I really wanted to like it, but pizza crust was disappointing - flavourless, papery; sauce was nice however! The fettuccine nonna was also nothing to write home about. This is not a destination restaurant, if you were thinking of doing so. Also - coffee is that from a Nespresso machine.but they do have brio!

Great Place for Catering! I ordered a couple of times for different office parties, and the food was fantastic! Great service, flavourful food, packaged nicely and on time! Food portions were perfect! Would definitely recommend it if you're looking to cater!

This has gone down hill since I visited

I was a regular bit the quality has gone down hill

They’ve systematically reduced items on the menu and the service is slow

I do NOT recommend

Should be embarrassed by the 3 grains of parm for my pasta, 1/8 teaspoon at best, the pizza shrank in size, chicken sandwich had half the chicken it used to have. Don’t even offer rapini anymore. The wait staff is pleasant enough, lots of smiles, but I won’t be going there anymore. I used to talk this place up to everyone. Now I’d discourage anyone from going. What a down turn.

We love the penne ala vodka here, and the the arugala salad! They do make it a bit hard to order and turn off their phone lines when they get too busy.

Pre-pandemic Nonna was one of our favorite Italian restaurants

During coved they shifted to takeout focused model. Now they turned into a fast-food, self serve model where you order first and then go to your table.

We noticed food quality is deteriorating as well. We rarely get takeouts now.

My family has been going to Nonna's Oven for about 9 years. Pre-pandemic it was easily one of our top 3 favorite family restaurants in Markham/Richmond Hill/Stouffville. The food had big portions, the food was delicious and it had affordable pricing. The service was great and the restaurant was always packed. Any time we wanted to go to Nonna's we usually planned ahead of time so we could eat at 5: 30pm just to beat the dinner crowd.

Post-pandemic, like most restaurants the prices have gone up. But Nonna's seems to have taken it a step further than others. The portions shrank and the prices have become unaffordable. The old prices we could order two pasta's and a pizza for under $60 including tax and tip. It's close to $90 now for a meal for 4 people.

As of our last visit (September 11,2022) we found that Nonna's is no longer a restaurant, but rather a take-out place with tables. There's no table service anymore. You have to order your food at the counter. They gave us some water but never came back to refill the cups. Our table was sticky. Cutlery didn't come until we asked for it. On a Sunday night, the restaurant was empty. No other customers sitting, I guess most people had found out already that it's not an eat-in restaurant anymore.

Seriously authentic and amazingly delicious. Service is stellar. The best salad ever is the Arugula Pear Salad. Portions are big!

Dined here since it opened its doors. Wow has this place gone downhill FAST! Best Staff in the business. Best food in the business.
They have a new way of doing things which is 2 steps away from cooking your own food. The whole meal must be ordered and paid by walking to the front desk (no more wait staff for ordering). 1 single menu for a table is very frustrating for a table of 3 or more. This new way has axed the very thing we came for which the great service. I feel that I am servicing myself now. Heres a menu pick what you want, pay and get out is the new vibe.
Will not be returning again after nearly a decade of dining here. Thanks.
