I had a great experience with North York's Premium Dry Cleaners recently. I have a long white dress made with scuba/neoprene fabric with lots of deep creases. Hanging it and flat ironing it doesn't seem to make a dent in fixing the problem so I brought it over to them for consultation to see if they can fix it.

The staff who managed the counter immediately recognised the type of fabric and said that while he'll do his best to steam iron it out, he can't guarantee that it will fix some of the deeper creases as it's a tricky fabric to work with. Alternatively, he also suggested that I dry clean the dress to soften it so that it'll be easier to steam iron. Nonetheless, he said he'll give it a shot with the steam iron first and if I'm not satisfied with the result, we can discuss the alternative the next day.

I returned the next day and I was delightfully surprised to see all the deep creases have been ironed out (and what's left was barely noticeable). All they charged me was the initial fare that they quoted me in the beginning which was $40 + tax. It was a bit pricier than what was listed on their website for dress ironing but considering the circumstances of the dress and the speed in which the task was completed, I think it's fair and you feel like you are getting your money's worth.

I would definitely recommend their services, for their expertise and their speed of work.

Have come here twice, got my duvet dry cleaned and made a rush order, got it back quickly and it was perfectly folded when I got it back. Second time I got alterations, also on a rush order, got it back the next day exactly how I wanted it. Mandeep is very helpful and positive, she was able to deliver quickly and neatly:) will come back!

The dry cleaning was decently priced for my pillow cases and comforter. I requested for same-day cleaning and they made it possible - with extra costs. When the dry cleaning is ready, you receive a text message. Efficient service.

They did a really good job dry clean my winter jacket! It is as good as new now! Also reasonably priced.

Worst experience ever…. Dropped my dry cleaning on Friday and asked them if it’s going to be ready for Monday at 9 am; was told yes… showed up at 9 and was told it’s not ready yet and come back in the afternoon… after telling them I have to go out of town and I was promised to have it ready at 9 they told me to wait 15 minutes. Ended up leaving there at 9: 45. After getting to my event noticed my shirt has a new stain on it. Never going back

They work very hard for their customers. I really appreciate their dedication to try deliver the best service possible. I am very impressed and highly recommend them. Have been a client since they opened, a few years ago.

I dropped off my VERY dirty long winter jacket with multiple rips and PAINT stains on the sleeve… I dropped off my jacket under the impression that the paint wouldn’t be coming out but they were able to get it out! Above and beyond my expectations and I’m thrilled with the outcome. HIGHLY recommend!

Pardeep has been a delight to work with! She understood what needs to be altered and made my dress extremely beautiful for my big day (wedding). She called me in, made me try it out and fixed the little tweaks then and there and gave me the dress! She knew my emergency and gave me the dress on time as promised! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!
I called in advance to ask if they could clean my dog’s bed cover, which had quite a bit of hair on it. I specifically asked for machine-washing in hot water and drying. They charged me about $40 and said it’d be ready in 3 days. I found that very expensive and slow but since our washer at home wasn’t working at the moment I sucked it up. However, when I went to pick it up, the cover was still smelly and hairy - didn’t look washed at all! I was then told that they dry-cleaned it instead. So I asked them to please re-do it, MACHINE WASH IN HOT WATER. That was what Ive always done at home and it always worked perfectly. They agreed. A week later, i went back to pick the cover up, but it was the same thing all over again. Smelly and hairy- didn’t look washed at all. No trace of scent of detergent or softener. I asked the lady how they cleaned it, and she apparently had no idea because it wasn’t her that did it. This is one of the worst laundry experience I’ve ever had. WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN AND DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.

Mandy was very helpful and provided service that went above and beyond. She accommodated my request for alteration despite knowing my rush and ensured that everything fit properly.

The owner is very kind and friendly. The dresses I gave were altered as discussed and it’s a great fit now. I just love their service and would recommend them to my friends too. And I got my dresses sooner than expected.

I've always found the person behind the counter, no matter who it was, to be pleasant and friendly. I'm always greeted kindly, and even though I've only been a patron for about a year and only go once a month, they still recognize me by name, and impressively by phone number too. They have always taken great care of all the items I've brought in, and they've always been returned on time and in excellent condition. I continue to use North York Premium Dry Cleaners not because of the convenience of location, but because they offer great customer service and do a very good job.

I needed my white king size duvet to be cleaned and wasn’t sure what to do. They assessed it and recommended dry cleaning based on me explaining my previous washing machine fail. I didn’t know what to expect and was anxious to see how the blanket would turn out. I will say that they did an amazing job with getting rid of the discolouration and stain from my previous washing machine failure. Cost $39.99 plus tax (competitively priced) Great job! Will use their services again in the future!
