5 star review for Hani (416hairstylist). He did an amazing job with my haircut and blowout! He followed through with what I wanted and paid a great amount of attention to the layers in my hair. I 100% recommended him!

I asked the stylist to buz it short but leave some in the front so I could gel the front up. But he just shaved off the front too. He made him look like fester adams. There was nothing left in the front. I told them and they didn’t do anything for us than give us $5 off. The stylist even told us to not talk to them when we tried to communicate our dissatisfaction.

Phenomenal experience at NRG Pickering Location. I had let my natural hair grow out and I was ready for blonde again. Stylist Hani, expert at his craft, did a blonde- balayage throughout my hair. I am in love.
Over all atmosphere in the salon is warm and friendly.
Booked a touch up in a few months, highly recommend Hani Darwish, Could not be happier!

Anytime I go to NRG in Pickering Town Centre
It's a pleasure starting with the reception and the staff are amazing.
My barber Hanny makes me look so good that I want to kiss myself lol.
The whole staff is unique and passionate about what they do from the heart you won't be disappointed.
NRG passion in action will make you look like the main attraction

I was so undecided as to let my grey grow out and go ohhh natural, but the more it grew out I was just not feeling it. My hair is very fine and after years of bleaching was very damaged so I needed to find someone with the skills to really do my hair. After looking through many reviews of salons and colour specialists I decided to go to NRG Salon. I spoke with Tia and explained my hesitation. She set my appointment with Hani and assured me I was in good hands. Well let me just start by saying that from the moment I sat in the chair he was so attentive. I showed him a few photos of what I liked and he made me feel very comfortable that he actually cared and understood what I wanted. He was so gentle with my hair since it tangles and breaks easily if it is combed hard. The calibre of professionalism this young man has is top notch! I felt as though I was at a salon in York Ville and being treated like a celebrity! The pride Hani takes in his craftsmanship is also reflected in how he manages his station. His tools of the trade are all lined up, polished and in order. I am 100% satisfied with my hair and am so excited to has found Hani!

Hair done by the amazingly talented Hani I came in with super dark hair and was transformed to a richer, lighter balayage. He really puts his heart into his work. He also takes music requests, which is a plus in my books. Great light and fun energy, would recommend him always.

I went here for the first time and had Hani do my hair. He was the best I’ve ever been to! I’ve been to many salons, his service was amazing. Not only did he helped me pick the right colour for my hair, but made sure it looked amazing. He takes pride in his work and is truly the best. Highly recommend going to him. You won’t be disappointed.

I had my hair done by Hani for the first time last year and had an amazing experience! Since then, I have only gone to Hani for my hair and I’m am beyond happy!

He took his time and never rushed even though I was booked near closing. We had great conversation and he made me feel so comfortable and cared for. When we finished, he explained hair care and I have lived in my new hairstyle, now nearing 3 weeks in, and it still looks and feels great!

I truly have nothing but amazing things to say about NRG Salon but especially Hani and I recommend him to everyone!

This was my first time at the salon and I absolutely loved the experience. Hani gave me a cut and colour and went out of his way to advise and help me to prioritize the health of my hair! He was very patient and a pleasure to have as my stylist. Will definitely return and go out of my way to request hani as my stylist. 10/10 experience, very well done.

I went to NRG Salon and Spa for the first time! I had the pleasure of getting my hair cut, coloured and styled by the very talented Hani! I wasn’t sure what colour I wanted and had changed my mind half way through and he advised on a colour that would look good on me and he was absolutely right! He made me feel comfortable, explained the process and he even took the time to share the steps for after colour care! I highly recommend him!

I had my hair done by Hani and it was great. I was a little skeptical because I didn't think the colour was light enough and he assured me that it would look amazing. Which it does. His attention to detail was phenomenal and he took his time to make sure it was done right. Other places I have been to my hair feels rough and damaged after the first few washes. I assume because of the chemicals. I expected the same thing here but it wasn't. It looks and feels healthy. I will be back in a few months for the touch ups.

