Ocean Palate Indian and Kerala Cuisine

Dosa was very tasty and fresh. But sambar was not that tasy. Quantity as compared to the price is less.

Ordered Chicken Momos, Parotta and Nadan beef curry. Momos and Parotta were fine. But beef curry lacked freshness and didnt taste good.

Really tasty food. Will visit here again. Loved Kriti’s service. Thanks for the giving us a nice experience.

Truly speaking, I have had a disaster experience.
I wanted to have a Kerala Porontha experience instead I got tawa parantha with punjabi fusion taste.
Please hire professionals not students from other nation who doesn't know how to make Porontha Kerala Style.

I recently dined at Ocean Palate Indian Cuisine in Hamilton and had a disappointing experience. Despite the high prices, the meat portions in the curries were notably small. On 11/01/2024, I ordered a butter chicken curry, only to receive a large container with three tiny chicken pieces. When I contacted the staff, they insisted these were considered "big pieces. " It was evident they were smaller than a Canadian loonie. The kitchen staff claimed it was the portion approved by the central kitchen. Disappointing and felt like a dishonest practice. I would recommend exploring other Indian food options in the area.

Tried kizhi porotta, Fish pollichathu, cutlets, kothu porotta. The food was good. Great ambiance and service.

Can I say any negative comment on this restaurant? No way! Gagan our host cum server is awesome. Food is very tasty. Jo Jo put all his strength to offer an excellent food & hospitality.

I wanted to have the veg sadya specifically on a banana leaf. Gagan’s was a fabulous hostess and assured us on the -hone we could get that. We also ordered Malabar masala shrimp and a masala dosa. Everything was super tasty and amazing.

Amazing Keralite cuisine. The taste is very close to what we get at home. The menu has good variety. The appams were soft and tasty. But my favourite is the Malabar Parota. Highly recommend this place.

Pretty authentic place in terms of food taste and environment. Dosa's flavour was different as it had carrot chunks in it. I loved the red tangy sauce made of beetroot. Uttapam was up to the mark and i was amazed to get 2 pieces at the same price. Pricing is a little steep as compared to competitors.

Great experience! The server was very patient and helpful, explaining to us everything in detail. The food (dinner buffet) was excellent - not something we are used to at home. Shrimp curry and crab masala were the highlights!

Bought the worst Masala fried king fish fry for 18 cad today. Went there believing the good rating but the fish was really tasteless and did not really have any flavor to it.

The restaurant is very clean and the staff are friendly. I ordered a seafood meals after a very famished drive. The food was so authentic, delicious and fresh that I even requested for an extra serving of rice.
I also enjoyed the beef roast and Sambar.

Highly recommend the food here.

One of the best kerala foods I’ve had in the area. I would give this place more than 5 stars if I could. Highly recommended!

Must try there cheese masala dosa and mango lassi. I didn’t had this much tasty dosa before. Big shout out to Kriti. She is so nice and polite. Must visit here if you want real Indian Dosa and kerala cuisine.
