Such a wonderful café in the Queen West village. Fresh delicious pastries and sandwiches with excellent coffee. Perfect spot after some retail therapy.

I purchased the tiramisu cake for my girlfriend’s birthday yesterday and I had high hopes based on the recommendation I received for this place but was disappointed once we actually cut the cake and tried it. Unfortunately it was not fresh and it tasted sour. Price is also on a higher side and definitely not worth it

Not only are the Eclairs amazing (aesthetic AND delicious), but the owner goes out of his way to make you feel welcomed. A must visit in Toronto!

The white walls make their desserts stand out more. Delicious pastries, ganach, cakes, seasonal desserts, the list goes on.

They had mini croissants / apple streudels which were super cute!

My review is related more to the service than the product (which I have never tried). I received a box of eclairs for my birthday, and there was no details regarding allergy information on the box. I checked online but wasn’t sure which eclairs I had received. Since I have severe allergies and didn’t want to take a chance, I immediately contacted the company and they took days to get back to me. When I finally did receive a call back, they told me that the eclairs are probably not good anymore and I should throw them out. They also told me that the eclairs need to be refrigerated (which it also never said on the box). Most places like this would try to make it up to the customer, but this one clearly didn’t care. Very disappointed.

Très bonnes patisseries. Le propriétaire était très sympathique, le lieu est propre et il y a plusieurs choix, surtout en termes d’éclaires. C’est quand même assez dispendieux, mais en termes de qualité/prix ça en vaut la peine! Je recommande le mango/passion, le lime ainsi que le caramel beurre salé!

Wonderful aesthetic, we only tried the eclairs and though they look beautiful, I was slightly underwhelmed by the flavor. It seemed the bottom was slightly stale, will be back to try the cakes.

Came here today for the first time, and I was blown away at how fresh and good the eclair was. I also ordered three macaroons, which were also fresh and delicious.
Prices on the fair to high side, but well worth the price for a once in a while, treat.
The staff were friendly she helped me out with the flavours of the macaroons.
They have a returning customer!

I stumbled upon this amazing spot today. Nugateau had a wonderful display of treats from eclairs to cakes to macarons. The pistachio eclair was divine. I highly recommend!

Been going to this place for years. All the cakes and confectionery are beautifully decorated and taste great. The selection of éclairs are amazing. My favourites are Romeo (praline) and Juliette (raspberry and chocolate). If you buy the box of six they waive the tax. Recently tried their Banoffee cake (contains nuts) and enjoyed it; a lot of textural contrast and different layers of flavours. My only critique is that it was just a midge too sweet. In terms of online ordering, it was super easy and had availability for cakes the next day. Lastly, I like that they offer different sized cakes to cater to different party sizes. One thing that surprised me was that despite how small the place is, they do offer sit down as an option (two tables).

Super Cute shop, eclairs where delicious and light. I got the roseablle and pistachio eclairs highly recommend if you don't want anything overly sweet. Staff were very nice and gave a lot of recommendations.

Today I went to pick out some eclairs for my birthday. I picked up a box of 6
different eclairs. First impressions-exterior was nothing stunning but alright. Interior wise it is a smaller shop but the display is worthy to call it a patisserie shop and eye catching. The box and paper bag used to carry the eclairs were pretty like a piece of art. Each eclair came in its own paper sleeve and plastic sleeve for transportation in the box. Safe to say all eclairs remained intact and beautiful once home. There were plenty of eclairs to choose from and I did ask for some assistance to complete my box of 6.

My husband and I drove home more than 1 hr away in anticipation of enjoying these. I gave it 2 stars for the major fact that we paid a premium for these eclairs ranging from $8 -$9 and received an eclair that was day old. The pastry itself was hard compared to the 5 others on my box. The chestnut cream was hard and fell off when we took a bite. I did notice a difference in colour of the chestnut cream in 2 of the Mont Blanc eclairs. The colour of the chestnut cream was off ; it was darker compared to the other 6 Mont Blanc eclairs in the display where the cream was lighter in colour. I just assumed the chestnut cream was handmade fresh daily and some variation is due to it being made fresh and from a different batch.

I can say without a doubt we received a day old eclair. Total disappointment in the fact that you would knowingly sell day old pastry. Most premium bakeries I know do not sell day old goods and if any bakery were to they would clearly label as “day old” and reduce the price. If you call yourself a premium patisserie shop - you should NOT continue this practice.

You were the second of three patisserie shops (Aux Merveilleux de Fred & Delysees) we visited in Toronto on the same day and the other 2 were fresh, delicious and delightful to the eye and palette.

Just feeling like your weren’t honest and I had to find out once I got home. So I guess it’s buyer beware.

I've come here a couple times now and have had the pistachio and lemon meringue. The lemon curd in the lemon meringue eclair was quite tart (which I appreciate), and the meringue topping was a good counterbalance. Classic combo for a reason. The pistachio one was cool too, but the pistachio flavour wasn't as strong as I'd like. Packaging held up very well during my trip home on the TTC.

