I recently visited this clinic, and this is the most disrespectful, unprofessional and unitelletcul doctor i have ever met. He should honestly change his profession and be a taxi driver since he clearly lacks competence. He was very lazy, rude and rushed through our whole session. Yet, he took his time with the other patients before me, listened to their concerns, provided helpful solutions and actually treated them with respect and kindness. (I know this because i could hear their entire appointment from my room) Maybe I didn't deserve a proper examination because of the color of my skin. I don't know, I guess black individuals are unworthy of compassion and medical care at this clinic. I find it hilarious that a sign in the room said "do not compare Google searches with my degree" but he, in fact, "GOOGLED a possible diagnosis" for me, printed off an article and told me I "might have this" instead of doing his f.g job and testing me. Seriously? Not to mention, he failed to do a thorough examination on me, ignored all my concerns, zero compassion, no blood work or other kinds of testing was suggested, and he did not ask me any substantial questions to determine the cause of my infection. You shouldn't be a doctor if you're incapable of caring for your patients equally. Absolutely unacceptable and ridiculous. Complete waste of my time. Would not reccomend this clinic. Very disappointing!

Excellent service, you need to register each time you come in. The clinic is opened on Jan 1 of every year in addition to all regular hours off course. One professional Doctor on site, you may wait if you came late. Recommended visit before 40 min of oppining.

The Asian black hair receptionist is Very RUDE (not the blonde hair not the Muslim one).
She hate to answer a single question.

Front desk is rude & nasty the Phillipina lady is rude & not professional at all & the old blonde fat lady in the front too is nasty they both have no manners! Not sure how the owner has them both still there! Horrible & totally unprofessional

The receptionist was impatient, impolite and unfriendly. If I would like to give them "0" instead of 1star.

The IPAD of the registration machine is outdated, and even the registration cannot be completed, but the receptionist blames the patient for improper use.

No one wants to deal with rude and unhelpful staff if you don't need to see a doctor.

I was threatened that if I didn’t delete my bad review the clinic wouldn’t take care of the patient. I didn’t know that a front desk receptionist can control who gets treated by the doctor, so I left the clinic, but I am writing this down so people know the truth of what happened.

The booking is done inside the office and also it’s a website that tells you what number has the patient inside and how many people are waiting for the appointment. I was told that waiting time for me was 1.5 hours. Based on the website- only 4 patients. Do not believe it! I had been waiting over 3.5 hours to see the doctor and my test results were missing. Not a place to go when you’re sick!

Easily accessible and Dr. Simon, who always see my son, is calm, polite, and supportive. The clinic is occupied by consultants, but am not sure if they have an adult clinician. Most of the clients there are below 18 years.

Please stay away. Front desk receptionist is extremely rude. I was a walk-in paient and signed in around 1130. She told me to come back in an hour which I did at 12: 30. Almost 2 and still havent seen the doctor.

The doctor on duty is sitting on his phone between appointments for awhile, and he waiting room is packed with people asking when they can be seen that have been waiting awhile like myself.

I asked the lady why she told me to come et 1230 and she got very defensive and rude. There's much better options in he area. Please avoid this dump.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. I tried to take my daughter here today and was refused because I forgot my mask. I had already lugged all 3 of my kids (under 5) in the rain back home twice - once because I forgot my children’s health card and once because I forgot my phone and wallet. I told the receptionist I would be a happy to wear a mask if she had one. She refused and said it says no mask no service on the door (as if that is a solution). Note, when I looked at the door signs on my way out (it was postered in signage so good luck trying to gleam important info without stopping to read an essay), I saw they don’t want you entering their clinic if you have any cold or flu symptoms. So good luck to anyone who is sick, this place is a joke! Who is worried about private health care when a supposed public option can deny you service for being sick? BTW, my daughter who I thought had a sore throat actually just had an ear infection. Good to know we almost gave this clinic Covid from her ear infection. Horrible horrible place that should not be allowed to operate

Let me start off by saying the doctors are great but the issue is with front desk. Absolutely horrific. No social skills whatsoever, they raise their voice at patients all the time. I have personally experienced that. Very rude and it really is unacceptable no one should be treated like that

The doctors here are great. The admin staff are downright awful from a patient's perspective. Expect a long wait (unless you go early in the morning). They have an automated computer system for signing in, but you have to do so in person, and it's a bit of a crapshoot if it's working or not on any given day. And it does not synch with their website so you can check you place in line (even though it says it does). There are signs everywhere saying they will not tolerate abusive behaviour, or you will be removed. Which is fair enough. In sure at a walk in clinic they get a lot of that sort of thing. All the more that kudos go to the doctors here; people are coming in already frustrated by pain or illness, then they are dealing with the admin staff, and long waits, and yet every time I've seen a doctor here they've been patient, compassionate and helpful.

