Dr. Julie is the most caring physician I’ve had so far. She might be my eye doctor but her care for her patients go above and beyond. She explains the reasons why my eyes are feeling worse and worse over the years, and provide me tips to help me take care of my eyes health. I’ve had her since 2020 and I would not go elsewhere. Her team and De. Julie has been helpful to me since my first time until now.

Worst clinic ever. Bad attitude from front desk and non patient from doctor/owner, pharmacy faxed them the prescription more than a week ago but they never sign it, hold on with it and after I follow up they tell me need to charge admin fee of $150 for refill prescription

One of the best eye doctors I've ever been to and definitely the best in North York. Dr Julie is informed, professional, and personable. A+

Very disappointed, they supposed to give me precipitation eye and sun glasses. That's how they gave me a deal in first. I paid full amount at day first. But they gave only eye glasses and refused for sun glasses totally. They charged around 750 for chinisee made glasses.

North York eye clinic has been my go to place since more than 2 years now. Dr. Yoo is very helpful and treats her patients very well.
She give great feedback on what should be done and how you can improve your eye vision. Quick FYI- the clinic requires pre booking or advanced appointment. Also visit their website for timings. They also have a vast variety of frames.

Been going here for the past few years now and Dr. Yoo and her staff are great! Thorough eye exam and Dr. Yoo provides helpful suggestions and tips with issues I bring up to her regarding my eyes. Very easy to book and convenient location.

Visited Dr. Yoo for a regular exam and Eye infection. She was Professional, very knowledgeable and took time to explain to me the findings. Answered all my questions. The staff was very professional too. I would highly recommend Dr. Yoo and this Clinic.

Been going to Dr. Julie Yoo for 6 years now and has been a great experience. She is knowledgeable, patient, friendly, and professional.

Today during my eye exam I casually asked her about Lasik and she was able to list the pros and cons quickly, along with the different providers and range of pricing. She was also happy to explain to me my prescription and condition in layman terms. I was super impressed.

Beware if you value your time, they triple book appointments for the same time. I had a 11am appointment and there were two other people waiting at the same time. By 11: 30 one person was done and I would still need to waiting another 30 minutes. I wish they just told me my appointment was for noon.

This is exasperated given there is no free parking - their website notes to go into the building behind them and look for Commercial Tenant parking signs, there is no such thing. There is parking for BMO customers, visitors to the building and authorized personnel, no commercial tenant ones.

I appreciate they want to keep the doctor’s busy, but at the expense of customers wasting time when they need to pay is poor service.

Great service! Everything is cleaned before your eyes. Fast and they billed my insurance company direct so I did not have to pay.

Great experience. Dr. Yoo and her receptionist are very competent and professional. Highly recommended.

Very disappointed. I was trying to do the OACP test and required the vision test, I told them specifically what I want and the front desk help me book appointment on last Sunday, it got cancel on that Sunday morning because they didn't check the machine, and it was broken. I only available during weekend since I have to work till 1900 Monday to Friday. So they said they will fix the machine and book another weekend, which is today. They called me yesterday to confirm that I will have an appointment with Doc.and I got the phone call this morning said they don't have the program. I can't believe how they can run the whole clinic without make sure what customer want and if they can provide that service. If you want to do business with them, make sure you have a plan B.

Nice receptionist. Very polite lady eye doctor. Fixed the wrong prescription the eye doctor in Mississauga near my university gave me. With the new glasses I got from here, I no longer have headaches or the eye strain I had.

My recent experiences were excellent. All the staff including the young lady at the desk managing the office, and the medical staff were kind, personal, respectful and highly competent! I am very grateful.

Because of a mistake at the front desk, she remembered my phone number incorrectly, which made me unable to see the doctor. Later, she not refused to admit that it was her fault, and also hung up my phone, which made me very angry. And her attitude not good. This is a mistake caused by the front desk. I hope she can be fired. Such employees should not influence the business of the hospital

I highly recommend this Eye Clinic and Dr. Julie Yoo. She is thorough, courteous, and kind. The eye exam was professionally done.

They were able to accommodate my mother for an emergency eye exam fairly quickly and got her the appropriate care that she required. Thank you.

The eye exam part was really good with Dr. Yoo she takes her time and explain everything in the process she is doing.
My issue was that i ordered my glasses prescription from their clinic and it was hectic until i finally got my glasses. I was told it will take 1 week to be ready yet it took more than 6 weeks and communication was not at its best with the staff there as every time i called to follow up and see what is causing the delay i get no answer but “ oh i will check with the other girls and call you back” yet they never call back until i call again. It was never explained why my order got so late and never even apologized for that.
Eye exam is good but i do not recommend getting their products.

