Number One Chinese Take Out

I was going to order here for 1st time. Not after I read the reviews. Your response was forgetting an order? It was more than forgetting it was how long it took to get the order. I love Cathay house they are having problems with deliveries because of construction. I am reading my reviews about food dropped on floor, people don't say this if is not true? ! I worked in restaurants when I was young, they pick food up off floor, they use open containers of oil to hold outside door open.

Tender Beef with Ginger and Onion is excellent. The beef is tender, and the unique flavor of ginger and onion is distinct. The perfect combination of ingredients creates a delicious and nutritious meal. Definitely worth trying!

Owner dropped food and did not throw it.he put it back to the plate. You can see how they prep through the door inside.

Food taste is below average.

You can get better food for the same price somewhere else like "Asian Garden" on prince of whales.or just go to china town which is not far from this restaurant.

Ordered food at 330.at 430 not here so called. I call somehow registered as pick up order. 530 I call back as no food. He just left 1st place is yours. This place is 5 min drive. I didn't get food cause I have sick kid at home.food comes at 550. Missing one dish out of 5. I call at 555. I call at 655 again, driver on way. 715 missing dish still not here. Food that I did get.chicken fine, chicken and broccoli ok but too salty (kids comment). Garlic eggplant. Maybe 20% of dish was eggplants, rest various veggies not advertised (and not wanted). Singapore noodles.prawns way over cooked and fishy tasting. Waste of $, waste of time. Regret giving this place a try after disappointed with salt&pepper tofu and fried rice last time.

Very friendly lady that owns the place, and my daughter and I have been going there for 19 years, and I can't say enough, food is Number 1.delicious.

This not the first time this happens. It's like every 2nd time I call and place an order for delivery BEWARE if it's a guy that answers because he cannot take orders properly. I'm always missing an item. Tonight when I called to let them know, a lady answered and argued with me I didn't order the item and hung up on me. I called again and she said I was wasting her time and next time I order to repeat my order and ask them to confirm my order and hung up on me again. Well guess what I will not order from there again. Plus the food is not like it use to taste.

Ordered delivery tonight. Couple of things were forgotten. Nothing huge. They were wonderful and actually delivered the missing items. Food as always was delicious.