I had my hair done by Hani for the first time last year Sept and his work is exceptional. The colour that I asked for was exactly the colour that I got. My family and I started going to him regularly now for colour, cuts, wash and style and has not been disappointed. He’s also really nice and makes you feel very comfortable (:

My experience at NRG Salon and Spa (Pickering) was definitely one for the books! I am very skeptical when it comes to my hair but Hani made the entire process, from start to finish, so smooth and seamless! He is such a gifted and knowledgeable individual, who takes pride in what he does. He is very meticulous, patient and accommodated my hair care needs. Overall, a very humble and genuine person. Hani, thank you so much for totally slaying my hair and making me look and feel like a million bucks! The salon itself is very clean, spacious, and the staff are all super friendly. I will definitely be a returning customer and will absolutely be recommending NRG to friends and family! ️

Went today to give my son a haircut and she did the worst job ever - could’ve done the exact same thing at home. Lumps of hair left at the top of their hair and wasn’t lined evenly from the back. Worst $46 spent - not worth it at all I’m shocked at what a horrible job they did.

I purchased a 6 treatment laser hair removal package from NRG at the beginning of 2020. I was able to use 3 sessions and then as we all know COVID forced salons to close. I unfortunately lost most of my progress, as I was told I needed to go consistently every 4-6 weeks. Once salons were allowed to open back up I called NRG to discuss how to proceed with my laser treatments. The first time I called I was told a supervisor would call me back, as the person on the phone was new and wasn't sure how they were handling clients in the middle of their treatments. I did not receive a phone call back. I called again over a week later, and was told it was not NRG's fault my treatments were interrupted (which I agree but it's not mine either). I was hoping we could come to a middle ground on the number of treatments given back. While I was on this phone call the person on the other end was speaking over me constantly, and having side conversations which made the whole situation very confusing for me. She then indicated she would have a supervisor call me back, which someone name Lisa called me the same day. I explained to Lisa I had used 3 out of 6 sessions, and my progress had been lost and I was hoping to be given 2 additional sessions in good faith. Lisa said head office was offering 1 additional session, but she would call and see if they would make an exception. Over a week went by and I did not hear from anyone. I ended up calling them again, and I spoke to Lisa who said head office was not going to give out more than 1 additional session. BUT they would go over the treatment area 4 times instead of 3. I'm confused as to how that would be helpful, or be deemed as compensation. If 4 "strokes" over the treatment area is even safe, then why aren't they doing 4 in the first place in order to achieve maximum results? The whole situation is bizarre, and disappointing. I have been a NRG customer for 6+ years, and will finish my sessions and purchase additional laser hair treatments elsewhere.

Lots of precautions in place for social distancing. They give masks so you don't ruin your own, except you have to pay for it on the bill. Friendly service, and I walked out with a great colour and cut. Thanks Frank

I am a client of NRG for a few years now and while I do not do my nails often, when I do, I will often go to this salon. The ambiance is great, clean, staff are friendly and professional. But I had the worst experience today. Booked a last minute appointment hence was assigned to the only available staff. Horrible experience, Not only was she rude and argumentative, she basically ruined my nails. You can see visible ripples on the nails from the scraping. Looks like I had my nails done at some cheap off the road kiosk run by an untrained person. Her name is Shugra - her skill and experience is questionable, most of all she would benefit from a lesson in customer service! Staff like her will ruin the brand of a great organization!

Don't go hear if you want to leave with swollen, puff eye's and all your upper eyelids skin removed! My first an only experience at his salon. I was pressed for time and walked in to the salon to get my eyebrows waxed. Everything seems great until my eyebrows started to burn. The person that did my eyes was clearly not experienced and the wax was too hot. I went back to tell them with happened and all I got was apologies after apologies from the manager and the staff. They just gave me my money back and nothing else. I am so upset you can't even imagine.

