I was very pleased by Ali's service - he came to my property promptly (on a long weekend no less) to measure and help me choose blinds. Received the contact details for Nifty Blinds through a new construction condo I had purchased. Ali was efficient in getting back to me and very quick to arrange a time for a consultation. After placing the order I was told the blinds would take 3 weeks to arrive and they were installed in 2.5. They look wonderful and fit my windows perfectly. Purchased zebra blinds from here and I am satisfied with the quality of work done. I chose them over selecblinds.ca or blindstogo is I didn't want the hassle of fixing the blinds myself. They came over to take exact measurements and delivered flawless work on the committed date. The only parameter that I had to trade off was the lifetime warranty that blindstogo provides for the mechanism against these folks providing a 2 year warranty. Overall satisfied with their work.

We had a good experience with Nifty Blinds. Great in unit service and timing, Ali was great to work with. The look of the blinds are better than we expected. The only thing that kept them from a 5 star rating was the fact there was a mistake in 1 set of the blinds and they had to be redone. However they were pretty quick about replacing them and getting the new ones installed. Overall a good experience.

Ali was fantastic to work with throughout the process of getting our blinds. I had a lot of questions and concerns because these blinds were for my first condo and he easily navigated everything I asked of him. He gave me great advice as well regarding which type of blinds would be best suited for my space and what I needed out of these window coverings. The installation process was very smooth as well. He was able to quote me an extremely competitive price with rough measurements and then he was very flexible in coming to our unit for the first appointment. At this appointment, he provided samples of the window coverings we discussed so I was able to compare colours to the space and pick one that worked perfectly. He took the time to measure all of the windows himself and I must say he was so accurate because the final product is more than what I expected. We ordered just before the holidays, so it took a few weeks before the blinds were ready for installation, but again, he was still very prompt in booking our installation appointment. I wasn’t there myself, but my partner said that Ali displayed true diligence throughout installing the blinds. At one point, on the very last set of blinds, he hit a snag in which the blinds were sitting a bit crooked. However, he kept working at getting them perfect and eventually found a solution to making them fall just as straight as the others. He was also very attentive to the requests of my partner; my partner asked if he could place the bead chain on the other side of the window, away from our balcony door to avoid it getting caught in the door, and Ali gladly obliged to the request. I’m very impressed with his commitment to ensuring the customer is happy. I had blackout zebra blinds installed. They aren’t 100% blackout due to the inherent construction of zebra blinds and how they function, but they are still quite effective in blocking out light, which is great for a downtown condo. I also love the fact that you can still offset the panels to allow some light in if you don’t want the space to be completely dark. And, of course, the blinds look so sophisticated. They actually make our tiny 461sqft unit look bigger, which is great! I 100% recommend consulting with Ali to get any of your window covering needs accomplished! Thank you, Ali!
