My experience at Nuovo Artistic Photography was amazing, so freeing and uplifting. Nathalie was my makeup artist and she did an amazing job, enhanced my natural look. Just beautiful. My overall experience was great and all the ladies make you feel so comfortable and confident. I would do this again!

I had Valeria for my hair and make up! She’s spectacular, honestly the sweetest soul and funniest person! I highly recommend her for any occasion!

I had Bailey for my photographer and she made me feel at ease and comfortable and just made the entire experience fun!

Thr experience was so great, everyone was very professional but also welcoming. I had my makeup done by Natalie and was phenomenal. I loved the end result and it really made me feel beautiful. Allie was amazing at making me feel comfortable and being patient with me. It's definitely a once in lifetime experience but I feel worth it to see yourself from an artist's view.

I always see nuovo pop up and my Facebook instagram but I was so scared to book appointment cause didn't know if it was real cause it say free and we all know nuttin in Canada is for me but I when ahead and contact them to see how it goes and it was the best decision I made everyone there let me feel welcome there were so kind Alexei did my birthday shoot she was amazing in every way u could think of she make me feel comfortable in my skin she make me laugh Im really glad I did it I be going bk there for sure thank u team for the best experience of my life

Hi, my name is Mounica, I recently did a free photoshoot for my birthday it was an amazing experience. All the staff are so welcoming and celebrating me. I had the most wonderful time with the make-up artist Valeria and the photographer Lexa, who are extremely talented, beautiful and strong women. I had so much fun doing my shoot with you.

I’m very happy I made it! The atmosphere is amazing, very very friendly and comfortable. The photographer was great, she guided all photo session and encouraged and complimented you, so you really feel beautiful and confident. All ladies employees are very friendly, respectful and pleasant. I definitely recommend every lady to have this experience. The photo studio really delivers what they states. All work done professionally and at best quality. I enjoyed it so much!

10/10 customer service. Amazing staff amazing environment you will leave feeling empowered and it's so comfortable. Even when I had a few things I need to sort out they made me feel loved. Honestly 100% recommend. Just be aware of your budget at the end of the birthday shoot.

Oh and Holly was the best friend energy vibes you never knew you needed as a photographer. Truly professional.

Fantastic photo studio! I cannot say enough good things about the whole experience! From the moment I walked into the studio I felt very comfortable and welcomed. My photographer did a stunning job and was very helpful, supportive and professional. I received my photos quicker thank the 10-15 days promised, which I thought was a decently quick turn around to begin with. I am blown away by each an every photo I received! Lastly, the customer service was great. There was an error with my invoiced and when I emailed to have it corrected I received a very quick response and it was corrected right away. I highly recommend this studio!

Like many people- I signed up for the free birthday shoot. And wow! I’d 100% recommend this, it was such a great experience and I’d do it again in a heartbeat… it really is a 5 star experience right until the end (which is why I’m giving 3 stars)

I’ll start with the good: while the office is in a sorta sketchy location I promise you it’s legit, beautiful and welcoming inside once you arrive. I was offered a range of beverages (wine, champagne, coffee, tea etc) - since it was 8: 30 in the morning I opted for coffee. The makeup artist was Valeria and she did a great job on my makeup- she asked if I had any requests but I was happy to let her do her thing. The makeup process was relaxing and calming. After my makeup was done she offered me another drink while I waited for the photographer (with a straw to be lipstick friendly). Soon Gabbie introduced herself as the photographer. While I’d soon learn that Gabbie is a incredibly talented photographer - her primary talent is being able to make people comfortable and she is definitely good at creating a unique experience where you feel like you’re old friends just deciding to take pictures- this allows you to feel completely comfortable and builds up your confidence. During the shoot Gabbie ensured consent was given and would instruct me on how to adjust my pose to be the most flattering. The photo studio itself is very impressive with reflective floors, lighting, and even lazers to help you position your body. Gabbie was great at directing me through the process and capturing stunning shots. After the photo shoot I was met with a charcuterie board of fruits, crackers, cheese and meats while I waiting to view my photos.

Here’s where things took a turn. Obviously the free birthday shoot is a marketing strategy and they offer you one free photo. That’s fine, naturally I was expecting the part where they offer for you to purchase past the 1 free photo. Let me stress that these photos sell themselves- they’re high quality beautiful photos and if you’re in a place where you have disposable income then this is great for you. However I’m low income and for me, I’m not in a position to purchase luxury photos over rent and groceries. Here’s where the 5 star experience goes down to a 3 star experience… considering that during the shoot they were incredibly good at respecting physical consent, they really do not have the same attitude towards financial consent. I’m not sure if this is a company issue or if this was just a aggressive sales person. I said no multiple times and in return I was faced with toxic sales strategies: guilt trips, manipulation, gaslighting, even making a invoice I didn’t consent too yet! Each time I said no and tried to eliminate photos the air got hostile (not sure how else to describe it but it felt like the sales person got more aggressive the more I reduced her potential sale). At the very end I had 3 photos i really liked- I decided to call my partner to ask about making this kind of purchase but they didn’t pick up. That’s when the sales person tried rushing the sale by making an invoice I hadn’t agreed to yet -that was the final straw- I put my foot down and decided to only go with the free photo and not purchase. The feeling of being manipulated and bullied into buying is something I was very uncomfortable with. She tried a “you’ll regret it speech” but I stood my ground. In the end when I was driving home I was very happy I only went with the free photo. It was such a great experience for me and I’m grateful to have just got the one photo because I genuinely am not in a place to have afforded the other photos. So I did not regret my decision. That being said if I were in a place where I had a disposable income I would definitely have purchased some photos. (Tip: read the 1 star reviews- they’re 100% true as they address this same issue)

My advice to the company is really only one thing- the toxic sales strategy needs to be addressed. The pictures really do sell themselves- the bullying, guilt trips and hostile manipulation is not at all necessary.

Nathalie is a sweetheart, I lover my makeup for my photoshoot! She’s so talented and passionate with her work, I would definitely recommend her!

Had a wonderful and memorable time at Nuovo artistic photography. From the moment you walk through the door with a warm welcome to the moment your walk out. Very hospitable and empowering energy. My makeup artist, Natalie, was such a sweetheart. She made me feel beautiful even before the makeup application and did such a wonderful job that I received so many compliments when I was out that night! I highly recommend this studio and experience to every woman out there.

This is something that I never had before. I was nervous about it, but now I glad that I chose to come.
It was a great experience, all the staffs are nice and professional. They've provided delicious coffee and lovely snacks as well. Nathalie did the make and hair for me, it was perfect, I really like it.

I have always had body dysmorphia, and had recently had hip surgery, so this is the heaviest I’ve weighed. I truly wanted to connect with my body and not avoid pictures or mirrors or just being naked anymore…I’ve been completely ashamed and self conscious on how I look.

It is such a liberating and empowering experience & I’m literally on a natural high! Valeria did an exceptional job with my hair and makeup; and Gabby was THE best photographer to work with. I didn’t even think about sucking my tummy in, or all the things I try to hide when getting a picture taken. I was focused on the poses and just had fun.

I was absolutely blown away by the pictures and couldn’t believe that was ME! The UNEDITED pictures were gorgeous and I am still stunned at how amazing they are. I can not wait to see them edited and get my steel print and album!
