North Toronto Endoscopy Clinic

I had Gastroscopy at this clinic earlier this year. It was way better than the one in Richmond Hill when I had colonoscopy in 2021. Some said the receptionist Helen appears as rude. In fact it’s a really fast pace clinic, she’s highly efficient and informative. I’ve never tried to leave msg but a few times I called she mostly answered the phone right away.

The Doctors (we both had Dr. A Chiu) and nurses are all very kind and professional (some even with sense of humor), the whole process was very smooth and I was well taken care of. The wait time was pretty reasonable as well.
I had such a great experience here so when it’s time for my hubby’s colonoscopy, I instantly told my family Dr this is where we preferred. Highly recommend this clinic.

I prepped for a scheduled appointment just to find out the clinic was actually closed that day. Their voicemail is always full and no one has the courtesy of giving me a call to cancel the appointment.

Tried to cancel an appointment, have been calling for the better part of the day without anyone picking up, and the voice mail box was full

I had a endoscopy check today. As a result, perfect with no problem. Special thanks to Ms Mei Ling.

I brought my mom here for her endoscopy. Check-in process was smooth. The whole procedure (including prep and rest) took about 1 hour and 30 min. My mom told me she had a pleasant experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful. She didn't feel intimidated at all to ask any question. It's a big plus to any elderly patients. My mom barely felt or noticed anything. Everything was done after a quick nap. There's no complication after.

The staff here can speak Cantonese, Mandarin and English (probably Vietnamese too? Just a guess).

I have been calling them to confirm my appointment for 3 days already, no one picks up the phone and the mail box is always full. It seems like they don't clear the mail box.

The doctors are very nice, receptionist was efficient and professional. The nurse who prepped me was kind and gentle. I would recommend this clinic highly. This is better than going to a hospital, I feel less nervous.

I called this clinic, The reception lady picked up the phone so quickly and gave me appointment for next week.she told me how to prepare to do endoscopy. I was so confused I called her back again, she so nice to answer my questions she is very nice and professional. I canceled the other clinic because those clinic only asked to leave messages and don’t know when to call you back.only this clinic always picks up phone so quickly and very nice to talk to you! Today I did Colonoscopy here. Super nice and experienced nurse and Doctor. I am scared first but they make the process super easy and painless.

I am not paid to post this review. My experience today was excellent! The reception is quick and friendly. The nurses was friendly, talkative and helpful and so nice! I had such a pleasant conversation with them and the doctor! If you follow instructions and answer the questions and do what you need all is good! I recommend people coming here. Even on the phone, she told me specific instructions, I follow with questions and she answered. I showed up at my appointment when I’m suppose to, I mean, these people run a clinic that have appointments, can’t expect them accommodate people’s schedule all the time. ‍️

So this clinic called me today (29th December 2020) and left a message on my voice-mail. 3 to be exact. The tone in the voice in the phone call was terrible. I then got 2 additional voice-mails where I was told to pick up the phone because they have been trying to reach me all day. There is an obvious reason I didn't pick up the call. I WAS AT WORK. I'm not in a position to take personal calls during the day. Once I had finished work, I called the clinic and guess what, the office was closed at 4pm. The same time I finished work. So I figured I'd leave a message. You guessed it. Their voice-mail was full and I can't leave a message. What a joke.
The message went on to say. We have booked your appointment and we expect you to be there. Expect me to be there. I'm thinking Who do you think your talking to?
Let's see if there so mouthy when I get them on the phone.
Terrible customer service and incredibly rude. I will not be tolerating this kind of attitude on the phone and I will be voicing my concerns to the doctor.
DO NOT GO TO THIS CLINIC. STAY AWAY UNTIL THEY LEARN SOME PHONE ETIQUETTE

Excellent Dr’s work here who maintain hospital privileges if ever there was a concern or follow up. Better than the hospital to have procedure as check in- check out time is much quicker.

I have done colonoscopy for five times due to family history. This time was the worst clinic I had. The secretary was bad and lied. I had to wait for about three and a half hour before my turn. I still could not explain why I had a very sour and bad throat for two weeks after the colonoscopy and sick for three day. I could not even speak for the first week?

This place was great.nice and tidy and receptionist is able to speak fluent english, cantonese, mandarin, and Vietnamese! She was very helpful all the way. Docs are professional and know what they're talking about.right next door to a chinese restaurant which is very convenient.would highly recommend.

I was on the phone with the receptionist for booking an appointment. She is very rough and impatient. She said she will told me the colonoscopy preparation instruction once and no repeat. I am not impressed. Hopefully, the procedure works ok. If I would have a choice, I will go back to my old endoscopy clinic. Will post an after visit update.
