel (pub next door). She could be found there. Well she came and looked. Hume’s and hawed. Then said that maybe the person before me messes it up! Seriously? She didn’t even put a sign up to say out of order. She said maybe the person before me had nuts and screws in their pocket? Or maybe the filter is blocked up? What the heck!
User beware…. This place isn’t like it used to be!

Came to help my niece with her laundry and 3/4 of the machines DO NOT WORK! Don't waste your time coming here. Nasty owner came in and VERY VERY RUDE to my 5 yr old great niece because she didn't have a mask on at the time (no one else in this hole except for us because machines all down). First and LAST time I will ever be here!

Upon arrival i had my young daughter with me, mynmom and aunt showed up to her fold after. Within minutes, Kim, the owner was bsolutely Rudyard confrntationl and made my entire family left for me to do it alone, with severe nerve
d amage in my spine its hard. She rudely looked at my child and mentioned about a mask, even though she is 8, & wouldn't have been therelong. After seeing i wasn't getting up and ding as she DEMANDED, she stormed off in her car. Will never return. I suggest no one else do. Not to menton every one of the machines was out of order besides 4 of them. Disgusting. Mold in the big loaders. Im done.

The have at least 9 of their washers and dryers that have been out of service for repairs for more than a year. Likely pushing 2yrs for some of them.
Used to be the best, cleanest and most reasonably priced laundry mat around. Not any more!

Nice space and pretty good machines but would it kill them to come in and clean the floors a few times a day? Absolutely gross with excessive amounts of hair everywhere.

Says they have wifi but really it doesn’t work at all. Overpriced for what they offer. They claim the “Giant Loaders” can hold 4 loads but the woman who works there only allows you to put in about two. I’ve seen many people shove the machine full but when she came over to my basket she saw a had two sweaters and two paints along with a few socks and said I couldn’t put the rest in and said I should use a double loader for the rest. Obviously just trying to get me to spend more money. It was ridiculous and will never come back again. Awful service.

Great place to get some laundry done, most of their machines are massive and well priced against my apartment complex laundromat.