We’ve been coming to this office for the last 9 years. Usually with my children who’s paediatrician is overwhelmed with the number of patients she has and therefore makes booking impossible. We only had good experiences with the different doctors and nurses. We go there for the doctors and not the receptionists.

Been going here for the past 15+ years. Very professional doctors and the team at Nymark always does their all to expedite the cumbersome processes of the canadian healthcare system

Waited outside for half an hour in a long line of about 15-20 people. It was 10: 07 when I got there.

I had the worst experience with this clinic few years ago with one doctor. He was extremely rude and racist ran me out of his office like a dog when I needed a sick note & medication due to my severe menstruation pain. He had no compassion and said to me “ I’m tired of you people trying to get sick notes to escape work get out! “ He opened the office door and ran me out as if I was a dog or beneath him. I ended up at the hospital and the doctors there told me to report him to the board. I know God will deal with him I even thought about suing this clinic for discrimination and mistreatment.still thinking about it. He needs not to be in practice such a horrible doctor.

Upon arrival I was not greeted by staff, instead I stood there in line assuming this was what I was supposed to do. The one woman at the desk boldly stated “why are these people standing here” referring to the patients waiting in a line at reception. It was odd. Once it was my turn, I was told if I don’t have a mask I must leave, I had no problem with putting on a mask, but none were provided (this is November 2022, very few places still require a mask and I did not have my own). Before giving me a chance to speak I was told that in fact they are busy and full and thus, closed for the day, this was 3: 30pm on a Wednesday, however online and posted on the door, the hours state they close at 5pm. Prior to my arrival I tried calling 3x with no response. The lady at the desk told me “come earlier next time” as to avoid this random closure. I have been a patient of Dr. B before and did not have any issues, but today was a big slap in the face. I hope they strive to do better in the future. This was a poor representation of proper healthcare.

Really nice location. Receptionists are super helpful and welcoming and try to get you in as quickly as possible. Waiting area is a bit old but besides that, everything is good. Doctors are super kind and understanding and dont rush you.

I have read almost all the reviews here, to tell the truth I did not have any problems with front desk or with dr Sonia Simon. I am the mother of twin boys, when I called for the first time clinic they directly accepted us, we didn’t have OHIP yet but they said just come. Our doctor is Sonia Simon, she is an amazing and very supportive person. Even when she is very very busy, she always finds time for us, she answers all our questions, she tries really hard to help me about all the details as I am the first time mom. People who work there are also helpful, i am the first time mom, sometimes I can be anxious about small things but at the clinic they really try to help. Even today I called them to book an appointment with dr Sonia Simon because my babies are sick, the lady from front desk was like ‘ oh mommy I will try to find a spot for both of your both’ and she wasn’t rude or anything else. And she made an appointment for us very quickly. So I am happy with our doctor, and with the clinic, I wish everyone will have the same experience as me.

Dr. Laith Barsoom is the worst doctor I have ever met. He dismissed all my concerns during my time of visit. I couldn’t even get the prescriptions that I needed. All I wanted was a refill! Please save yourself the trouble and avoid this clinic at all costs.

This is a walk-in clinic. You line up and wait and they'll take you as fast as they can. I truly can't complain. (They don't take online bookings) The staff is always pleasant and professional. I don't know why they have such low reviews because for those basic reasons you go there, I've never had a problem. My only issue is that they close at 5, Monday to Friday and because they are so busy all day/every day, they take the last walk-ins by 4pm. Sat-Sun they are open from 10-2pm. It's my own problem that I prefer to go in later in the day so the times conflict with my schedule. So, if you're annoyed that you have to wait or you're the type of person that needs "RIGHT NOW" type service and you're more of a complainer, don't go here! Stop wasting their time! The doctors are attentive and supportive, especially DR WOODROW, he is my favourite! He's the best! I just wish he took on new patients! I've been happy here with services received and with the professionalism and personalized care of both the doctors and receptionists that work there. The place isn't modern or fancy but you're getting great health care and that's the best and most important part.

I always visit this clinic everytime I'am sick. I found this place helpful and the staff is very friendly.

