I had the wonderful opportunity to attended a few Indigenous workshops facilitated by Sarah at Oak Park Neighbourhood Centre. It was such a beautiful space to learn in and very welcoming. The staff were very kind. The workshops were full of teachings and such a wonderful experience to learn from the Elders as well as the other facilitators. I would love to attend more events there! Very grateful to have come across such a welcoming and inclusive space!

I've been to a handful of Indigenous workshops here, hosted by Sarah S! With each event and workshop, I fell in love with the sense of community and connectedness! I loved every minute of being present with oneself and with the surroundings around me. I looked forward to each event to attend and I hope there will be more! OPNC is a great location for wellness and community!

I have visited the Oak Park Neighbourhood centre on several occasions and I marvel at the work they do and the impact of this special place on the neighbourhood. It should be considered a model that other communities should emulate.

This centre is the most caring, open-hearted, welcoming place. There is no other place on earth that I would rather go to. The staff always go above and beyond. If you ever need support, or even someone to just talk to, their door is always open. I would rate this place 100000000 stars.

My family has been part of the Oak Park community for the past 6 years. We have had the opportunity to benefit from many of the OPNC programs and services. We have always found the staff to be helpful and professional. We feel privileged to have this great resource in our community!

I learned about OPNC ~11 years ago and have become an advocate to making sure all new parents know about the great services they offer. This place was my go-to during my mat leave and happy to see friends also enjoy it!

There is not a more caring agency anywhere. The entire team would literally bend over backwards to help anyone who needs it no matter what their financial or social situation is. They have an amazing facility that they share with the entire community and a wonderful hub for our North Oakville Community. I am proud to be a volunteer and charter member of this organization that I am immensely proud of. It is impossible to properly describe OPNC here in words, you have to experience it to understand what a special place it is.

A valuable resource for our community, where all can enter to seek information and help on a variety of topics, without judgement. When someone approaches me with concerns of a social ill of which is beyond my reach as a local politician, I always know I can depend upon the people of OPNC to help resolve the matter with patience, kindness and care.

Hi, Oak Park Neighbourhood Centre is the only place where you walk in and no question isn't answered. It's a place when I needed someone to talk to after my seperation. They have Wednesday's group's that was recommended to me. I went, and it was empowering. It's a place when you are in need of food. It's there for our youth, and our children. I thank you Michelle Knoll for having a place like Oak Park in our community!

Oak Park Neighbourhood Centre is the most caring, inclusive centre I have ever visited. Each staff carries and shares an enormous level of compassion, and their doors are truly always open to provide warmth, comfort and help towards the public. I would not have had the opportunities I have now to become a better version of myself if it weren't for OPNC supporting me. In a perfect world, every city would have meaningful organizations such as this one.

Oak Park Neighbourhood Centre is a place where all are welcome, supported and provided with resources that make immediate differences in the lives of families and children. From preschool programs, after school programs and low income supports, Oak Park Neighbourhood Centre is a true community within a community.
