Best poutine I've had in the city. Real cheese curds, gravy not too salty, good cheese ratio, good portion, reasonably priced. $10.50 for classic w/ regular amount of cheese.
First time experiencing poutine and it was amazing. Did not taste overly salty, gravy was savory, cheese curds were very fresh, and the jerk chicken poutine (pictured) was delicious all-around.
AmazIng poutine and service! Everything tasted delicious and fresh. Crispy fries, tasty gravy and squeaky cheese curds. I got he smoked meat poutine with double cheese. Highly recommend!
Best poutine I've had in toronto.the cheese is on some sort of higher level that I don't understand but its amazing.i always get double cheese traditional!
edit: i have learned his name is marc.marc is a really cool dude
Afte trying so many poutine around GTA and far and wide. Finally, someone who serves real squeaky cheese from Quebec and the gravy is extremely close to the one I always eat in Montreal. I opted for the double cheese. This will become my go to now.
The best place to have vegetarian poutine. The chips are freshly made and the sauce is not made with beef stock and super tasty and amazing. The cheese curds are amazing as well. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. Me and my brother always visit during the cold months few times a year.
Lovely crispy fries, tasty gravy and the cheese just to top it off. First time trying poutine and this place came highly recommended and I can see why now!
Just a little hole in the wall which I think makes it alot more personable too
Definitely top notch Poutines. I wouldn't have a problem coming by on Sundays, but there has to be a rest day) Cheerful friendly staff (Hey Marc!) The bar is right at the top. Keep it that way
Yep: all the reviews have nailed it - this is the place to get your poutine in Toronto. Had traditional poutine with a refreshing limonada drink & I'll do it again! (1) the owner is super friendly (2) great portion size (3) made fresh (4) vegetarian gravy (5) support local
We got the traditional poutine and really enjoyed it! The cheese curds were delicious, there's an option to get extra cheese and next time I'll definitely do that!
Price is reasonable, portion size is decent, good cheese curds. However not a fan of thin cut fries with poutine. It just instantly felt like I was eating a Mc Donald's poutine. Gravy is a bit generic on the lighter side, which is good.
Nom Nom Nom Poutine deserves the ratings and reviews they received online. The fries remained nice and crisp. The gravy was quite good. I added a bacon topping on it which probably made it a tad more salty. But, overall it was a nice hearty meal and expercience.
I'm not really a fan of Poutine but I just had an intense craving for it today. I read that this is the best Poutine in town so I gave it a try.
. And I'm happy to say it lived up to expectations! The cheese curds were not rubbery like most places here and every bite was delicious. The smoked meat was also amazing.
Only wished I had it when it was piping hot. But if it's already this good for delivery, imagine how awesome it'd be when eaten immediately!
Since this was one of the highest rated poutine places around, I knew I had to try it out!
We decided to go with the Traditional Double Cheese poutine and it was great. It tasted fresh and had a good amount of cheese curds on it. I was pretty surprised that none of the cheese melted and that it had so much gravy though. The service was so lovely, as well.
I also really enjoyed the ordering experience! I love that maps integrated RITUAL into their app and I was able to order my food directly on on maps.
I have no reason to get poutine elsewhere.this is it. Not only is Marc the actual nicest guy ever, he also makes amazing poutine. The ratio of fries to gravy to cheese curds is perfect every time (for me) but if you want it extra cheesy (or extra EXTRA cheesy) you can do that too. I think I've tried almost every option on the menu now and I would recommend any and all of them. I happened to take a picture of the bacon poutine because it just looked so good and then when I was going for my first bite that cheese curd stretched so long and beautiful.it had to be captured. Thank you Marc for bringing Toronto your poutine.
It is always a treat whenever I eat here at one of the better poutine places in Toronto. It was good that they are setup to accommodate outdoor seating which works perfect for the pandemic situation. The poutine choices are varied to make every trip here an exciting new experience.
The person behind the counter was a nice man good enough to chat with us as we were ordering. He was originally from Quebec so he would know his poutine.
Amazing! Haven't had a poutine this good since living next to La Banquise in Montreal. Try the brussel sprout one, the sprouts are crispy and a perfect complement to this classic cheese curd and gravy phenomenon!
Heard this place was highly rated but I didn't find it the best poutine that I had whilst in Canada. It was a decent portion but the gravy was rather lacking in flavour.
Very good poutine at a reasonable price served quickly and in a friendly manner. Several good options to jazz it up if you want, but the basics are also great. If you would like to taste great poutine and want to be served by a very friendly owner: look no further. You have several options and the portions are rather large. Reviews say this is the best poutine in Toronto. Never had, but the traditional was awesome. Cheap and service was quick and friendly. Loved it.
