100% recommend this chiropractor clinic. Ive been seeing Dr. Vanessa for just about 1 year now and i feel so much better. She l really listened to me and my concerns.
Now my chronic headaches are gone, my posture has improved immensely, even my neuralgia has gotten way better. Best decision i could of done for myself!

I had been battling neck and back pain for years, hesitant to try chiropractic care. After exhausting other options, I finally visited Oaktree Chiropractic (and Dr. Vanessa). It was a decision I wish I had made sooner! Thanks to her expertise, I'm now pain-free and have regained significant neck mobility. My posture has also seen a remarkable improvement. The Oak tree heath center is always well kept, clean and you always get a warm welcome at the register along with some hot tea. I started going there for chronic issues that plagued my day to day living and made me dynamically disabled. Since my first treatment my level of pain has dimmed down considerably and helped me participate with more ease and independence in my daily activities. I have been totally ridden of some of my symptoms and ailments. Dr Martin always listens to your issues and precisely targets them. Which is very much appreciate. After each session I always feel great relief. Overall my experience at the establishment has provided solutions to many of my aches and pains longterm and short term.

Martin Perras has been a life saver for me. I came there in so much discomfort and he has done an amazing job getting me healthy again. The location is awesome, the environment is amazing, staff is incredible and Martin is the bomb. Thanks again Martin for helping me

When I came to Oaktree, I was new to Chiropractic care and was desperate to work on improving my forward head posture. I have been a patient of Dr. Vanessa's for over 6 months now and with the help of adjustments in addition to my home care program, I have seen progress that I had not seen with other forms of care. I have been adjusted by both practitioners at the Lisgar location and they are very friendly and reassuring throughout the treatments. I especially appreciated that the care plan was adjusted according to my financial needs. Front desk staff is super friendly and quick to respond to emails/inquiries as well. I also love that there is free parking right across from the clinic. Highly recommend!

The Lisgar location is absolutely charming, easy to access even from out of town and the parking situation is great (some free spaces and LOTS of street parking). Friendly staff, easy appointment booking and flexibility if needing to reschedule.

Acupuncture was suggested to help with my IVF fertility journey and after some research I booked an appointment with Martin. Honestly one of the best decisions of my life!

He helped me achieve the perfect state of body and mind to help our last embryo implant and, next thing you know, I’m pregnant!

He even went out of his way to accommodate an extra appointment the day of the procedure, for which I am so very grateful for.

I cannot thank Martin and the Oaktree team enough!

Dr. Vanessa is very professional. When she works on spines her hands are as gentle as cashmere, but strong enough to crush watermelon when she needs to get into those hard places ️ ️ ️ ️ ️

I have now been to 4 chiropractors - 2 prior to Dr. Vanessa and 1 afterwards - and I can say this has been my worst experience with a chiropractor clinic by a lot.

Firstly - they will push expensive packages on you. She wanted me to come in 3 times a week for 6 months at a cost of around $3000. When I said I couldn't afford that, she reduced the amount slightly, but the pressure to get a package never stopped my entire length there. I do not know if I would need 3x a week for 6 months as I could have improved quickly. All 3 of the other chiropractors I've been too, do both pay as you go and also see how you are improving to adjust lengths in-between sessions as needed. Other chiropractors also say this is an outdated practice to push packages like this on to patients.

Secondly - there is no privacy. You are in a room with another table and an open waiting room that looks into the treatment beds. Typically there is another person waiting on the bed while you get your treatments. Even one day, the patient next to me continuously stared at me during the treatment, making me feel uncomfortable. Other chiropractors only take one patient at a time and have private rooms. At least a screen between the two beds would help but private rooms are much desired.

Thirdly - it is overpriced for the treatments you get. Drop tables and an automatic activator are used. No manual movements or examinations are completed by the doctor unless you are paying for a special intro or follow-up session. Other chiropractors every session will move your joints around to see the agility/range of motion and adjust the treatments to that. Not here, you are basically thrown into their machines and a generic treatment is done. The sessions are 5 minutes compared to about 20-30 at other doctors offices. They clearly try to jam through as many people as they can as possible.

Dr. Vanessa is nice and did help a bit but the whole system and processes there are horrible. If she opened up her own practice and made it more personalized treatments as other chiropractors offer, I would visit her, but never Oaktree again.

I had chronic pain for over TWO YEARS after a freak accident. My wrist was very weak and wouldn't let me do daily tasks. I was skeptical about acupuncture but boy was I wrong! Martin listened to me and asked me all the important questions. 2 months later, my wrist is almost back at 100%! I couldn't believe it. Highly recommend this place. The staff is nice, the venue is clean and the results speak for themselves! Thanks Oaktree!

I have been going to Oaktree Lisgar location since September 2018!
Dr Emilie and Dr. Vanessa and the whole team at Oaktree are all so wonderful and knowledgeable.
I first came to the clinic with chronic neck pain, headaches and sinus issues.
I was drawn them specifically as they offer x-rays and continual progress reports which I truly appreciate to monitor and keep track of how far I’ve come. I’m able to work and be active without debilitating neck pain now and my headaches are gone. It’s such a relief. I look forward to my bi weekly adjustments and continue to work on my at home exercises and at home traction.

I cannot express how much I appreciate how accommodating and flexible they are with my ever changing schedule as a nurse working shift work.

I have been going to Oaktree Health for their Chiropractic Services for the past year, and I could not imagine not seeing Dr. Vanessa and the receptionists wonderful and smiling faces! Every time I come in, I am greeted (by name!) by one or two of the very friendly receptionists who ask me how I am, and are always very accommodating with my ever changing schedule as a Nurse, scheduling, rescheduling, and rescheduling again my weekly appointments! The wait to see Dr. Vanessa is never very long, and most of the time her friendly dog Wes is there to keep you company and is eager to play with you and be given attention. Dr. Vanessa is open, understanding, caring, and gentle. You can tell she cares about her patients and wants to help them in any way she can, and she remembers personal life details about her patients which is amazing given how many patients she sees! I have been to other chiropractors before, but none were as thorough or as caring as Dr. Vanessa. She takes a holistic approach to your spinal health, and her care is worth the 20-30min drive downtown to and from Barrhaven 1-2 times a week!

Thank you Oaktree Health team for a wonderful experience. I saw Martin for acupuncture treatments and was grateful for his patient and professional approach. The clinic has a welcoming atmosphere and the staff are always pleasant and helpful.

I couldn’t recommend Oaktree enough! I’ve been going 3 times a week since Sept 2022 and have noticed a world of difference! Dr. Vanessa has been able to help me get to the root of so many of my problems! I no longer have chronic headaches that occurred daily, I sleep so much better and wake up feeling rested, I have so much more energy and just all around health wise, I feel so much better in general.