This is my favorite sweets place in Toronto that I have to stop by whenever I am around. I still hope one day they would come to Montreal. Absolutely yummy, fresh, sweet and have kind unique mixtes tastes.

Definitely a modern take on the French pastry. I would label it as “fusion dessert”. The eclairs were not short of gorgeous. Each have their own personality. The shop caters to the taste palettes of the multicultural Toronto community they are situated in. A must try is the Romeo! The ganache was just lovely if you’re a fan of hazel nut

I also ordered isaphan. Honestly, Isaphan was not great, very dry old tasting shell but the cream was okay. I also ordered two eclairs: Pistachio and Tiramisu. Both has so much cream and the dough wasn’t tasty neither spongy. Overall, pricy desert with good presentation but the taste is suboptimal.

Wonderful staff, cozy environment, delicious pastries, few years ago I was there and I experience the same, feeling joy and few days ago again I was there and I refreshed my memory again to eat those beautiful pieces of art, thanks to all people there working hard to gift us the feeling of joy.

Everyone loved the cake. The staff was kind and gave us candles. I liked that you can plan pick up time. Overall a lovely cake.

These are the most pretty and tasty eclairs I’ve ever had! Sooo good! I personally recommend the coconut passion one! It’s definitely worth the price!

We got an assortment of eclairs for my friends bachelorette; it was amazing. We had it almost 24hr later, yet the pastry, creams and flavours were incredible. Will be back!

Be wary ordering from here via the apps! I ordered a dozen eclairs from DoorDash as a gift. When my friend messaged me to thank me for the macarons, I was confused. They delivered 12 macarons instead of 12 eclairs. When I called to correct the issue, they blamed it on the app sending the wrong order. After stating the order clearly says 'eclairs' they finally took accountability but could only offer to contact DD for a partial refund. Since I paid service fees/delivery fee, I essentially spent $25 for a $2 HBD plaque and the wrong order. Very disappointed especially since it was gift.

Amazing customer service! The cakes and eclairs are so fresh, beautiful and very unique. Popped in to pick up a cake last minute and they even put on a Happy Birthday sign! It was so light and creamy at the same time. I highly recommend this place.

First of all they're super slow, we've been waiting for almost half an hour to get two coffees and we were the only customers there.
Second, I like the taste of my lemon eclair so much but honestly were not fresh at all,
Third, he poured a large cup with small coffee and apologized for that because they didn't have a small cup, so it would be better to fill it up to respect the customer not give them a half empty cup, lol.
Totally we didn't like the place.

We had two of their eclairs.tiramisu and salted caramel with passionfruit. Both very dry and very bland taste for both of them. I had tiramisu the night before so I was expecting similar quality. But it was very disappointing, especially for how much we pay for each. And there is no way I could taste salted caramel.

Stumbled upon this place while out for a walk and had to try something. The pistache royal was delicious, I wish I got more than one!

This is insanely delicious for a very reasonable price. You can tell from the moment you bite into it how many years of delicate culinary study it takes to make this art. Thank you for a wonderful Valentines cake.

Tried macrons from the place and din like them at all. All flavours were way too sweet and very dry. All types tasted almost the same. Not worth the price. Way too expensive. Disappointing.

Its a good place n great selection of eclairs. Had one simple plain chocolate eclair once from a local shop in Paris and that taste made a lasting impression. So when I bit into the Nugateau eclair i was expecting that and it dint quite hit that mark. But over all their presentation and flavor choices are awesome.

I just asked for what’s most popular since it was my first time and the appearance threw me off but Wow so good!

Lovely hostess, beautiful presentation. Eclairs are made at that location, not brought in from another location. And most importantly, these desserts are incredibly
tasty - almost felt bad for devouring these works of art!

I was a bit disappointed with this experience. I ordered a birthday cake but I couldn't find it on uber eat to size the cake and the picture on it was so close that I thought the cake was 6-8" but when I received it, it was very small. My palm, like a slice of an 8" cake, was quite disappointing to me.

They use old pricing for deceiving people. I ask to talk to manager but the person working ask me to email. I bought 30 since i was in a hurry but not gonna try again due to this. BEWARE!

Incredibly beautiful and delightful spin on eclairs. A unique offering of flavours and toppings carefully applied that you feel like you are indulging in edible art! The summer berry had a mini macaron and it was delicious!

Gorgeous desserts that are meticulously crafted! Each eclair flavour is authentic and exactly as described. My favourite eclair was the Belle Violette! The staff at the store are super friendly and helpful at recommending flavour combinations.

