Finally got taste and quality of authentic Pakistani food. We ordered Biryani, Nihari, and Bihari Booti for a family get-together and taste was so amazing that everyone asked about the cook. Good to mention that they provided generous food quantity.
The takeout was efficient and the menu is quite simple. The Haleem was just okay and the seekh kebabs were barely passable. The bihari kebabs were really good though. Haleem portion was quite small. I'll probably give another try to other items just because the bihari kebabs were great.
I felt overcharged for the amount of food. Ordered Haleem and Nihari. Food quality was good but taste was nothing out of the ordinary (though they certainly charge like it is). Give it a try if you’re curious - it wasn’t a total waste, but frankly I was really disappointed.
Finally, an authentic Pakistani spot in Ottawa. I've only tried the nihari and I highly highly recommend it. It's very flavorful, the meat is tender, and it's just the right amount of spicy (and not toooo spicy iykyk). Although $20 may seem a bit pricy, we need to remember that we're not in GTA where there's enough demand to reduce costs, this is Ottawa. So we Desis need to support this local business so that we all can continue to get some zabardast nihari ️ The oil in the nihari might seem a bit much but the real Pakistani nihari is just that way. So don't fear the oil, just enjoy it
Have heard wonderful things about the flavours here! Tried it for the first time today and got the Nihari with Naan. Wow! Truly authentic flavour. Absolutely delicious. Had the pleasure of meeting with the owner who is genuine and hard working which clearly reflects in the flavours and quality of the food. Can’t wait to try the Biryani this weekend along with Bihari kebabs. Rare gem of Excellent quality Pakistani food in Ottawa.
I don’t really get to Ottawa as much as I’d like. But when I do, I always stop here on the way in or on the way out. I love the rice and the chicken. I’m not sure what the spices are but they work well together, and good size portions For your buck $$
The struggle to find authentic Karachi Nihari ends here:) so glad that Adnan bahi chose Ottawa to introduce his best creation. A must-try! I also tried Behari kebabs too good
Amazing food! Haleem and Bihari kabab in particular were so good. We didn’t get to try the biryani this time but looking forward to trying that next time we visit Ottawa. Also, the owner was very nice and helpful - our car battery died in the parking lot and he helped jump start it for us despite being so busy. Thank you once again!
It was an super experience to try Nihari meals, especially Haleem and Nihari special meal it's really very delicious and I would highly recommend everyone to try this restaurant and finally we have have a super delicious Pakistani restaurant in Ottawa, I'm definitely going back as soon as possible to try the rest of the menu
I called the restaurant and made a special request to have food prepared early and they were so gracious enough to provide fresh food for me. The food tasted amazing.it was beyond our expectations. Definitely the best-tasting Pakistani food in Ottawa! The taste, the quality and the customer experience all deserve 5 stars! Can not wait to try their biryani!
Enjoyed the chicken biryani. With the right amount of spice and succulent chicken pieces, it was just perfect. The rice wasn't oily like I find at other restaurants, which is a bonus. Can't wait to try the haleem and kebobs next time.
We bought Nihari, Biryani and Bihari kabab from here. It was extremely delicious, fresh and spice level was perfect. I am glad that we have these hidden gems in Ottawa for Pakistani food. Highly recommended.
We ordered nihari and naan for a small family gathering and it was fantastic 5/5. Everyone loved it. Quantity was adequate and spice levels were also balanced. We will definite order again
Food is excellent. Perhaps the best nihari in Ontario. Bihari kebab was out of this world. The reason I did not give 5/5 was because the timings of the store seem haphazard at times. Additionally, prices are quite high.
