I recently completed the AZ program at NorthStar Trucking and it was a great experience. I came in with zero knowledge about the industry. There was a learning curve at the beginning but the instructors were patient throughout the process. I want to thank them all (Scuba, Vern, Wayne and Mike) for an amazing experience. Liz and Ray were great working with work my schedule. I would recommend this school to anyone interested in trucking.

Liz is so welcoming when you go into the building. Always has a happy greeting and is so nice.
The instructors, Scuba, Vern, Wayne and Mike were absolutely fantastic.
They teach you in a way that you understand. They are very patient with you and work around your schedule.
Especially myself, a single mom of 4 children and they made it very possible for me to do this.
They encourage you and push you to do the best you can.

I recently enrolled in Northstar Truck Driving School with little to no knowledge about the intricacies of trucking, from air brakes to understanding the inner workings of these massive vehicles. I can't express enough how fantastic my experience was. Ray, the manager, was nothing short of amazing. He took the time to explain the complexities of air brakes, guiding me from A to Z. Ray's educational approach was not only thorough but also incredibly effective.

The entire team, both in the classroom and out in the yard, was exceptional. They patiently explained every aspect, ensuring I grasped how to handle situations on my own, be it during solo drives or road tests. Wayne, in particular, was great at demonstrating what we needed to know.

I must extend my heartfelt gratitude to Mike, who played a pivotal role in teaching me everything from the basics to every inch of the truck. His explanations, wording, and examples were top-tier. Mike went above and beyond by providing me with study materials to enhance my learning at home. Whenever I had doubts or needed assistance, he was always there, day and night, without hesitation. His patience in guiding me through the learning process was truly remarkable.

I'd also like to thank Liz for being incredibly helpful with all the information needed to navigate this journey. Northstar Truck Driving School, under Ray's management, is highly recommended for anyone seeking an education in trucking. The team's dedication and expertise make it an outstanding choice.

I had a great experience at Northstar Truck Driving school. They have the best rates in the city, knowledgeable staff, and are friendly. Mike, Wayne, and Scuba are excellent and very informative. Liz and Ray are amazing, they work very hard on finding a solution to work around your schedule and accommodate your needs. Especially the instructor Mike was with me every step of the way and went above and beyond to make sure I was getting the experience I needed to succeed. He sacrificed his own time off work to come into the yard to train me. Thanks to every single one of you guys! I highly recommend this school.

Hands down the best truck driving school in Windsor! The most patient, encouraging, and thorough staff you’ll ever meet. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without Mike; he helped me every step of the way, even when I didn’t think I could do it. They’ll make sure you’re 110% ready for your road test. Where do I start, Northstar Truck Driving school exceeded my expectations when it came to the knowledge of the instructors and the time and care they put into their students.
I took the 9 week course and they made sure I was prepared for my road test when they day came. Wayne, Mike, Scuba, Ron, Vern, Liz and Ray were all very pleasant to deal with. I would rate 10/10 and recommend this school to anybody looking to get their A or D license.

EXCELLENT STAFF! Instructors are amazing Mike, scuba, Wayne and Ray They go above and beyond to help you get it and understand the fine science of it all.would not recommend any other school besides North star, also Liz is awesome helpful, informative and very nice. All around couldn't have asked for a better experience

Experienced teachers but promises unfulfilled and had to seek extra teaching at Academy truck driving school cuz they did not teach me how to drive without double clutching as they promised

I took the 5 week AZ course at North star truck driving school. Mike Scuba Wayne Ray and Liz I can’t thank you enough for everything during my 5 week program! Everyone cares so much about the students they take their time and patience while teaching each and every student all the skills you’ll need to pass the exam and to be a successful driver. I recommend them to anyone looking to get their AZ or DZ Liz will take care of you from the day you call she has all the information you’ll need to get you started and finished. Also thanks to Mike for the extra hours out of his own schedule to help me get it done!

Great experience with Northstar Truck Driving school getting my DZ. Liz, Ray, Mike and Wayne were all very helpful and friendly throughout my 9 days with the school. My instructors Ray and Mike made the material interesting and provided lots of real world advice. Definitely recommend for anyone looking to get their DZ or AZ license.

Very disappointed with my experience at Northstar. They booked my road tests knowing that I am not ready to pass. Now that my 2 road tests options are over they are treating me as I don't exist. Don't waste your hard earned money here.