Not only was Nugateau's interior absolutely stunning, giving a fancy aura, but the eclairs were the best I have had! The service was excellent. The staff was beyond friendly and catered to me very well. I tried about five different flavours in the eclairs and each one was better than next. Though my favourite was definitely the caramel. We also tried their macaroons and they were super yummy, to say the least. One could easily taste the authenticity and quality ingredients in each bite. 10/10 would recommend Nugateau for those with a sweet tooth like me. Definitely returning soon!

Nugateau Patisserie makes the only bougie dessert that I enjoy, and I deeply appreciate that. There are simply no words to fully express how much we adore the Red Velvet cake, we've purchased it three different times for the house since they started carrying it.

Nugateau is becoming my favorite place to get fancy deserts. The options are great and it is calories worth spent. The customer service is top notch too.
The price is steep but you get the value.

My wife ordered a cake online from this store, and I just got it by delivery. Guys, $45 for this piece of cake is just ridiculous! Shame on you! 750 gr of what are you charging for? This is the first and definitely LAST time i order a cake from you. Could also be the best of Ontario, but please be honest with the price, or at least in the description add the size or the weight of the cake. I’m pretty sure you will close your door after 6 months! This is definitely out of market!
You are selling this cake $60 per kg!

Amazing Selection, great flavours. I see some reviews here for taste and size but honestly after talking to the staff I realized the amount of work goes behind each eclair is incredible, they said it takes one hour for eclairs to bake and each one is hand filled and decorated individually.just crazy labour and time, but they are worth the time and money.must try!
Their cakes are so delicious and yes don't go by the weight/price of these cakes, these are French Entremets with layers of goodness and exploding with flavours made with expensive Valrhona chocolate. This shop is for those customers who crave handcrafted artisan delicacies.definitely can't be compared to other bakeries or loblaws. LOL good work guys your are the best

Have had their eclairs a number of times and have nothing but nice things to say about them. They have a lovely variety, interesting flavours and the staff are very nice. They even gave us a random extra cookie, with our purchase. Support your locals and see the difference.

Went all out for Christmas, went for the "Log" very very small for the price.
Had 3 eclairs and also very small and nothing special. They do get stars for outstanding service and fast pickup system and for being open during the pandemic.

Yum my family got these before with an intention to save me a piece but ended up eating them all. I finally got to try them this time and understand why.

Amazing variety of eclairs. The most I've ever seen. They are extremely light on the stomach and fresh! Their macarons are amazing too! The best part is that all their baked goods are sourced with FISH gelatin and not pork gelatin (as most bakeries do). This makes them 100% halal/kosher!

Amazing eclair place. Feels like in France, pricey, but expected. (8$ per eclair). Huge flavours and variety.

Very instagramable items and would be a nice choice for a gift. I tried the box of 6 and some but the taste was mediocre. It’s a bit pricy but it’s understandable since this is located in downtown.

I personally prefer authentic eclairs so this place is not for me.

We stopped here Saturday 19th around 7pm or so and got some eclairs and merengue cookies. As we were walking out the door the man working cussed us out and said obscenities under his breath. I heard everything. I will never go back to a horrific place like this! Besides the eclairs didn’t taste good AT ALL! Nor the merengue cookies! Outrageously priced trash! No one in my family would eat it!

My review is not related to the quality of the product, it mainly addresses staff behavior.
As I was entering the store, I noticed three staff members speaking to each other in close quarters without masks. When they saw me, they immediately put their masks on.
As a high risk individual, it makes me very uncomfortable to purchase anything where staff only follow the rules of public health and safety when they think they are seen.
This is a poor reflection on the business as a whole.
I gave two stars because the pastries really looked beautiful. But I will not be purchasing anything from there.

Astonishing! The taste is magical. The sugar ratio is just right on the point. (I just wonder how can u guys do it this great? !) The sweetness is so elegant (that’s the word!) but not even over sweet a little. This is not food but a epic ode.

Excellent quality and sooo pretty! I left a note asking if something could be done for a birthday to the online order.and they didn’t disappoint! I got a “happy birthday” sign on one the eclairs. Thanks. First time and definitely not last!

Very beautiful pastries with good designs and craftsmanship. Great concepts. Taste was okay. Pastry could be crispier and softer.

Bought 1 eclair and 1 dessert from their smaller popup near Pusateris. I spent over $20 for 2 things and they were very disappointing. Both were beautiful to look at, but tasted bland. The eclair barely had any flavour and the other dessert (pisatchio and raspberries inside a pastry) was instagram worthy but also had no real yum taste. Perhaps its better at the storefront location but I will not be trying. I'll stick with desserts from elsewhere.

I've given these eclairs as gifts to so many friends, they never fail to wow people! They're the fanciest and tastiest eclairs you'll ever eat! The service goes above and beyond too. Once, they put a wrong eclair in a box, and I found out only when I got home. They still gave me a free eclair in return for their mistake. That's how much they care for their customers.

So pretty and so cute! The cookies and milk eclair came with a little container with milk! Very good, not overly sweet