This Medical Center is AWFUL! There are some good Doctors there but it is always a struggle when trying to see a Doctor. The struggle is always with the Front Desk Staff who are on power trips. They are always so unpleasant and RUDE beyond belief. They need to be reported and they need to be dealt with in a serious manner by their Employer. The Doctors need to know about this and deal with them. No sick person needs to be mistreated when trying to see a Doctor. I need to get all of their names and report them because there are more than one, and they all stick together and defend one another and that's why nothing is done to change this terrible situation. As you can see this Medical Clinic has a review of 2.8 and that is even too much for them. They deserve a BIG ZERO! As you can see below there are countless of terrible reviews so nothing has been done about this horrendous service we are given when sick, and trying to see a Doctor. Shame!
There are other walk in Clinics on Sheppard and they are much NICER to deal with.

EDIT: I am rather shocked to have recieved this response. At the very least, I was expecting an apology for this kind of maltreatment. I bet that the individual (s) who wrote a response from the clinic is one of the Front Desk Staff and clearly not any of the clinic's owners. I don't know where you are getting this information from about her giving her name out and the reasoning? I was there at the clinic a while back ready to see a Doctor when I got mistreated by her. But out of courtesy I removed your staff's name, however, I still stand by my review of which I am entitled to because that was my experience. This has nothing to do with booking appointments but is related to how rude and unprofessional your front desk staff are. This was not the first time I experienced this same unprofessional treatment at your clinic. You only need to look at most of the other reviews which reflect my experience exactly. If you can't see that, then you as completely mismanaging your clinic and ignoring a major issue that many have complained about and will continue to complain about until something is done about it.

Worst stuff don’t have any patient care uses time for money it’s very unfortunate I stayed with them for more than 4years because of Dr Sonia Simon but the stuff unpredictable, unprofessional and lack of honesty always disrespected and always raised their voice glad to be free from their abuse.

Haven’t seen a doctor I’m not gonna judge a doctor but the receptionist there needs to lose her job extremely disrespectful unprofessional She wouldn’t give me her name it’s OK I understand but she should be ashamed of herself this is why I can see the one stars of this clinic

Always liked Dr Simon. She is great with kids. Been coming here for a few years now. Automated check-in system is great.

The Doctor are good and very patience to listen to your concerns. However, it is pain to deal with the rest of the staff and specially with the receptionist.

In my case, we miss the receptionist call to confirm the appointment due to work related activities. However, we left the voice message confirming the same that we will be coming to the clinic.

The receptionist didn't bother to listen to their voice mail or even bother to call us back and straight away cancelled the the appointment without any notifications.

It was a very bad experience since getting an appointment is difficult, the clinic don't operate on Weekends, You have a take a day off just to know that your appointment has been cancelled.if you are short of time then this Clinic is definitely not a place to rely on: (

I wouldn’t recommend anyone to call or book an appointment here. When calling there is not chance you’ll get through to speak with someone. It’s all automatic response recorded at the prompt.

I came here as Parkwood Medical Clinic was closed. I'm happy i came here and will return. I spoke with Dr. Woodrow who was superb and I enjoyed speaking to his nurse, who counselled me on a follow up visit, and a busy but helpful receptionist.

Nymark medical Centre offers many medical services. I like that they have a walk in option and I can get the bloodwork needed before leaving. All the staff have been friendly and professional.

I waited for 2 hours for an appointment and ended up being yelled at by the unkind doctor.
It was a really sad experience
This is not my first nor second bad experience with them.
But this will be my last visit to that clinic.

I have been going to this clinic for few years and have dealt with morning doctors and staff. Dedicated doctor and very professional staff.

As a health care provider myself, I can assure the doctor asks irrelevant questions and is almost mentally ill? This causes long wait times.

Great staff great doctors wait time can be long but it is a busy walk in clinic but doctors take their time with each patience.

I have reported Dr Laith Barsoom to the college of physicians of ontario. Go to any other walk in clinic.

Terrible service. Lady I spoke to was rude and had no idea what she was talking about when I tried to ask if they did rabies titre tests, saying they do not exist.

Doctor here is so slow bc he just enjoys hearing himself talk. Prepare to wait 5 hours even though the receptionist says 1 hour. L Barsoon is SO UNPROFESSIONAL.

Worst clinic to visit. Most important thing is to remember that you have to wait for 2 hours despite you go early or late. Doctors speaks for 30 minutes with elderly patients and family with child but quickly finish with individual like me. He just finished mine in 5 minutes, then what the hell i have waited outside for 1 hour and inside for half hour for doctor to arrive. I must tell you to shout on receptionist asap you reach there. She and doctor does not deserve 1% respect from patients. Talk rudely as much as possible if you don't have choice to visit. Second important thing that when doctor will denying to give you correct medicine walk away and complaint ohip to take licence of each doctor and kick that receptionist asap. P. S. I wanted to give half star but there is not option like that.

