Such a great bakery. The almond cake was delicious. I loved their grinch cookie and chocolate chip peppermint cookie. I cant wait ti return and try more

The food is very good. Chicken pita was slightly dry, more tzatsiki sauce needed? Service was fast and very friendly. There are only a couple of tables for eat in, so the "atmosphere" is a line.

Delicious food! Their BLT is amazing, with perfectly cooked bacon. The quinoa salad is a must-try staple. And don't even get me started on the desserts – pure goodness! What sets them apart is the friendly staff and the warm family atmosphere. A delightful gem in Ottawa!

This place is hit and miss. I had the baklava and found it was soggy instead of flaky and stuffed full of nuts. I liked their lemon potatoes and wraps. The Tzatziki was unusually thick - like a cream cheese consistency. They are also missing some key items that I would have expected to see in a greek bakery like loukoumades. The cookies are good.
I would go back, but probably for lunch rather than dessert.

Not all multi-generational shops like this keep their edge but Nutty Greek definately has, and may even be getting better. Good example, we had 2 cookies squished together on *cilantro* icing from them the other day - and it was amazing.

The folks behind the counter are great and very inciteful. They even explained bakery tax law to me without much prodding, which is my kind of fun detail. It is probably yours too, since you live in Ottawa and probably work for the government.

I've never gotten anything bad here and all at a very good prices. Stuff is always somewhere between solid to amazing for both traditional and playful new flavor profiles.

First time at bake shop for a gift certificate. Came our with more than that! I will go back for more.

Everything was perfect. The Pita Wrap is fresh and tastes very good. The Baklava and Cookie was also delicious.

The Nutty Greek Bake Shop is nothing short of amazing! It is a jewel in the city of Ottawa just off of Preston St on Rochester / Beech. Anna and The Papadopoulos Family know how to “do “ Greek. They ace everything that they make from the pastries, desserts, cookies (including sandwich cookies) to their salads, pita wraps, soups and other Greek delicacies. It’s always a treat walking into this store not only because of the great food but because of the warm and hospitable welcome one receives and the great atmosphere. One of the things that I love the most is how they mix the traditional with the unique - Ie Chocolate Fudge Baklava, Cheesecake Baklava or the recently added Lemon with Ricotta Bougatsa. Buyers beware - choosing only ONE item is sometimes not an option. Trust me!
I recently ordered a platter of mini / bite size Cheesecake Baklava and Feta Baklava with a Sour Cherry topping to bring to a gathering and they were a hit. Anna was very helpful and patient in helping me with my selection and order.
I wouldn’t hesitate ordering anything else from their menu if I were to hold an event or party.
Kudos to the Nutty Greek Bakery! You are so much more than just a bake shop!

Stop by at lunchtime for amazing Greek food. Be sure to try an “all dressed gyro”. Tasty and filling!

I usually go at lunch hour so typically busy but the staff are very efficient to keep the line moving. My fave is the chicken club pita, it's tasty, very filling & the price is very fair.

Very quick and friendly service, and
delicious gyro, souvlaki, spanakopita, garden salad. If you order the strawberry cheesecake, make sure you sit down to eat it, as it's so yummy you may faint. Also picked up a box of assorted pastries which look equally mouthwatering - we'll see if they doesn't send us into a coma.

Went to there during the tulip festival. There were still places to sit down and eat. The food came quickly and the cookies are very tasty. The staff are very friendly and helpful

A lot of the food here is dry or flavourless. Things here that are good: potatoes, quinoa, and tiropita. The sausage roll was absolutely vile and the chicken here is DRY! Having been to Greece, I know we can have better than the chicken they make here. Their cupcakes look nice but always taste stale.

Awesome spot with really tasty food, good coffee drinks and the best desserts! The staff is always so nice and the place is run very efficiently. A Nutty Greek takeout night is always a good night:) make sure to grab a few extra treats for the next day!

The chocolate cheesecake was delicious but the baklava was very disappointing. It crumbled and fell apart and was 90% walnuts. The pastry was soggy and tasted like paper. Hopefully we just got an off batch but I’m not eager to try it again.

When I worked in the area I ate here 2 days a week. Great wraps, salads and desserts. Glad to see it survived the pandemic.
