Food was delicious. We had the lunch special, there was plenty of food. The butter chicken and vindaloo were great, just the right amount of spice! The Garlic Naan was the best I have ever had! Prices are very reasonable! Will certainly go back again.
We tried the buffet today, and it was awful. We will not be returning. All the food was either cold or barely warm, and the food seemed stale and dried out. There was zero service. We weren't even asked for a drinks order. Huge disappointment.
Amazing amazing food, we all had a great time with great customer service. We especially liked the lollipop-style chicken & cauliflower honey spice. The chicken biryani also had very soft chicken with fluffy rice! (It also came in a surprising way)
This place is AMAZING. It’s a hidden gem in Whitby. Loved the food and the service. We ordered vegetable biryani, paneer mint tikka and chole bhatura! Everything was amazing but I have to make a special mention for chole bhature - they are one of the best chole bhature I’ve ever had! Please go try it:)
I had place an order for pick up and it was ready by the time I place it. I had the butter chicken and the chicken biryani. Both dished were great. Portions are a bit on the small size for the price. The spices on the dishes were as expected. We order mild and it was actually mild.
Top notch quality food. The best naan I’ve ever tasted. All food was cooked fresh and to perfection. Service was superb. Friendly, informative and attention to detail. My experience was perfect. I will be back!
Great experience and food. Went on a Saturday evening and place was packed. Very nicely decorated inside and good ambiance. Some of the best I've ever had. Unbelievable prices, service and food here are highly recommended. It can be seen that the restaurant is super clean. It’s very cost-effective, and it’s on my favorite
First time there, was such a pleasant experience with my friend of 60 years! The pakoras were the best I have ever had. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I will certainly be returning and also sharing with others
Food is ok. Curries are mostly tomato purée! Service is bad, they took 30-45min for each dish to be served and we were there almost 90 min for a simple meal. Their excuse was that they had too many online orders. I was there at 5: 30pm for dinner and there was another couple apart from us. Wouldn’t recommend this place.
Hands down the best authentic north indian food I have had East of Toronto. This restaurant needs to be hyped more not just for the quality of the food but also for the service. Portion size is small compared to a lot of other places for the same price but definitely worth it!
We went for dinner, it wasn’t busy at the time. We ordered chicken kebab appetizer which came hot and tasted amazing, for our main we both ordered Chana Bhatura and it came hot and tasted amazing as well. Staff was very friendly and informative. They also have two different draft beers to enjoy with your meal. We will be back again.
Good ambience. Good appetizers. Mains we ordered Lamb Rogan Josh and Chicken Lababdar both were okish as were over powered by tomatoes and very mild spicy. Tea is a definitely NO. We didn't try desserts as were off sweets. We ate Chicken Tandoori Momos, Chilli Chicken Fish in Hakka, Lamb seekh kabab was too charred and little hard, Chicken platter and Malai Chicken were good. We definitely wanted Veal dishes which were missing. Overall good, worth visiting. Gratuity is added in bill and no dish is less than $15 for appetizers and mains.
Overall, nice place i would say. The food quality was better compared to other restaurants in area. High prices. Had manchow soup (5/5), panner tikka starter felt like eating only panner. It lacked marination properly, panner tikka masala sabji was 3.5/5 i would say.
Still room to improve for the price its charging.
Update on 2nd visit. Manchow soup (0.5/5). Total waste from last visit. Ordered veg jalfrazi, panner tikka masala both were ***. Chef lacks consistency in the food. Manchow soup was served in tomato puree.
One of the better Indian restaurants in Durham for sure! Did take out for two- definitely felt like there wasn’t enough paneer or koftas in the two curries I took out. However, taste was good. I will definitely be going back to try other items on the menu
