I came on to write a 5-star review for Oakville Home Comfort, but looking at the multitude of ALL 5-star reviews it looks like I don't have to! How many businesses can say they have this many 5-star reviews? ! Dave and Pat and their team of incredible technicians do business the way it should be.honest, reliable, professional, efficient and fair pricing. Every business in Oakville should take a page from their book.

Stop scrolling! This is the best people you can deal with for anything HVAC. Whether you are shopping to replace your entire system or have an emergency repair need, Dave, Pat & team are by far the best in town. They answered my call on a Sunday night and were here the very next day to help out with heating issues. Thank you Binnie Mechanical, you are amazing!

I had a furnace installed by Binnie. The experience was first class, so when my hot water heater quit I knew who to call. I called Monday am, they turned up at lunchtime and, after a complete inspection, said I needed a new water heater. It was installed quickly, efficiently and without fuss, including replacing the exhaust vent pipe. My thanks to the crew who looked after everything so professionally! Another great job!

After a (second) terrible experience with one of the large corporate HVAC companies, a friend referred me to Binnie to help sort out the real status of my HVAC system. The entire team went out of their way to address my concerns and get my system working properly, and at an extremely reasonable price (and imagine, without the need to replace my entire furnace and A/C setup).
Everyone I have interacted with at Binnie has been a friendly and caring professional, and I have always felt like they genuinely care about their work and their customers.

These guys had done some work at my parents home and so we decided to give them a try. They have blown us away with their friendly and knowledgeable approach to business. We purchased our furnace from Oakville Home Comfort two years ago.
Very happy with the salesman, very informative. Sales pitch was not aggressive. Office staff friendly and helpful.
Installation went very well and the two technicians were excellent.
Today had repairman in to check out humming noise from furnace. He was very friendly and did a great job. Found problem right away and fixed in speedy fashion.
We will for sure being using Oakville Home for our yearly maintenance for our furnace and AC.

We have been customers of Binnie Mechanical / for more than eight years when we purchased our current home. They converted the oil fired forced air heating system to a new forced air gas system and replaced the existing central air conditioning system. They completed a thorough assessment of needs with an HVAC engineer and presented us with a very competitive quote for the complete system and installation including incorporation of appropriate new duct work in conjunction with our renovations planned. We are extremely pleased with all of their work and the performance of the new equipment since installation. They have completed all regular maintenance, and required repairs very promptly and to our complete satisfaction. We would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone considering their services.

She was friendly and I was pleasantly surprised she scheduled me same day. Paul and Dave the technicians were super friendly also and happy to answer my 50+ question on heating and repairs. [thanks for being patient with me] They were quick to fix and gave me an honest review of the mechanics to my furnace. I finally found a mechanical contractor I can trust. Needed emergency service over the holidays and Binnie/Oakville Home Comfort was responsive and great to deal with. Ended up needing a substantial repair and while we waited for parts, Paul was able to execute an interim repair. We did not miss a beat. FYI - Don't skip your annual furnace/AC maintenance servicing!

Half of the complaints in HVAC reviews for air conditioning systems seemed to be due to poor installation of the product, and the other half seemed to be due to companies that have had quality control / warranty problems (in my opinion: Carrier, Lennox, Goodman, Genius).
We decided to go with Trane for their warranty and history of product quality, and we wanted an installer with a great track record for installation.
We vetted several HVAC contractors listed on the Oakville Licensed Contractors website and decided to go with Binnie Mechanical to install a Trane furnace, air conditioner, and coil.
Dave Binnie was very knowledgeable about Trane products, proper installation, and the importance of an air handler that has an adequate air supply. Our old York furnace had a tiny hole in the side to pull air through which reduced its efficiency.
Binnie Mechanical installed our new system on June 30,2021. They increased the amount of air supplied to the new furnace and repaired a few components that were not a part of the purchased system (including the old humidifier) but would improve on the performance of the overall HVAC system.
We love the new system. It is amazingly quiet compared to the old system. On the hottest days in July and August, the Trane system kept up and the house temperature stays consistent even on the 2nd floor. Replacing the entire system was money well spent.

Dave and Paul were a pleasure to deal with, were informative, prompt and attentive. No reason to shop around, albeit we had 2 other contractors attend prior to settling on Binnie/Oakville Home Comfort. We made the right choice.

