This one star yet goes out to Chow can’t even call her a doctor… because doctor know how to control their emotions, most importantly how to act professionally. And lastly if you don’t like working with patients who previously got addicted to Oxys yet again because of another great doctor. Please Chow find another job. I came in the back to sample and all I hear is someone yelling from computer in one the rooms. I figured it’s doctor waiting for patient so I was kindly going to say that receptionist went to him from wait room. I guess chow though she was talking to one of the patients and she literally jumped off her chair and yelled “ come one what the f is this, it’s 12: 01 and he should know better” I was in shock and had anxiety just listening that how sick patient is being treated or that’s how she talks to reception girls. I also had to stay past my work hour at work due to dental patient or someone buying a car and guess what Chow u get paid to this. You should have learned respect and how to control emotions before start practicing in this field. She’s was sitting anyways from her living room. No excuses for this behaviour. God bless Reception girls who have to deal with her talking to them like that. If you guys want a real doctor go to Dr. Safar real professional who is dedicated to his job and leading other to better path.

Dr. Chu is an absolute angel. She is a very hard working woman that will pull every string possible to make sure you are comfortable. (Even while on vacation) she takes the time to make sure you are comfortable and happy.

You’re safe here with Dr. Chu and her team. I’ve actually never met such an incredible doctor, she has done more for me in just 3 short months, then my family doctor has in 30+ years!

Veronica, Priti and all the girls at this place are absolutely incredible, non judgemental, very caring and helpful. The clinic is exceptionally clean and it’s a pleasant experience every time.

I tested positive yesterday for Covid last night at 9pm. I was supposed to sample today BUT I WAS HONEST AND CALLED TO TELL THEM I AM QUARANTINED. I've BEEN WAITING FOR A SCRIPT SINCE 10AM (it's 5: 40pm) SO I CAN HAVE CARRIES AND GET MY DRINK BUT NOOOOOO IM NOW SICK ON TOP OF SICK. This is truly unfair to me I could have been dishonest and showed up and sampled and got my script and lied to everybody but I didn't so why am I being penalized? There's no after-hours phone number there's no way for me to get ahold of anybody for them to fix it

Listen, if someone slips on ice outside your location I expect more than two people to come out to help them. I also expect them to actually show compassion and not immediately run inside.

But no, I was left helping one of your patients get into her car and put her belongings in her car after she slipped outside of your location. Did you guys offer to call an ambulance? No.

I just can't believe the lack of compassion or caring for other people from you guys.

If your ready to change your life these guys are ready to help you. Dr. Chu is an amazing doctor and all doctors should strive to be like her. I came in on a long weekend and she took time out of her holiday to HELP me so I wasn't suffering withdrawls the whole weekend. No other doctor would of done that. The nurses and support staff are friendly and very helpful. Dont be like me and wait forever to get your life back on track.call these guys today and let Dr. Chu and her team help you out.

I am currently an appointed guardian of a patient who visits the OATC for the last month. This is my first experience regarding addiction treatment. The staff has made me and more importantly the patient feel very welcome, warm and not so clinical amd cold. Thank you for the job and the service you provide our community.

Best clinic hands down! Staff are so friendly and helpful. Doctor Chu is so caring! Clinic wait times are super fast! Place is clean and it's just all around a good experience!

In a year and a half attending this clinic, overall I've had a pretty good experience (some really good days depending on who is working) and I've had a few minor issues. Nothing that made me feel like not wanting to go back. Until this week.

The pharmacy staff was late, then she had the nerve to be EXTREMELY rude to me, refuse to help me, and hang up on me MULTIPLE times, 3 times to be exact and screamed at me without letting me talk before hanging up. It took me calling the brampton location to have a message sent to manager to call me directly. I also had another pharmacy call; SHE REFUSED to help them and was EXTREMELY rude to them as well. She was and is very unprofessional, malicious and used my script as a way of trying to hurt me. She should be ashamed of herself. Also, the secretary needs to learn when someones upset vs someone who is being rude. TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT EMOTIONS!

Thankfully, the other pharmacy was able to bypass them COMPLETELY and get me the help I needed from the other doctor who works there as my doctor was unavailable. The doctors in this situation were not to blame THEY ARE AMAZING
I heard from the manager the following day, after speaking with her I felt much better. She apologized (although it doesnt change what had happened) she does care and said she will work on letting staff know that, everything that had happened that day was unacceptable and shouldnt have happened.

A few things that would truly help.

One: All the staff should have care/compassion/support training.

Two: They should find a way to utilize doctors from their other clinics when doctors arent available at their clinic (especially to fix issues WHEN their staff is at fault).

Three: Find a way to fix issues THE STAFF created IMMEDIATELY OR IN A TIMELY FASHION-within an hour (ei: when staff is late and someone needs a script change because they cant wait forever)

Four: FRONT Staff, at no time should be allowed to REFUSE service. A manager should be the one making that decision; no longer giving the front staff the ability to be MALICIOUS and no longer allowing them to assert so much power over the people they serve.

If you want structured care, come here and ask for Dr. Chu to be your care provider. She will help you with the tools you need to turn your life around, whether it be harm-reduction or to finally be clean and sober; she is the care provider for you!

Dr. Chu is also very flexible with appt times, most clinics make you work around their schedule, but Dr. Chu wants to help you get your life back on track. She offers a DBT course to help you in your daily life outside the clinic. There are not many clinics out there willing to offer much more than your daily prescription. She is a very kind doctor and is completely non judgmental.
