O'Brien's Roadhouse

The food was absolutely amazing. I have to say I had my reservations for a roadhouse but wow! I would eat here anytime. Service was great and the place is appropriately decorated with nice homey feeling.

Staff was great, Service excellent. Gravy for the fries great. Fish & Chips great. Portions were good. Steak was cooked well. Only small complaint, need a better cut of meat, bit too much fat. I'll definitely go back to try other things.

Absolutely love the fresh cut fires. Had the club sandwich, must have been the best club sandwich I've ever had. Incredible, marinated, freshly grilled, tasty, LOVE THIS SPOT!

The food was excellent. Our server on the other hand was not. She brought us water, took our order and said she would be back. Brought our food, didn't ask us if we wanted drinks, didn't refill our water, didn't ask us if we wanted dessert. Was really not interested in serving our table. The other staff were very nice. We ate, finally asked for our bill and left. The entertainment was very good also.

The restaurant we wanted to go to was closed so we found this place just down the street. They had one vegan dish on the menu, a quinoa bowl. I was surprised how delicious it was. 100 times better than the quinoa bowl at the Royal Oak. They also had a black bean burger but you would have to get it without the cheese and the sauce. Portion sizes were very generous.

The staff were super friendly and attentive. There was a great Monday pizza deal, and they have a decent beer and wine selection. Lots of TVs to watch sports and very few blind spots.

The food.the pizzas looked amazing, but one of ours was very undercooked. The other dishes were cold, and the chicken wings were deep fried to the point that they were flammable.

If the average doneness of the food was between the wings and the pizza, it would have been perfect.

The atmosphere was good, very roadhouse (not the Patrick Swayze one), but the bathroom match. They were nasty.

All that and i would still go back
So, take it as it is.

This was the worst place I've been there was a waitress with redish brown hair that was so rude she might have been the manger. I left without eating I took my food to go. I'm so upset I spent just over 100$ to be disrespected by this waitress. I hope in the future she will talk to customers with more respect.

Food was good
My steak was a little overcooked but still juicy and the others seemed to enjoy their meals.
The nachos were delicious.
Service was ok but very slow.
Very crowded and we had to wait for a bigger table as we asked for seating for 14 and got a table for 10.
But overall it turned out good.

Went there January 3rd for my grandson’s birthday. Service is mehh. Waitress is such in a hurry that she barely lets you finish talk and she’s already on her way. And NO it’s because it was busy because there was only 3 table with customers. Food doesn’t take long to come. Wings were cold. Pizza dough was so thin in the middle and wasn’t cooked!

We told her but her response was “I don’t know why, I brought it right away when it came out”. No apologies. My reason for telling her about the pizza was to avoid same issue with next customer. Anyways, I Asked her if she mentioned it to her manager and her reply was “No I haven’t talked to her yet, I will later”.

My grandson dropped one of his mini burger buns on the floor and asked for a replacement bun, well she charged me for it!

Ladies Washroom was just dirty nasty.

First experience there and it will be my last for sure!

Comfort food well prepared and generous portions. But, the draft always seems flat so I order packed beer, can or bottle. I believe they have a beer gas issue. That causes the beer draft beer to be flat. This being said, we eat there and we are very happy it is in our hood!

Just an edit to the previous review. Food continues to be very well prepared and the salads are fresh! Portions are also plentiful with very fair costing. Thanks!

Quality and service was perfect. We liked the burgers. The only negative point, too far from us.

I gotta say, i wasn't expecting much giving it's location and how it looks from outside but the food was great and the service good too. We also happened to stop there during live music elate afternoon which was nice too

Over all great experience. It was very busy and we were very well accommodated with our little one. Food was on point, live music was a great touch. Server/manager was great.

For a roadhouse it's nice and has a good assortment of items done a bit differently so it's definitely different then everyone else.

First time there very friendly great looking menu food was delicious. We will be back for more.

I had the smoke meat combo with fries, very tasty and filling. I brought back one sandwich back home.
My boyfriend and his friend had both the hamburger combo which they enjoyed as well.
Big portions as well as excellent service.

Chicken club was really dry, enjoyed the fries more than the sandwich but you'll come out of the restaurant smelling like fries too. Nice atmosphere but please improve the ventilation in there. Ended up smelling like fried food the whole day after:/ probably won't be coming back

Delicious hot bar food, large drink menu, with great tunes, atmosphere, and friendly fast service - definitely coming back

Tasty food, careless staff/chef. I explained my severe seafood allergies, ordered nachos, food delivered with assurances it was good to go. Two bites in, I’m not feeling great and discover something deep fried and ask the waitress. Waitress comes back and tells me not to eat it as all the chips and jalapeños are deep fried with the fish! Wow, clueless about allergies and cross contamination!

Our server was the best! We were having a rough day with car problems and while he was busy, he took the time to take the situation off our mind. Food was fab and fast, great beer selection

Our server Yan highly recommended the Club Sandwich. When it arrived the thing was enormous and accompanied by a mountain of fries. The club itself had a great balance of flavours and texture with lots of chicken, bacon and avocado.

Four of us had the Club and the fifth person had a roast beef au jus sandwich which looked amazing and he attested was excellent as well.

Food was much better than I expected. We enjoyed the Masarati wrap and the Studebaker club. Servers were friendly and attentive.

If you want a casual place near the Trainyards to have lunch or dinner, this place is a great option. Varied menu, lots of choices, good food, fabulous happy service. Parking is somewhat limited, and there are never good reasons to eat outside, in my view! Would definitely go back again and again.
