Expensive. Borderline scam. I ordered the seafood fried rice and half of it was loaded with clam shells- taking up the majority of the portion. This is obviously a way to make it seem like the portion is full. It was overly salty too. My friend got the pineapple fried rice and said it was inedible because of how salty it was. 20 dollars for a small portion of rice, half full of shells and overly salted is not acceptable considering the price. Ridiculous.

I order takeout at-least once a month. The problem with this place is the food is never consistent. Sometimes it’s good, sometimes it’s terrible. The ingredients in the menu items are never the same. It’s a mystery what you will receive. Last night it was terrible. We ordered the Basil Pad Thai, there was no basil, very little vegetables and it was too spicy. It tasted like it was covered in Sembal (chili garlic paste). We also ordered the Pineapple Fried Rice, there was almost NO pineapple in it, it was very bland and the rice was not good. Eating at this place is a gamble every-time. My advice to the staff and cooks is set recipes and follow them for each dish, so return customers know what to expect and are satisfied. If you don’t do this, you won’t have any return customers.

Never go to this place. I got food poisoning from the chicken from this place. The food tasted awful first place that was outdated. I asked them non spicy and they said the juice has a bit of spice and can’t change it. Didn’t have time to argue. After couple of hours i felt so sick that i had to hit the hospital two times staying in ER. Its my 4th day and still feeling nauseated and sick. And still in emergency room. Don’t ever try this place. I paid $20 for the food that almost killed me, and so expensive compared to what i got in terms of the quality. Drs said very strong virus from this food that probably was uncooked or outdated. Giving the worst rating for this place specially to the cashier who i spoke with regarding the food and he rejected to change.

Their lunch specials are excellent great value for the money. You get a sense that the food is prepared with a lot of pride.

Realy good place to visit for lunch. Food is really good here and the service is excellent.

. Cantonese chow main have vegetables? Not here. Is there a sauce or is it hot? Not here. But I've pictures! This is a filthy dump that doesn't treat all its customers equally. Extremely rude. How is this place still open?

What used to be a great local restaurant with lineups for food is gone. The people who bought it a couple years ago have ruined it. As I live nearby, I've watched the food go from great to appalling. Beef & Broccoli is now 90% filler vegetables like onion, pepper and zucchini, with almost no Beef or Broccoli. Shanghai noodles are mushy and watery with no veg outside of 2 tiny zucchini pieces, and no flavour. Disgusting, and never again. This place just needs to close and be done with it.

The food was ready very quickly! The customer service was also great and they helped me find something to eat even though I have many dietary restrictions. The food was really good and flavourful.

We stopped in just to get a meal after The Royal Ontario Museum. We ordered seafood and broccoli, steamed spare ribs and din sum. To my surprise the food was brought to us on the second floor dining room with very a pleasant attitude. The presentation of my seafood dish was picture perfect! The ribs and dim sum were presented in pleasing bowls. Flavors were good. I recommend for food food with pleasant service.

I really love this restaurant. I used to live at Bay club, very close to this restaurant. Their fried chicken rice is very commendable. Other dishes are also great. Recommend it to all.

Lovely service and nice staff. We came with a group and ordered quite a few dishes. All were very tasty - maybe beef ribs were a bit salty. Yum. It’s a great place to grab lunch when downtown, no real atmosphere it’s really just for take out or a quick meal. Bathrooms could use an update.

I went here for the first time during pride weekend and I was shocked at how poor the food, service and atmosphere was.

1. Food was bland, I ordered some sort of pan fried noodles & shu mai and it didn't taste like anything except cardboard. I used the "chilli" sauce on the table upstairs and it just tasted like bitter, expired salt. It was actually more disgusting than edible, I wasted $22 on this dinner.

2. Service took forever. I understand it was a major weekend due to pride but there was many instances where other people's food came out before mine, and they arrived after me. It took 24 minutes to have a takeout order with 3 people ahead of me for takeout.

3. Atmosphere was kind of ok, but the waitress took no effort into cleaning the tables upstairs properly. There was food scraps on chairs and tables which was left behind.

Overall, the food wasn't great, the service was terrible and the cleanliness seems to be an issue. Take your money elsewhere.

Quick service, great food (I got the beef brisket noodles). It isn't the greatest thing ever but it does go hard. I'd recommend the place if you're just in the area and want a quick place to eat.

Tasty and clean. It feels like a large collection of Chinese food, not authentic but delicious, salty. Moderate price, fried rice is expensive, overall good

Ordered their eggplant to go with my white rice for a quick lunch. It was really tasty. The portion was big too, I had some leftover for another meal. Convenient location and hours. Will try their Mapo tofu next.

This place has changed a lot since the last time I was there. It is cleaner, more organized, still excellent food and the service is much better than it was.

I've been getting lunch here for a while since I work close by. They always remember what I ask for, and are always friendly. They have a lunch special every day 11-3pm that you don't wanna miss. Go check them out!

Usually food is pretty good but today got served raw chicken! Also the side soup was too salty to eat. Was my go to when working downtown but since new owners took over it’s been all downhill. Be diligent and check your food.

This is the worst chinese food i've had in years. There was NO MEAT in the crispy beef - all filler.the minimal beef was tiny little strips and it was covered in large flat corn starch. Lacked flavor overall. 13.99 plus tax for the lunch special May 30,2023. I recommend going somewhere else!

Today I ordered this one in this restaurant for my lunch but the pork was burned, dry and hard like a rock which cant even chew. It was like the pork has been reheated many times. I am extremely disapointed as a loyal customer here. Never coming back again
