Nights Inn Owen Sound

Horrible customer service experience. Unable to speak with anyone beyond Sam the manager who keeps hanging up phone on me. Did not stay at this hotel but was charged for one nights stay. Hotel removed other members of the party that checked in. My room was revoked without me ever checking in or staying in this hotel. I was arriving very late 2am and arrived to no key, no room, no one to speak to and was still charged. Although I was not present during any of this issues nor was I removed or spoken to by anyone from this management team in regards to being now unable to stay in room. Left me to sleep in my car at 3am. This gentleman also entered the room of a sleeping teammate who slept through the issues and was not removed during the issues. Leaving her feeling unsafe in hotel and was told too bad you cant cancel. Disgusting! Unable to come to any resolution with Sam as he just hangs up. Forced to dispute the charges as clearly this is how the hotel makes their money! Read other reviews on different sites all say same thing! Police also stated this man has issues every weekend.

Very nice place got it for very best price in the town. Front desk was very helpful and nice. Will surely visit again.

Friendly staff, clean rooms and bedding, great location, good price, available parking and barbeque amenities.
We booked two rooms for 7 persons. Room and washroom were clean and had all necessary items. We parked our cars in front of our room and had access to our cars anytime.each room had chairs outside the room and we enjoyed nice weather and quiet place outside of our room. Also, benches and barbeque amenities were available that was amazing. In overall, we had a great time and I totally recommend this hotel.

This place is in main Owen Sound and well located.
The person at the reception was friendly and welcoming.
There is no restaurant onsite available but a Tim Hortons is next door.
They do not provide breakfast and neither have a pool.
More importantly it is a safe place for kids and family - the guests are not trashy and cheap.
Overall it's a place you can safely recommend to others.

It is a budget hotel so there aren't a lot of amenities but having said that it was clean, quiet and everything worked. It felt safe. We were close to the downtown area.

Comfortable, clean room with bathroom. Located near the center of town. We were a bit earlier than the official check-in time however the reception person said it was ready so no problems letting us check-in. Thank you

The room was clean. All necessary things were available at the room which i didnt found available in many other 3/4 star hotels even. Like-a little fridge, microwave oven & coffee maker and other necessary things were there too. Overall a good motel experience. You will get tim hortons near the motel. Many other restaurants/cafes are also available near motel. One night cost was around $110/night.

Beautiful room. My husband and I had the king room with spa tub. We went on a adventure weekend and ended up in owen sound.

The owner/manager was very friendly. Rooms were spotless and no real issues at all.

They left the heater off to save on power before I got there, so it took some time to warm the room up but no big deal.

It's a bit of a walk to get anywhere but doable, solid place.

The Nights Inn was very clean and the service was top notch. They had a microwave and mini fridge in room and a small coffee maker. You could stay awhile and reheat your leftovers if needed. The parking lot maintained well especially during winter and all walkways cleared by staff. Very respectful staff and management very polite and hospitable.

Didn’t have the best experience here. Would not recommend for a vacation! We had to book a place last minute, and saw the good reviews here. As long as it’s clean right. But unfortunately, the owner (reception guy) was rude, this was the worse part of our trip.

I like how the immediate response is not feel sorry that we had a bad experience, but denied that we stayed and ask for proof?

Nights Inn is a terrific motel in Owen Sound. The rooms are lovely and clean and nicely put together. Near to downtown Owen Sound. They have friendly and helpful staff.

Great place to stay, very clean, we are so satisfied, comfortable beds, about a 25min drive to sauble beach, staff very friendly, will definately stay here again. Thank You.

Had a great stay at Nights Inn in Owen Sound for 3 nights. It was clean, quiet, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Would go back for sure!

Do your self a favour and don’t stay here. Unless you want to be disrespected, lied, and robbed of your money by the owner. When we cancelled 48 hours (as stated on policy) he PROMISED us 50% money back and then denied it after he got an occupancy for the room. Worst service ever.

Fantastic! We headed north and booked this hotel on the way not know what to expect and we were pleasantly surprised! Very reasonably priced, and clean clean clean!
Beds and pillows were comfortable, and it has everything we needed to start out trip. We checked in around 8pm and the owner was at the desk and was super friendly and helpful! Definitely would stay here again!

Wonderful stay with very clean rooms, clean linen and bathrooms, comfortable beds and awesome staff. They have BBQ gas grills for customers to use (free of charge). Travelled with my kids and the owner gave me utensils from their personal kitchen for use. Sam (the owner) was extremely courteous and respectful.

Motel bien situé autour de tout! Environ 1 heure de la péninsule, 20 de Sauble beach (plus belle plage qu’on a vu dans ce coin!) La chambre était très propre rien a dire et l’air climatisé fonctionnait très bien. Frigo et micro-onde dans la chambre. Bbq et tables à picnic à notre disposition en libre-service. Proprio a été sympathique avec nous mais faut dire qu’on était pas des clients difficiles sachant le prix payé

The owner/Manager is above and beyond. Such a humble personality. He helped us at midnight in an emergency irrespective of it was not at all his duty or responsibility. Amazing person and place!

Great motel in Owen Sound! It had everything we were looking for, and I’m really impressed with their cleaning every day. Came at a great price too! It does need to improve on wifi which was spotty, I also found the bed not the greatest, but given the price these are small things.

We really enjoyed this place; as soon as I walked in I liked it, because it was very cleaned and organized I will go back for sure because of how cleaned it was

Worst hotel or motel I've ever been in my whole life. Worst service given by the Owner himself. He was beyond rude and disrespectful to me and my friends, and when we asked him to talk to us nicely in a respectful manner as we were talking to him, he went beyond and threatened us that we intimidated him and was forcing our way on him. The only thing we asked him was that the barbecue grill was already used before us and it was dirty, both the grills, we asked nicely to him to clean just one for us as it should have been but he refused and told us to clean it ourselves. This wasn't it, we told him that it's the part of their duty to give us clean amenities told to us before we made the booking, he told us to get out. It was really humiliating because we were almost 600 kms from outlr home and this was the treatment we received, one of my friend even cried of it. Really bad place to be in all of canada I've ever been and i will suggest people not to go there.

NEVER, ever stay in this hotel. The owner is literally one of the rudest men I have EVER met in my life, disrespectful and not accommodating. Zero out of 5 starts in my opinion and he completely ruined my time in Owen Sound.

Their refund policy is appalling. We could not go on our holiday due to Covid-19 and a new stay at home order, and they refused to refund us our first night (even though we contacted them 24 hours in advance). I will never stay here or recommend this place to anyone. They should be ashamed.