Paul and Cole came to install a new Trane Air Conditioner and I couldn't be happier with the end result. They were on time, very professional and didn't complain that I followed them around for 4 hours with hundreds of questions. The entire installation process was explained very thoroughly and once installed they stayed behind to ensure that everything was set-up and working. Binnie Mechanical/Oakville Home Comfort is definitely a name you can trust for quality and trustworthy work. Would highly recommend to anyone needed HVAC services.

This is one of the best services I have ever had, I had multiple quotes for my HVAC replacement, but Dave had given me the best suggestion with the best price. Dave and his team was great, professional, the installation work was done on time. Dave had provided me a lot of suggestions and points, which helps me to decide the HVAC system, the biggest is always not a solution. It has been almost 3 weeks my A/C is maintaining the indoor temperature, the unit I is sound less, we cannot hear any sound from our backyard. I am very happy with the services provided to me from Dave and his team.

Dave and his team replaced our Trane AC unit about 3 weeks ago. They were on time, did a great job and cleaned up everything after the job was done. Dave was thorough during the assessment so that there were no surprises on the installation day. The crew was professional and Pat was always pleasant to talk to on the phone. We had researched and had quotes from numerous companies for replacing furnace and air conditioning in late autumn in Covid with supply issues. Dave spent a lot of time explaining exactly what he was quoting and answered all questions. Not the cheapest quote but worth every penny and very professional. He managed to get products and install before winter so we had a toasty warm winter with our new furnace. The installers were very experienced, friendly, Covid safe and cleaned up and answered any questions. Pat in the office was great. Truly a wonderful customer experience

The crew was on time on the day of the installation and were very courteous or professional. They left my mechanical room looking clean and organized.
The installation was done 15 days ago and the system, both furnace and AC are working properly.

Dave was extremely knowledgable and really listened to what our needs were and did not try to oversell us - we just had an overall comfort with him. On the day of installation, the team was right on time and Dave was there the whole way to ensure the installation went as planned. The install team was friendly, worked clean, laying down runners and cleaned up afterwards being very respectful of our home. They did a great job with both the furnace and AC installs and we are happy that we chose Binnie for this. Pat, in the office was a pleasure to work with as well. We replaced our furnace, air conditioner and water heater at the beginning of December after receiving multiple quotes. Binnie Mechancial was recommended to us by another of their very happy customers. As Dave said, they're not the cheapest, but I can say they're definitely not most expensive either. We are extremely happy with the value and our experience. The team arrived on time, laid down runners to ensure they weren't dirtying the house and got down to work. Dave explained all facets of the work throughout the process and even sat with me to make sure I could program the new thermostat. Before they left (with the work area spotless) Dave took me to the furnace room and explained the functioning of all the equipment. Dave asked that I check the furnace filter at the end of January to see if it needed to be replaced. When I checked the filter, I had a question and before I knew it there was a knock at the door with a replacement filter! The heat has has been more consistent throughout the house based on Dave's recommendations. Looking forward to spring and their visit to ensure the AC is set up properly. Highly recommend.

Our home is 20 years old and the old HVAC system was showing its age and we decided to go ahead and replace it because it wasn't performing well and inefficient. We had about a half dozen companies give us estimates and go through product brochures. Dave made an immediate impression, answering questions, giving up his time, and being straight with us on our needs.

The price was near the middle of the pack, but their product line is the one we wanted most. We have an HVAC company owner in the family, back in Louisiana, and he has been selling Trane his entire life and that's what we wanted.

Dave obliged and the installation was great. Three guys navigating a small-ish space on the basement and they removed a lot of the old venting and ductwork because it wasn't optimized. The unit was also a major upgrade in terms of efficiency.

We added a humidifier as well, which we didn't have before. ANd that has made a HUGE difference.

The heat is so much more comfortable than it was before and the air, after they installed at the end of the summer, was also incredible.

We are in a four-level townhouse and the top floor - our master en suite - was so hot! Uncomfortably so in the summers - we run two fans (ceiling and floor) to keep it tolerable.

This new system pushes air around the clock, more efficiently, and with more strength.

I could not believe the difference.

The old system was also a pain to get to, difficult to remove the old, busted door panel and screws to replace the filter. This new unit is just beautiful and it's *easily* one of the best decisions we've made in the decade we've lived in the home.

They are an amazing local company with a personable approach, with communicative and responsive customer support. Their administrative assistants and office staff are also such a delight!

All in all, a wonderful company with a top notch product. Cannot recommend them highly enough!
