Went yesterday and the waitress there was unprofessional, would look at us sitting there waiting for our rolls which they ended up forgetting about, sitting there for about 30-40 mins while the waitress would make eye contact with us but wont ask us if everything is good. When she finally did ask us she seemed annoyed that we told her that half of the stuff we ordered didnt show up, and when putting our plate down, she basically tossed our plate on the table looking annoyed. No apologizing for the wait or anything. Keep in mind that the place wasn't that packed and the people that came in after us got served all their stuff before we got ours.
Server was super attentive and friendly - they got us a table right away and even moved the booths around to accommodate our group size. Food was great as always!
The food was delicious. It was brought to us within 10 min with the first dish being just 2 min after we ordered it! Drinks were offered immediately. I loved everything that we ordered: sushi, rolls, tempura mushrooms, beef, chicken, spring rolls, gyoza, deep fried banana. One can chose to their liking: vegetarian or even Keto! The service was very nice! The waiters were very considerate and caring. Our glasses were refilled with water all the time. Overall the guys that were working there today were very pleasant, nice, accomodating. I am definitely going there again and bringing my friends!
Very delicious all you can eat sushi! Modern ordering from your table makes very fast service. Don't forget the mango ice cream to finish your meal! No gluten free soy sauce. Bring your own. No kids chop sticks. Bring your own rubber band or set.
There are so many negatives. Cheap on their sashimi combo. I paid over $20 for a "sashimi" combo, and I got 5 pieces of crab.likely imitation crab at that. Who the heck wants CRAB as sashimi? The 3 tiny pieces of salmon and tuna that I got were decent.but didn't make up for the salty crab that made up most of my sashimi.
TERRIBLE spring rolls. It's like the worst I've ever had terrible. I'm pretty sure they were forgotten and frozen in a bag at the very bottom of their freezer, and they threw them in my order even though I didn't order them, just to get rid of them. They literally contained mushy gunk inside, and the rolls tasted like greasy cardboard.
I didn't get my seaweed salad that I ordered.
I usually never order online for takeout, but this time, I did, and I actually meant to order from another place. My mistake for sure and one I will not be making again with this place. Very much wasted money. Cheap food, cheap quality. Just avoid this place.
It was ok. Great service. Not as much selection as I’m used to. But everything was good and fresh. Some things were out of stock. It’s all you can eat for $26
My wife and I had dinner here tonight for the first time. We both were impressed by this restaurant. Food was tasty, delicious. We highly recommend the stir fried udon, it is so much better than most of restaurant in Sudbury. Everything is clean, organized. Staff is super friendly, helpful. Our soft drink were refilled so many time during dinner. We also want to say thank you to the girl (Mary might be her name, someone called her by this name) helping us so much in using iPad to order, she was so patient to explain everything, and she kept eyes on us to make sure we get the food and see if we’re ok. Thank you all chefs for making good food. Last thing, I love the moon light so much, if possible please let me know where did you buy it. Absolutely coming back in the future.
Deep fried foods are fried waaaaay too long; anything made with batter is extremely hard. Pizza was way overcooked and the rice inside was basically mush: (not many options for soup and salads, either. Not even crab salad T. T - JT Sushi in North Bay is worth the trip for better food quality (2hr-round trip).
My best dining experience in Sudbury ever since covid. The food was awwwsome and the servers were soooo nice. Me and my friends really enjoy the night here
Had ayce lunch here, price is ok, same as other ayce sushi places, but the items that you can choose are way less than others, service is ok, if they can turn on the heat, maybe i would rate it 5 out of 5.
This place is amazing. The selection is what you would expect from a sushi restaurant with the addition of a few speciality rolls and some other dishes that is unique to this location. I go here probably twice a month. Service is extremely quick, food is fresh and price is the same as anywhere else. Only downside I'd say is since they reopened after the pandemic, the desert selection is limited.
It still seems a little like magic that I tap a few items on a tablet, and yummy food is dropped off at my table. Okinawa is clean, comfortable, classic sushi dining. The perfect place to meet friends.
I went there for lunch and was around $19. The food arrived quick, food tasted fine and for vegetarians they have a limited amount of vegetarian options. Will dine in for dinner next time to try out the dinner only items.
Absolutely worst sushi. Ordered the dragon roll platter, it was not dragon rolls. There’s better sushi at a grocery store. Platter was tiny, black avocado, tasted terrible, and just had huge chunks of cucumber? Just bad. Any of the other sushi restaurants is a far better choice.
