OBJX Studio

Such an awesome place to do a photoshoot! There were so many unique areas to shoot in and props to use that I was able to get so much different material just from one hour of shooting in a single studio. Not to mention the staff was very friendly and helpful! I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking to do a classy photo/video shoot.

There was definitely a bit of disorganization and awkwardness at the beginning of our booking. I booked the entire venue, but the venue wasn't cleared fully until 15-20 minutes into our booking which ate into our time. On top of that, we were asked if people could hang around while we were shooting. Which was odd since the entire point of booking the whole venue is so we could have privacy. There was also a moment when a staff member came in to make themselves a coffee. And then another staff member cut us off before our time to give us a warning which wasn't really necessary.

Ultimately, the reason we booked the entire space is because we wanted the privacy and didn't really feel like we got that. If i would have known how the staff operates, I wouldn't have booked the full venue.

That said, it's a really unique space with lots of natural light and has an awesome vintage/thrifted aesthetic. All depends on what you're comfortable with.

This is such a versatile space that works for all projects. The owner and all the staff are super friendly and accommodating. Rose was so sweet and made me a tea. They’ll take great care of you whether it’s a large scale project or even a small one person photo shoot (like my recent experience). I highly recommend it and will definitely shoot there again!

Great creative space and some of the coolest people work here. They have alot of props for set design and can literally make any set you want as long as you give them proper lead time.

The people that work there were amazing and accmodating, the vibe is too cool and our customers loved it.

Attended my friends wedding reception here. It was a fantastic venue for a very cool small/medium sized event. Excellent photo props and good lighting setup.

Beautiful venue! Spacious. Lots of nice art and decor. Has comfortable seats for lounging and good lighting.

We did our engagement shoot here, and the vibes were PERFECT. Moody, stunning, and such a variety of areas to be photographed in. My photographer loved the lighting in the space, and the photos are everything I could have possible dreamed of. People non-stop tell me that our engagement shoot is perfect, romantic but not cheesy. Couldn't LOVE this play more! I recently booked Studio A and B for a wellness event and the vibes of this studio did not disappoint.

From initial inquiry to packing up, the team at OBJX were amazing. Bodeen was very quick to respond whenever I needed and Kat is simply so warm and welcoming! Communication with everyone was very easy and straight forward - best way to get stuff done!

Rose was onsite to help us set up for our event. She cleaned the floors and watched over our belongings and manned the door when I couldn't. She was so lovely and hospitable.

The venue itself is just so COOL! Not much can top the view, sunlight, and setting that OBJX has to carefully and thoughtfully put together. Our community had a wonderful time and boasted about how beautifully eclectic the space was.

For our event, we needed a lot of floor space. It was super quick and easy to move furniture around to create just what we needed. In short, everything was very memorable.

Such a gorgeous studio with a really dynamic setting! Loved the colours and props all around plus there is terrific natural light in the space!

This place is SO magical. I can truly say I have fallen in love with this space as well as the creative community within it. Sunday night Open Mic Nights are my all-time-fave.
The curated and artsy atmosphere is spectacular and is bound to make you gasp upon entering for the first time!
I shot a music video there and have had many photoshoots there. AMAZING lighting!

Just finished a 2 day music shoot in this gorgeous space. The architectural details and light can't be matched for an industrial yet elegant venue. There are so many props to choose from to customize the look. It was a totally inspiring place to create! Best of all the OBJX community is one of the most hospitable and generous I've encountered. They understood and catered to our needs, always offering help to get the exact look and feel right for us. They were kind and a joy to work with! I can't recommend this spot more highly. Everyone was happy and left feeling we made something very unique. It's also priced amazingly for just an hour shoot. We saw wedding couples capturing some stunning photos during our tour. Elevator for gear/Close to Stockyards restaurants for food / free parking. Thank you OBJX, and especially Kat and Rose who made us feel like family.

I was at OBJX helping with a photography event. Beautiful space and high ceilings with tons of natural light. The space is dressed with a lot of props so you can try different setups. The staff are warm, accommodating, and helpful.

