Taya is a caring and compassionate dance teacher. She is very professional in her classroom instruction and as a business owner. I highly recommend her studio.

DO NOT GO HERE! I have never been in a worse situation. I had trouble registering so I went to the pole studio where it is all just one room. I was told to e-transfer her, this was a big mistake. My first class went alright, i noticed she focused on those who she called “naturally good”. I was in a pretty bad car accident a few days after the first class. I reached out and told her I would be unable to make the next 3 classes. I asked for a refund or anything else she can offer. She said no, I told her I would be okay to come to classes once I’m healed. She didn’t offer anything of that sort. She said I had signed a form saying no refunds. I asked her to send me the forms I signed because I didn’t remember it saying no refunds. She sends me a blank copy, no where did it even talk about refunds. She then says it on the page that you pay, but that page wasn’t working for me. I was told to e-transfer, meaning I was never informed of this policy nor was it ever mentioned. I see that the other poor review here it says that services were offered. I just don’t understand why it wasn’t offered to me. I am so upset and want to take this to small claims court. The reason I wasn’t aware of the refund policy was because she told me to e-transfer. I’m not even asking for a refund I’m asking to attend classes when I am healed.

The North Pole Dance Studio is so far the best in the city for me, I consider it as my 2nd home! I've started to go early in 2022 and I immediately felt safe.
Taya and her instructors are so kind and knowledgeable, they are always available to answer any of your questions and guide me throughout my pole dance journey
The studio not only offers pole dance classes but also stretching and conditioning to help you get your flexibility and gain strengths.

This studio is phenomenal! Right from the first classes you feel supported, learn quickly and are challenged. All the instructors are full of knowledge to help you look good and do some incredible moves safely. There are lots of different class time options for each level which is great to help fit in to schedules. Love this place!

I can proudly say that North Pole studio is my second home. It is a Judgmental free, clean and spacious place with a wide variety of different dancing or workout classes.
I have been watching and adoring Taya's dances and pole tricks for about a year since I discovered her page.
From the day I finally decided (that was back in 2019) to come to my first pole class I fell in love with pole fitness and with Taya - student-focused, energetic and experienced instructor who inspired me to join the poledancing sport without even knowing me.

However it was the one and only pole class for me in 2019 as shortly after I got to know that I'm pregnant with my second child. But the journey at NP did not stop here - I was feeling well enough throughout my baby bump phase to come to pregnancy safe stretching classes almost until my due date.
When covid restrictions were lifted i was finally able to return to pole clasess again. I now literally run to the studio each time as its part of my life that challenges and motivates me.
I also have to mention the strong and supportive community that NP studio has - where you always feel safe and confident.
Every teacher in the studio is caring, encouraging and disciplined.
Im extremely thankful and proud to be one of the NP studio student.

I used to go to North Pole before pandemic hit and was not sure what to do next. As soon as government approved of studios to be open I contacted a few studios and North Pole was only one with flexible schedule good attitude and generally positive. After two something years it took me a couple months to get my strength and confidence and all thanks to Taya for encouraging pushing and telling me never give up. Trust me a good location is not a good place. A good teacher IS. If you never been at North Pole dance I suggest you to come and try. If you already have a studio that you going still come and see maybe you will find something that you need.
I definitely found my workout place, my fun place, place with friends and supporters of my goals and also where I can be me without anyone judging me.

Taya is my first pole teacher, she is very personable and detailed when it comes to explaining the moves. She is energetic, and teaches class with enthusiasm. The girls at studio very supportive of each other. I enjoy coming to studio, highly recommend for anyone who is interested in pole and learning to dance on heels

It's been 5 years since i came to North Pole dance for the first time. It's a great spacious studio with a variety of classes. Every level is welcomed. Many classes for beginners. The atmisohere is very friendly and supporting. Would recommend to everybody.

Taya is an exceptional teacher. Patient, very knowledgeable, and makes each class fun! Great variety of classes and variations are always given, depending on your level. Joining Northpole was a great decision!

If anyone ever told me that I’d write this review for North Pole Dance studio, I wouldn’t believe. However, today was the day.

I joined my first class in October 2020, and instantaneously fell in love with pole dancing. Been a loyal member ever since, and today Taya, the studio owner, expelled me for the following reason.

Even though I purchased an unlimited membership package, there was always disappointment when I showed up a little late for classes. Life outside of studio doesn’t exist, apparently, no traffic and personal circumstances should stop members from being on time. Moreover, there is a $10 penalty for being 30 minutes late. Today I was helping my refugee friends from Ukraine to move to another place, and sent a note to the studio owner that I would be running late prior to my scheduled class. I did come late, 26 minutes to be exact, and was asked in front of the class to pay penalty. I would have paid it, but soon I realized there was no pole for me to exercise, as Taya gave it away to another girl. After class I decided to talk to the studio owner, and she was rudely insisting I should pay the penalty even though I wasn’t able to join the class late (class was full, there was no pole for me), so I refused to pay the $10 fine, and Taya declared the end of our relationship in front of another instructor and a few fellow students. Moreover, she didn’t allow me stay for two other classes that I signed up for in advance and proudly announced that I was leaving the studio to everyone who was standing close by.

This concludes my journey with North Pole Dance, unfortunately.

Good things happen when you try new things! Taya has made more than a fitness dance studio, she has made a second-home for strong, supportive, women and men who lift each other up. North Pole Dance has brought so much joy into my life - improving my strength, mental health, self-esteem, and sense of community. Forever grateful to be apart of the best pole dance studio is Toronto!

Taya and her staff are amazing! This isn’t just a studio, it’s a family Everyone is so uplifting and friendly.

Amazing studio that’s kept me going back consistently for the last 5 years. Taya and her team are super knowledgeable and make fitness super fun! There are a ton of different classes that really focus on all aspects of fitness including strength, cardio, and flexibility.

This is hands down the best studio in the GTA! No studios in Mississauga, Vaughan, or Toronto are at the same level or quality of teaching. North Pole studio is the real deal! Taya is a great coach, mentor, photographer, pole mom, and role model to all her students! She has a great team of teachers as well! All of them bring their own style and personality to the classes that they teach! Before coming to this hidden gem I was struggling to find a new home. Everyone was very welcoming! You come here to train but also make long-lasting friendships with dancers who are just as committed to the sport as you are. It is so worth the 40 minute commute for me. I have learned more in the past 7 months at North Pole than I have in 2 years of starting my pole journey.
Taya challenges her dancers and wants them all to succeed! I feel truly blessed to be a part of her pole family. The studio is filled with strong talented athletes and it's all thanks to her teaching! You can tell she loves what she does; her students improve so much under her love, support, and guidance. Try a class you will not be disappointed!:)

I went today for a beginners pole class and loved every moment! Taya is fun, knowledgeable and so friendly. The studio is beautiful and spacious - I am so excited to continue classes here!

North Pole is a fantastic studio with tall poles, a variety of classes at all levels, and a friendly atmosphere. The environment is fantastic for everyone from people who are just starting out in their pole journey, to experienced pole dancers who are looking for support.

Not only a great workout, a great exploration of self. Taya and her instructors have helped me reach a whole new level of self love and wonderful movements. I feel more free to express than ever before. No other pole studio that I have attended can do that.

Amazingly beautiful studio with great teachers. North Pole has the highest poles in Toronto which is amazing for competition training.

Loved it here! Was a really good workout. I had the six month membership but couldn't continue because my job gave me more hours so I never really have time to go. They offer pole classes, yoga, stretching. It's really nice here. I really recommend! Taya is amazing!