It's super amazing food and I love the decor.the only thing is the accessibility could be better, especially the types of tables and entrance way doors.really tasty though
Delicious! Nicely decorated and cozy. Staff efficient and food was brought quickly. Seemed a bit pricey.but then it is all you can eat so make sure you are really hungry! Highly recommend
Great, fresh sushi. A little too much shrimp tempura in all of the Mackie, Nuri is soft and supple and Unagi very tasty. Ginger could be given with the dishes rather than asked for.
Thickest sashimi I've ever had the displeasure of putting in my mouth.worst miso I've ever tasted, sushi was warm and disturbingly thick as well. Gyoza was cold, the tempura was cold the only decent thing this place sells is the udon.do not waste your money here.
Very quick service. Excellent food. The cost was slightly more, but, the level of service was worth it. Ordering on a tablet allowed my group to keep track of anything coming out. Would definitely recommend this place. Children under 8 pay 11.99$
Ordered here with two other people who don't eat sushi. Picked it up and brought it home. Food was great and all three of us enjoyed everything we ordered and the Sushi was amazing. Will definitely be trying this restaurant in person, though I am glad i didn't that night.there was a line up waiting to be seated when i picked up my order.
Went to Okinawa with friends, had a little difficulty figuring out the tablet when we asked the waiter they seemed a little annoyed, when food arrived it was tossed on the table rather than placed, we were hardly checked in on, and we decided to wait a few minutes before ordering another round when the waitress came up to us and said “If your not gonna order more food you can pay at the front. ” Never going back there, didn’t even get half the things we ordered.
Reading past reviews I was nervous to eat here again. We've eaten here a few times before and it's either been great or very disappointing. Since the reno the place is amazing. The booths are very nice and the iPads fix most of the issues we had when going here before. The menu has changed again but for the better! Everything we ordered was great and the quality of the food was fantastic. My only complaint would be the wasabi is cheap (fake) and very grainy. But since most ppl don't care about that, still an awesome place to eat.
Would of given it a 5 because the food was great, it was hot and came quickly. However the service was awful, getting a staff member to come over and just send the order off the iPad took a very long time. Also certain desserts (very small portion of cheesecake) were extra - $1.99.
Visited on today for Mother's Day for the first time in several months and my daughter and I were very pleased with the food. Our favorite sushi restaurant recently closed and we have been quite dismayed as we have enjoyed going there a couple times a month for the past few years. We were delighted today however to find that the quality of food at Okinawa now surpasses that of our former regular restaurant. It looks like we have a new sushi hangout. Yay!
The salmon and shrimp sushi were very nice, and the tempura shrimp were great. The taro chips were absolutely addictive (we had three servings), and the wonton soup was the nicest that I have ever eaten. The wontons were so flavorful! Bravo Okinawa! We will be seeing you again soon.
Great spot for sushi, their vegetarian selection is quite vast, and tasty. But they tend to bring some items quite late into the meal. When I got my sweet potato rolls, I got got my green tea ice cream at almost the same time.
It used to be a 5/5. But it's really gone down hill. Cost me and my daughter 45 to eat here without drinks. They charged her as an adult she's 6 for Gods sakes.
I went on a Saturday morning. They were supposed to be open at 11: 00. The person to open up didn't get there until 11: 10 AM. I was just asked if I had waited long - no apology. I ordered mine items off the all you can eat menu. I was there for an hour and a half and I didn't get everything that I ordered. I left after an hour and a half. Service was bad and slow. I didn't tip. I have been there before but it wasn't this bad. I will never go back there again. ZERO STARS!
The food was good but the photos do not match the actual food you will get, imagine everything much much smaller. Ordered a creme brulee cheesecake for $2.50 extra on top of my $30 buffet and it was a one bite dessert.
So we view all you can eat as a challenge and we lose everytime here. There are so many options and we haven't tried one that we don't like. Someone who claims to not like "sushi" because it's "too fishy" could even find a few things they'd like. Lunch has less options than supper, but the price reflects that. Once every few months we do date night here and are always over satisfied (eat way too much). Great choice!
This is a must try sushi restaurant. I have gone to this restaurant frequently for my sushi fix. Its menu items are made with quality fresh ingredients and tastes as good as they look! This is a very popular location with almost every table packed. Oddly enough though I have never had to wait very long. They have their Liquor license with a decent selection, I always recommend having an import with sushi, Sapporo for example, a beer made for this kind of food. Go to Okinawa and enjoy.