The first time I came here, I had an eyebrow appointment and I was a walk-in that was taken right away. The second time, I made an appointment and I had to wait an entire half hour with no explanation. I ended up walking out. The third time (I came back because the aesthetician is unfortunately really good) I had to wait 20 minutes due to “the rooms all being booked. ” How can the rooms be booked when I made an appointment in advance? This is unacceptable service. I will never go back here.

Had an unfortunate turn with an appointment for nails I set up over a week ago. They called yesterday to rebook due to the esthetician no longer being available and offered an alternate appointment later in the day. When I arrived for the appointment I was refused service because they "Don't do colour changes if they aren't damaged" and didn't have enough time. Which they could have explained instead of wasting my time and rebooking an appointment they couldn't squish in. It leaves me with no time to reschedule or find other options.

I love the team at NRG, have been going here for my haircuts and colourings for ten years. The team is amazing, they are all friendly, and each has a specialty, so if you want to switch stylists, there's no drama. It must be a great place to work, because they have kept the same team of people all these years.

Maybe a salon, definitely not a spa. I was a little hestitant in writing this review but I didn’t want anyone else to risk themselves like I did. I went in for a full leg and Brazilian wax. Met with their wax lady sagar? All I remember was pain, blood and that cheap alcohol filled aloe Vera gel. Paid $100+ and went home in pain and the next day I noticed that patches of my flesh was ripped off and it felt like I had multiple open wounds down there. I should have went to the ER but I went back to the place to ask how this happened and they refused to let me speak to the waxing lady and brought out their head esthetician. She saw it and asked me if my missing skin is a stretch mark? The most ignorant responses I’ve ever heard from an esthetician. At that point it was useless talking to her so I asked to speak to a manager and I got a “yeah did you want to book an appointment? She’s at our other store, just wait a few days. ” Both of them should NEVER be allowed to wax again. They clearly aren’t certified because wax isn’t suppose to lift skin. PLEASE JUST KEEP IT AS A SALON. NOT A SPA. THIS PLACE IS FAR FROM THAT.

I called before going in. Gave all info and was quoted aprox $85 for partial highlights and a trim. When everything was done it cost $160, let me spell it, ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTY DOLLARS.not including tip.

Let me say this, my stylist was very nice and did a great job, but like other reviewers have said, RIDICULOUSLY OVER PRICED. Given the price they charged and the time I was there, not once did they ask if I wanted some water, coffee, tea. You can't buy a $3 case of water (40 bottles) at Costco and offer your clients? !

While my stylist did a great job, for THAT price, I can get the same service AND quality done twice! Will not be going back.

I have very curly hair and I came for a cut and flat iron. After having many terrible salon experiences, I was very pleased with the customer service my stylist had given me from start to finish. The issue is that after she flat ironed my hair, my curl pattern never went back to normal. Usually it takes a few washes before it snaps back all the way, but this flat iron job damaged my hair permanently. I am left with a looser curl pattern to the point that now, months later, my natural kinky curls are starting to grow in, and I have loose curls on the rest of my head. I should have realized right away because I noticed (and got comments from friends) that my straightened hair looked abnormally flat, but I assumed she just did a very thorough job at ironing it. I am only giving 3 stars because the service was truly excellent and I believe this was a genuine mistake. Please stylists be honest and don’t take on a client if you are not capable of managing their hair properly, and be mindful of the damage you are capable of causing.

Very pricey - horrible experience
Went for a deal for color cut style
Didnt get what i asked with tht high price
After coloring Keep asking the girl to blow dry with a big curls - and she keep saying I know and kept doing it wrong
In the end when I said I dont like it - she said i dont have time to do anymore- I reminded her tht i am asking her to blow dry with brush before she even started but she was not listening. After coloring didnt clean my skin also. She didn’t know what she was doing
Will never go again for my self to her.

Although Ashley did an excellent job for my daughter’s hair - she listened, understood, gave suggestions and did what was expected.