Over all I have to say that my experience at North York eye clinic was not the best! Though when I went in both doctors were very warm and professional. I have to be honest though when I went in for my eye exam I found it a bit rushed and also not done properly. What I mean by this is that in the examination Room the doctor left the door opened so therefore light seeping from the hallway came in the Room when I was supposed to be completely dark. I found it quite hard to focus when they were changing the lenses and they were doing them quite fast. That is why I believe that both perceptions that were written for me are not the right one and caused me severe headaches and to be dizzy and nauseated. I wish I could give this clinic a 5 star But I can't As for their customer service and the front desk I found the receptionist to be quite unprofessional a and her attire was not appropriate I believe wearing jeans in an office in a medical setting is not appropriate.

This is Paola Boffo. I saw Dr Yoo for an ocular emergency. I sent her an email on a Saturday evening and received a reply within minutes! Dr Yoo told me to come in first thing the next morning (on a Sunday). I received a thorough eye exam and was given drops along with a follow up apt. Dr Yoo was very kind, professional and thorough and I am grateful that she is open for emergencies and was willing to see me during this pandemic. I would recommend her to all.

Dr. Julie Yoo was very nice and courteous. She did a thorough eye test and gave me peace of mind that my eyes are good.

Dr Yoo was great, she saw me same day for an eye issue and was able to help solve my problem really quickly.

Very well stocked, staff are readily available to help you with whatever your needs may be. The staff are friendly and the place is very open. I needed an eye exam to buy contact lenses, as I was heading up north for snowboarding that evening. I had my eyes checked, new prescription and was able to pick up my contact lenses on the spot, I love it. Overall it was better than I would have expected.

Dr Julie Yoo helped my friend with her eye infection/problem. The medicine that the walk in doctor gave her did not help. But after using the one she prescribed, within 24 hours her eye problem improved a lot.

Best place for eye exam, Dr Yoo takes her time examine your eyes, takes about a hour but it’s worth it. The reading i got for my.prescription glasses is just perfect

I saw the Acuvue ad on the window and walked in. They were able to see me right away and the lady doctor took her time and did a good eye exam. I ended up buying contact lenses too as they stock my brand and power.

Very clean and great hours. I had my eyes examined on a Sunday morning and ordered my glasses and contact here.

Had the last appointment of the day and still very friendly and patient. Same great service as my first appointment two years ago.

It's been well over 6 years since my last eye exam and the doctor still remembered who I was and had all of my information on file. I booked an appointment for 5: 45pm and was promptly seen by the doctor as soon as I arrived.

The doctor took her time with the examination and I did not feel rushed at all. Answered all of my questions with great knowledge and patience and provided great recommendations on how to keep my eyes healthy. I probably won't have another eye exam for another few years, but if I do, I will definitely be coming back here.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I certainly would.

I should have looked at the reviews of this office before attending. I have been there twice now and I can only say to find a different doctor.

The first time, I was waiting for over 4 hours for my scheduled appointment. I find it incredibly disconcerting that they expect every patient to wait that long for a scheduled appointment. I thought it might have just been that particular day so I decided to keep my follow up appointment.

This time, I confirmed that I would have the earliest possible appointment and that I would be seen as close as possible to my appointment time.

No luck with this office. I arrived for my appointment 30 minutes early (the office had just opened and I was the first person in).

At 10: 30 I had still not been called in so I asked what is the delay as my appointment was several hours earlier. The staff at the desk are incredibly rude and just keep repeating "that's how doctor's offices work". Utter nonsense. After advising them that I have to leave - they said that I will be responsible for the cancellation fee of 100$. I don't think so. I didin't cancel the appointment - they did not keep the schedule. I don't see them paying me for not keeping the appointment.

Will certainly not be going back to this office.

I hope this review helps someone else and prevents them from getting the horrible level of customer service at this office.

Happy to take your money but they do nothing regarding their patients care.

Absolutely sure. Several hours were wasted waiting for the office staff to try to find my account - but they just kept me waiting until there was a free spot.

I went to this place due to an eye injury. I received an appointment the same day, the service was prompt and the doctor helped me a lot.

The clinic was close to home and billed my insurance directly. Nice staff and doc. They emailed me my perscription as well. Good experience.
