Wonderful local book store. They have a variety of diverse book collections. Lovely staff. Very active on social media and responsive to their clients.

Lisa's shop is first class run by a first class human who cares about books and the people that read them. I introduced a young man to the shop who is very interested in Lenin and his writing and Lisa sent him home with enough Lenin to cover 13 square kilometres. Please support local! Great independent bookstore, with a good selection of books. Staff is extremely knowledgeable and happy to help you get what you are looking for.

So many amazing titles and authors. Good prices too, definitely recommend if you're looking for world view, political, or LGBTQ+ literature.

One of my favourite bookstores in Ottawa. Although small, it has a great selection of books for all ages. A local gem in the Glebe.

Never been inside, but I called them today looking for a book. They didn't have a copy but found another store that did have one. So nice of them to take the time to do that.

Great contemporary social and political theory works, amazing selection of other current theory. Very wonderful humans working there too (helped me flip a coin to choose between two books, one which I'll have to return to acquire at a later date now).

Even their mission statement and statement of intent are fantastic - anti-oppressive, promotion of conversation through literature, curation of books of artistic and scholarly merit. Gosh

Also, pretty sure The Spinners were playing while I was in so kudos to the music too!

To describe this place in one word: charming! I finally visited after insta-stalking the store for a while:)

Cutest bookstore ever, with modern and traditional books they also have super cute stickers at the cash!
