The place is quite clean and employees are helpful. They guide you through the insurance coverages and explain about the charges, treatment and the appointments.
I would like to give a shoutout to Dr. Samanvaya Sharma who takes time to understand the problem, asks questions to understand the problem thoroughly and then diagnose the teeth. He also takes extra effort to understand other problems than the patient mentioned. And finally explains his diagnosis in layman's term and asks the patient what option he wants to go ahead out of several options. Kudos to Dr. Sharma!

Excellent staff! Always on time! I am always afraid to come see the dentist, this time i wasn’t tense or nervous. Everyone so friendly and welcoming! I referring my sister to come. Oh and best of all so accommodating with the days and time of appointments! Lots of email reminder and text reminder. So i cant never forget my appointment.

I just had a cleaning done here and some dental work. They did a fantastic job at both plus the office was very clean and I feel like they took COVID-19 measures very seriously which made me feel safe. Thank you for a great experience!

After my dentist passed away I was scared to go to another dentist as my dental history is a bit complex and i am often uncomfortable getting work done. My fears were for nothing! Everyone in this office was so friendly and made the transition easy! I got a full cleaning, x-ray, and exam done, and then a cavity filled (a first for me). I was at ease the whole time! Would definitely recommend this office for anyone who's not a big fan of the dentist. Very easy decision to go back to them!
EDIT: After meeting the very adorable office dog today, I would give 6 or 7 stars out of 5 if I could! He's such a sweetie

What I will say is that every safety measure is taken and as for pricing it is more on the fair side, but then again safety is first.
This is the friendly place you bring your family, because your all will be treated as such.
All the reviews are real.
As for. Safety, every measure is taken. Safer then going shopping.

I just had a visit at North York Dental at 1333 Sheppard Ave E #107, North York, ON with Dr. Eli Shem - Tov. The work that has to be done was complicated and the doctor gave me an amazing treatment and without any pain or discomfort. The quality of customer service is amazing and they treat you like a family member! If you have to do some teeth treatments make sure you ask for Dr. Eli Shem he is the best dentist I ever dealt with.

I have been going here for 21 years and I will never switch! The absolute best. Everyone is always so friendly and accommodating! Highly recommend:)

Needed an emergency extraction and was taken right way. Despite being on OW I was treated with respect.and seen. The next day was followed up with on how I was. Top notch service and care all around. Highly, highly recommended. Thank you Leone and Dr. Nada.

Friendly, professional and great service. From my very first visit I was welcomed by a knowledgeable staff and super cuddle-y service dog. If I could give 6 stars, I would. I have complex PTSD and no other dentist would take me in as a new patient, so I've been overdue for a cleaning for years. As soon as I messaged NYD that I needed a cleaning and that I have this mental illness, there was no hesitation in the response. Dr. Madani and Edward are the most compassionate people; they care a lot about you and your comfort/happiness. I couldn't have asked for a better experience given my illness. If you have high levels of anxiety/fear or PTSD, I highly recommend this place! I cannot vouch for a better location if you have a dental phobia. They will make you feel comfortable throughout the whole duration. Shoutout to Izzy (therapy dog), Dr. Madani, Edward, Sharon, and Leanne. You guys are my heroes!

This is the first time I’ve been to a dental office and left feeling like it was actually a really pleasant experience! The staff & professionals are so welcoming, present and really care about helping you understand your options & have a positive experience. They’ve invested in some great features for the office (Netflix + comfy headphones during cleanings is awesome to pass the time). I don’t often feel motivated to write reviews like this but in this case I genuinely cannot recommend them enough - plus they have a really cute therapy dog who’s there to brighten your day.

There is nothing but wonderful things I can say about my experience with Dr. Shem-Tov and his whole office staff. I was so scared of the dentist because of past experiences, but on my first visit I was put to rest. Now I go not even think about anything I may have to have done. Mind you I am a wimp about eveything but they put me at ease. You also have to meet Izzy what a great addition. So if you are looking for a place to go this is it.

