The guy was in hurry and even didn’t cut the other side of my hair properly. When i called him back he got pissed. NOT SATISFACTORY AT ALL. Poor service. Worst chairs, whole salon was a mess.

Went for a male haircut today.

Very rude personnel, the guy who did my hair wanted to beat me!

They will shear your hair like a sheep in the fastest time possible, literally in less the 5 minutes, and ask for 15 dollars plus tip, if you’re paying by card it will cost you 20 dollars plus

They don’t use a neck tissue, won’t clean the chair before you sit and will boss you into the hair cut they want only to mess up your hair and then get mad and physically threaten you when you mention it

For this price, add in extra 10 dollars and buy you peace of mind and dignity

I drive 30 min from my house to this place for hair cut, their service and prices are excellent.

Will never go again. Person doing haircut says ‘I am not going to change anything else’. Totally disappointed!

This is a great place to go, but make sure you are getting your hair-cut from one of the ladies. The male barbers are very rude. I am a frequent there, and on last 2 occasions, I got the hair cut done by the male barber and my experience has not been good, not with the cut but with how they were talking and behaving. On the contrary the ladies are nice and polite and treat customers well.

Cheapest with very unpleasant experience. Hair dresser over here are supper arrogant. They are just in hurry to complete the hair cut. Hardly takes 4-6mins for giving one haircut.
Don't let someone mess with your hair for 12$ and also they ask for tip incase if you forget to tip

What you get here really depends on the stylist, on the time of day, or their general mood at the moment. They want you out as soon as possible.

Not recommending the lady stylist, she doesn’t have any idea or skill to handle short hair style, and of course make sure you ask the price before you sit, otherwise it’s double than what advertised, thank God my hair grow faster!

Anyone who’s trying to go there, I advise you to let Emily give you a hair cut cause she’s a phenomenal barber in every measure.

Worst experience worst hairstylist. The women who works there argue and do what she likes. I had taken a kid there, she only ask the kid and argue with guardian and in the end doesn’t want to talk to u. The boy starts crying because she cut all of his hair. Never coming back!

If you don’t care how terrible your hair gets and how you’ll look, this place is for you. If you’re just looking to get a quick cut, you’re in the right place. Very Rushed and sloppy work. They don’t listen to your requests too. By far my worst experience

I don't know about other stylist, but William is the kind of guy who in one sentence understood what I wanted, and delivered it in 10 minutes, for something like $12. I am used to paying $60 for worse haircuts in downtown Toronto. Super happy.

This is the worst hair salon I’ve ever been to. Came here for a quick trim and 1 -2 inches off the top… explained it to the lady… she knew very limited English and even after understanding she did whatever she wanted. And I walked out with half a inch of hair on my head. Do not recommend at all. Not worth the cheap price… never going in there ever again.

Came here to get a trim the day before a RELIGIOUS HOLIDAY.specifically told them to cut the sides short and take 1-2 inches off the top. I walked out looking like a balding 40 year old with less than an inch of hair on my head, which looked like it was thinning due to how she cut it. They seem to understand very limited english, and even if they may understand you, she will cut it however she wants.price is cheap and i only recommend coming often for quick/cheap trims.if you are like me and cut your hair every 6 months or longer STAY AWAY

You get service, but not personalized service. Work like a robot. They consider just another customer is sitting in front of them as they don't bother what kind of cut the person will want.

Well, normally i doesn't give 1 star rating to any business or person, I have been going to this location since 4 years constantly. I am regular customer at this shop.
Whenever this shop owner hired a male barber, they deal rudely to the clients, the male barbers which are veitnamese are ill mannered. They young male barber cut my hair and left the hair on my neck and left it there and didn't wipe off and while taking my mask from my face he covered my eyes 2 times and i asked him, he just said oohh. Not only this he fish cutting my hair and taking off the cutting cloth he didn't comb my hair at finally.on the contrary the female staff is welcoming and professional.

I have been going to this barber for a pretty long time. They give okay cuts. The last time I went (around 2 days ago) I got the worst cut imaginable. I told the lady "Don't touch the top give me a fade on the sides and don't go too high". Those are my exact words. She cut my hair SUPER short at the top shaved the sides. I am so unhappy with my cut. I don't want to go anywhere public. Trust me if you are reading this review NEVER come here PERIOD.

I said I don't know and they did such an amazing job that I started to cry. I asked for a cut on the side and they cut the top. I am very happy with my purchase, I love getting haircut here because they got it wrong. It's very cheap and worth buying.