Hands-down, the most incredible studio I've ever had the privilege of visiting. We hosted our holiday party, and I can honestly say EVERYONE was blown away by how super cool this place was. The staff was so accommodating and friendly and the party was a HUGE success. A little tricky to find but once you walk in you will fall in love with the space.

Eclectic and an amazing vibe the performers are always outstanding ️ definitely recommend for creatives needing to recharge

Has the most beautiful wedding at this venue. Gorgeous space and amazing staff. We couldn’t have asked for anything better. 10/10.

A lovely creative space that feels like a home from home with better set design lol and amazing people

We booked this venue back in April for our wedding photo shoot and wedding reception consisting of 45 guests. We were informed by Sabrin that the total cost was $3000 + tax = $3,390 for 8 hours of use of the Warehouse + Lounge. We decided to book the venue and paid a deposit of $500 for our event in August. An invoice was sent to us stating the remaining balance of $2890 ($3390-$500) to be paid before our event date.

12 days before our event date, we were sent a NEW invoice by Lakeisha stating we owed $4398.50!

The breakdown was:

Venue: $3000 + tax = $3390
Corking fee: $450 ($10 x 45 guests) + tax = $508.50
Refundable Security Deposit = $500
Total = $4398.50

We noticed our $500 deposit wasn't reflected on the invoice and inquired where it went. Lakeisha told us the $500 was not a deposit, but a "non-refundable reservation fee" just to hold our date. Even though our initial invoice clearly showed the deduction from the total balance. I have never, ever seen a deposit where it isn't deducted from the total balance owed. We weren't even able to use the $500 as credit for studio use to take our wedding photos. It was just gone and straight into their pockets. And now they want another $500 for security deposit?

Lakeisha also informed us of the $10 corking fee for each of our 45 guests while Sabrin never mentioned any fees 3 months ago. We told Lakiesha if they wouldn't honour our initial invoice like any reputable company would, then they can cancel our booking. They refused to honour our original invoice so we took the $500 loss and walked even though we were left without a venue a week before our big day.

Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. There's much nicer venues for a fraction of the cost. If you're still considering booking this venue, just remember they don't have air conditioning either. Avoid this place, your wallet and your guests will thank you for it.

Super cool studio and the people there are so friendly and helpful! Would definitely book them again for another event. Some of the art pieces there are so beautiful and everything is so photogenic

My son and daughter-in-law had their weeding pictures taken at OBJX on Saturday. Great loft studio with amazing props and settings run by very talented, creative and fun people. I highly recommend OBJX.

Such a sick place for events, photoshoots and more definitely recommend if you’re looking for a place to get creative plus they got a lot of props you can use and always got several events going on!

OBJX is hands down the best studio I've ever been to. It's vintage aesthetic and floor to ceiling loft windows create the perfect setting for so many events and projects. I hosted a live show and gallery here and the night turned out amazing. Many of my guests loved the location.

Owner Michelle was booked for our wedding photos in Jamaica. It's going on 4 years. Yes she gave us the photos quickly. We printed them and they were so dark and orange. I sent her photos of the prints and she agreed that they were too dark and would send me the RAW files. She refused to return messages. Refuses to reply to emails and texts. I let her know that my husband was struck on the hwy and this is all I have left - and still no response. Messages left on the FB page are deleted without a reply. I have no other way of sending a message to make myself heard. I'm super disappointed as we loved our images, we just can't print them the way they are edited.

Although owner states Michelle doesn’t work with them. She did and was part owner. So add deceit to this review. Michelle knows what I’m talking about as does the lone owner now. I was asked to take this review down.

This is by far the prettiest venue I've ever been to for a photo shoot in my life. The staff were amazing the space was amazing they accommodated us for whatever we needed. It was just overall really great

What a Space Perfect to photograph a full campaign for a client or produce a commercial/movie/video. As well Amazing for all kinds of events. Easy accessibility and pretty cool area with breweries around the corner. Shaun was super friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to be in OBJX soon