Overall the best dentist experience you can have!

Dr. Shem-Tov is probably the best dentist that I've ever met. Recently I had a problem on my old fillings, he fixed my problem and no more sensitive feeling on my tooth!

The staff are wonderful and the location is great. This is my only concern: Your clinic SHOULD BE SCENT FREE as strong scent such as perfume can cause INCONVENIENCE or DEATH to some of your patients.

Dr Shem-Tov and his team have created a wonderful and relaxing environment. They cater to all your needs. I highly recommend Dr Shem-To to anyone who is looking for a dentist.

Best dental practice I’ve ever been to. Leone and Sharon are wonderful, kind and helpful. Dr. Shem-Tov and Dr. Madani have great, gentle hands and make you feel very comfortable. And on top of that, Izzy the therapy dog is pretty much the best part of every visit!

After recently moving to Toronto and looking for a new dental office the reviews pointed me to Dr. Shem-Tov at North York Dental and I was not disappointed. The staff are all VERY friendly and made my job easy by looking into my dental coverage for me. The dog Izzy is great for relieving the stress of visiting the dentist and the TV's in all the rooms help to pass the time during procedures. Overall great first experience, I would definitely recommend this office to others!

I have been going to North York Dental for 6 or 7 years now. The people are exceptional in making you feel welcome. Dr. Shem-Tov along with the help of Izzy have taken me from a state of terror to relaxed and comfortable. Izzy is the greatest, which was the first thing to intrigue me in trying North York Dental. I have had many very scary experiences at the hands of other dentists and everyone at North York Dental has been so kind and patient with me. Now I get my dental work done fear free. Dr. Shem-Tov is a great dentist with all the latest bells and whistles to make your experience as painless and stress free as possible. The staff is nothing but amazing and I am so grateful I have found this needle in the haystack.

Amazing service. NYD took me in as an emergency patient and from Sharon (front desk staff) to Leone (Manager) made me feel comfortable and all the paperwork was completed quickly so that I could see Dr. Madani to assess my tooth and assist with my pain. Seeing Dr. Madani for the first time, she clearly explained what she was doing, course of treatment, and follow-up to put me in ease during the visit. Best of all, after seeing Dr. Madani, I was pain free and all the benefit paperwork had already been completed and submitted on my behalf.

I would definitely recommend NYD for the fast, efficient and professional service and courteous, kind and caring staff to any one looking for a dentist or in need of one.

Awesome place, awesome staff and a great experience at the dentist? ! That’s unheard of. Only been 1 visit, the reviews are what brought me to this location along with the convenience of the location. 1 negative point to mention regarding the location is the parking, but that is not worthy of deducting a star as for me it is about 20 minutes walking distance or a several minute drive. They charge directly to my benefits provider which gave them the 5 stars.

Look no further, if possible I would give Dr. Eli Shem-Tov and his team a 10 / 10.
After not being to a dentist for many years it was time. I went online to find someone who would knock me out believing that was my only option due to my fear of dentistry. I was embarrassed by the condition of my teeth, I was holding the chair arms in a death grip I was determined to see it through.
First a cleaning while wearing headphones watching Netflix blocking out the sound of the extensive cleaning. I was instructed if I wanted to stop at any time to raise my hand, I felt I had some control of the situation. Then the dental exam, having found a few cavities along with some old fillings that needed replacing somehow I was still willing to go ahead. Now I had to face the dreaded freezing. WHAT ON EARTH IT DID NOT HURT! I had overlooked the fact dentistry had come a long way and given the gentle hand of Dr.
Shem-Tov I made it through my first appointment. Now I actually look forward to my check ups and cleanings, I now love to floss, and love to take care of my teeth.

Thanks to all the staff and Dr. Eli Shem-Tov for their patience and understanding, I am no longer in fear of dentistry.