My whole family is visiting this walk-in-in clinic for a long time due to those good doctors how to take care of patients with respect and love.

In this past year, I got cancer and always had many health problems due to the side effects of the chemo and radiation treatments. Doctors in this clinic always gave me lots of help with care, time to exam me and right medicines to cope with my symptoms.
Although I usually needed to wait for one to two two hours, it was worth to wait to see good doctors with care and love.

The receptionist was very good too to tell me to come back one hour later for my appointment after I registered at the counter. I didn’t have to stay inside the clinic for a long time. Therefore, if you only saw a few people inside the clinic because some of the patients were out and would come back before their appointments. Please don’t blame on the receptionist didn’t let you in or registered.

All walk-in clinics are busy, especially on holidays. Two-hour waiting time is absolutely normal comparing to seven-hour staying at the Emergency of hospitals.

Regarding the fees the clinic charges, those are all the same in other clinics in Toronto. No matter they are Family doctors ‘ clinics or Walk-in ones. Those are normal charges to pay doctors when OHIP doesn’t cover them. We have “No Free Service”to visit doctors in Canada or any countries!

I've had such horrible experiences over the last 10 years I've been coming here. Doctors absolutely do not care about you. When I moved I started seeing doctors who know how to talk to patients and don't get annoyed while I'm explaining my symptoms or asking questions, and now that I've moved back I had one final experience here that was as sorry as the last.

One time when I was 16 I came in to talk about my depression for the first time and the doctor straight up told me he was considering calling the police. This obviously freaked me out and I came back the next day smiling and pretending that I felt better. I didn't seek help for my depression after than until many years later after a suicide attempt.

Absolutely terrible clinic.

The stuff made me wait for more than 30 mins and while waiting she told me 3 times about extra charges for my visit. She only takes cash so I had to use the atm which required 3 dollar extra charge each time. If you are going to pay by yourself this is probably the worst place since for consultation only it charges 120. If you need a medical note you need to pay extra 25 and if it’s from your school then 25 extra charge again. Also I don’t follow the logic here since extra charges are not covered in OHIP but I’m not using it. Now I just want to know if there’s any place I can report this clinic

They supposed to close at 9: 30 pm. I arrived at 9: 15 pm, but the receptionist refused to let me in, although the Dr.was still inside and that I explained to her that I’m sick and I drove from far because of the urgent need to see a doctor. I will never come back to that place!

Doctors are good here, but the wait time to be seen as a walk in patient at any time of the day is INHUMANE. I do not recommend to go there for a walk in.

Misleading info about scheduled hours of operation. It is dissapointing to drive to the clinic onlyto find that they are closed.

It was 6: 45 when I arrived and when I entered there was a long note on receptionist saying they don't accept new patience and I thought it meant new patience as for family doctors (since my family doctor has that as well), as I was confused I was ignored by the receptionist and I kept saying excuse me.hello? And she kept ignoring me and I was shocked for what I was seeing and I looked around and people were shaking their head and then she looked at me as if she couldn't believe seeing me and I said hi I wanted to see the doctor and wanted to know how long should I wait and she said "we have enough people until 9 pm" and there are literally only 5 people in the clinic I don't understand how is it possible 5 people take 2 hours and 15 minutes? No wonder people are complaining they have to wait for so long.really disappointed.

Dr. Alloo is charismatic and sweet, I grew up with him as my family doctor. I switched clinics when I moved but it was partially because I got tired of dealing with the surly women at reception. You can't be incompetent AND have an attitude, pick one.

I have been coming to this clinic for few years now and Dr Adien Woodrow is outstanding. I would recommend Nymark Medical Centre. I read all the negative comments about the wait time, Its important to note that any good clinic there will be some wait time. These doctors do take their time with each and every patients, and I like that. Other clinics rush their patients, because its a numbers game, not Nymark. If you go to a clinic and your in and out within 10 minutes, that should be a red flag, find another clinic.

Dr. Laith Barsoom was very careful and took his time examining and explaining to us my daughter's eye lid infection. It was well worth the long wait.

Dr. DEINA is very knowledgeable and good to discuss issues with, however the secretary (the Asian lady) is very rude.

Very poor service, long wait times, and rude staff. I will not return here next time I need a walk-in