Didn't do anything I asked for, when she said if she should leave it or cut I short I said to leave it but she still cut it short

It's a $12 haircut done by amateurs using only a trimmer in the least possible time, don't expect a proper haircut.

12 dollars for a hair cut, that's not bad and they are quick with their serivce. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. They quality of service was good too. Will certainly go again.

I absolutely love this place! Quick, efficient, and cheap. I have never been disappointed with this place, and for the people complaining about a $10 haircut. CHILL! It's $10, and hair grows back. They never claim to be a high end barbershop that charges $30 for a simple trim.

The regular staff are great, but the new guys recently, don’t understand how you would like your hair cut and just start cutting and praying it works out well.

I have been coming to this place for my haircuts for about 3 years. Extremely friendly staff and do not have an issue with the quality of my haircuts. I can only guess that most of these low rated reviews is the competition which charges more than double the price for a men's haircut.
Would highly recommend O. D. Hair Salon as a great place to get your haircut for a great price.
Just an after note; I was in Hamilton on the day the hair salons were closing (Covid-19 days) and somehow managed to get an appointment for a haircut (my last haircut was in early October). The price was $22.

To begin with, I absolutely recommend going to the blonde guy with a pony tail. He treats his customers with respect, as he whispered in my ear asking if I would like a wash. I politely said no, and he proceeded to give a complimentary lap dance. In fact, I had no other option but to leave a $69 tip for him. I would recommend going here as this haircut actually got me birthday sex and I owe it all to my guy with the pony tail. 11/10 WOULD GO BACK!

One time before this, I Visited and the same man began playing with my hair and smelling it! I honestly enjoyed this very much he really has a connection with his customers!

Terrible experience. They are not professional hairdressers at all. I always go with a simple basic hair cut which does not even require any major haircutting skills and still they screwed it. Trust me you have to be really bad to do something like that. Save yourself by avoiding this place.
Also what’s the thing with accepting only cash? Clearly, tax evasion! I will report them.

The service is excellent and the people working there are very attentive. There are many people working so you don't have wait too long. They charge almost half of what other hair salon charges though the service is far better than others

Terrible experience getting hair cut. Paid $10 for about a 5-7 minute hair cut. Problems included: 1) I told exactly what I wanted and the person cutting my hair didn't listen, despite telling him a few times 2) The hair dresser was rude and told me to go after I asked to fix my hair 3) The hair dresser kept rushing and didn't bother with details. 4) After cutting my hair he didn't even show me the back of my head in the mirror. As a result, my hair was uneven and didn't look good, even though I asked for a simple cut. Awful experience (not my only one here). Your money is better spent elsewhere.

Very bad experience with the hairdresser named May. My wife made an appointment for a hair root colour touch-up. When she went for the appointment, May took a walk-in who wanted a prem instead. She dropped my wife's appointment as she could make more from the walk-in perm. Very unethical business practise. I had been going there several times. But not anymore. The other hairdressers are fine. Just avoid May like the plague. She's a sweet liar with only eyes for money. No business ethics whatsoever.

Worst barbar in town. What type of business allowes such barbars? Not even trained. They seem to have vision problems. They all have the same vision problems. I went back to get my hair cut fixed after an immigrant who was cutting my hair had messed up big time. I will sur! Need i formation on suing these people.

If you want to come in for a quick haircut and don't care too much about the styling at this place is the place. The stuff they are Chinese and Vietnamese and they speak English so there is no language. The price around 10 dollars for men basic cut. What to expect: they're pretty busy so you'll be waiting about 15-20 minutes on average and then they'll cut your hair for 5 minutes and you're good to go.

10$ for gents hair cut&5$ for beared, that's why it's most economical and have co-operative staff.

Haircut for people that don't want to wait for 30-45 mins. They are fast and it feels like Chinese hair cutting factory. Price wise they are great. Haircuts are average at best.

I chose this place because of 10$ haircuts for my 3 boys, but obviously you get what you pay for, lots of hair on the floor, even in the waiting area, haircuts were super fast, not much attention to detail, like a haircut factory line. Was it good enough for me? Yes!

Was a few days ago at this place, well located in Mavis and Eglington plenty of parking spots I really appreciate the customer service here specially from the Philippine lady who was cutting my hair, she is very detail and perfect on her job, you can see her professionalism and dedication always asking if you feel comfortable with your cut. I highly recommend this place very good price and highly trained staff. Thanks

No frills haircut for cheap. I go to the same guy everytime I visit and happy with his work. Could be a bit more sanitary on the combs, scissors and clippers. They don't ever seem to clean them.
