Old Nassau Authentic Bahamian Cuisine

Food here is truly top tier! Shoutout to my fellow Caribbean doing big things. Only comment is the food is quite salty but overall very delicious. Peas and rice is truly everything.

This was my first time here. We picked up two items for lunch. Both items after tax and tip, turned out to be only $19 which was great.

1. The conch fritters
2. The rice, peas, fried chicken and coleslaw combo.

Both items were delicious! Even the coleslaw had a nice little spice kick to it which was a surprise. I loved it.

The conch fritters were HUGE! Although only 5 in the box, that was a lot. Subtle flavour and the dipping sauce was good.

It is totally a mom and pop type of establishment so please tip! Even if you are only pickup up like I was.

My only suggestion to the staff, the wait was a bit too long. I waited for 20min for my order. Should be a wee bit quicker. But next time, I am going to call and order ahead.

Definitely need to try the food here if it's your first time or repeat visits.

The chicken burger and the sauce was amazing! Everything was fresh and delicious! First time trying skyjuice and I am hooked! Thank you Kaylandra and staff!

Absolutely banging job of representing Bahamian cuisine! Very familiar down home feel. Peas Soup always hits and the Crab N Dough is a hidden gem!

I just got back home from Old Nassau. Like my mom said " this food was made with Love" absolutely delicious and the service was very friendly. The atmosphere.well I started to low key dance in the place Thank you.

We ordered the shrimp and barbecue chicken dinners with potato salad, coleslaw, rice and peas, plantains and macaroni. Every single thing was fantastic and is a very good portion of food for the value. I will 100% be back to try more of the menu, I want to go in hungry for the seafood monster ASAP. Her food is authentic and made with love. Can’t ask for anything better than that.

Some of the best Bahamian food I've had. Better than some spots under Potters Cay dock or Fish Fry. The conch was really tender and seasoned. Peas and rice was good also. Macaroni was ok and the wait was about 30mins during Saturday afternoon but everything else made up for it. 10/10. Hope they open up more locations across the GTA, Mississauga, Oakville, Hamilton etc

My colleague and I enjoyed a fabulous lunch. The fried snapper and chicken sandwich were incredible.

I went into old Nassau and I wanted to try everything on the menu so I got the seafood monster and the peas soup and it was amazing. The food was season to perfection and the service was great 5 stars for everything.

The food was well seasoned and extremely delicious. I can't wait until my next order.

I tried their food for the first time today out of curiosity, and it was a very pleasant surprise. I didn't know what I was missing out on all the times I passed the restaurant to buy food elsewhere. Now I can add this restaurant to one of my go-to places to get delicious food.

The food is a hit or miss. When they started the food was absolutely delicious but now everything taste like they’re losing interest in cooking. I had the soup today and it was extremely salty to the point that I couldn’t eat it. The conch fritters has no conch inside and the max pic is usually crispy on the outside as if it was from the day before.

I enjoyed the Shrimp dinner w/plantains. The mac and cheese was okay, only due to the top being hard as if it was not freshly made. Service was delightful and restaurant was clean and well maintained. I didn’t see any public restrooms however, there’s seating available for dine in. 1 star taken away for not being open at 2pm more like 2: 08-2: 15pm and for the mac and cheese. Would definitely recommend and be back to try other authentic eats!

I think i’ve gotten food from here 4 or 5 times so far, i always get the same thing (fried shrimp dinner) and it literally never disappoints.clean atmosphere and good food.and sidenote, i’m jamaican, so i’m real particular about eating outside food, but this is a must try for sure.

Customer service was great the food even better and it’s pretty affordable too. Like the snack menu comes with fries, the dinner menu comes with rice! If you love seafood and the Caribbean you gotta check it out!

There food is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. It is well worth the price. It never disappoints. There mac and cheese is absolutely delicious. Aswell as there fried shrimp.

Visited for the first time last night! To say the food was incredible would be an understatement, and the staff make you feel like a regular on your first visit! Ten out of five stars!

I went to Old Nassau twice on my bday for the first time. I had the tuna & grits and the chicken souse for breakfast. Both were absolutely delicious! It was so good, I went back for dinner. I had the chicken dinner that came with rice and I got potato salad and plantain. Again, delicious! Also had the guava duff and switcha. I highly recommend this spot for good old down home food. 5-stars!

The food was delicious. The drinks was refreshing. The staff and service was awesome. It was a great way to end my night.

By far one of the BEST food spot in Toronto. Everything on the menu taste amazing. I’ve never gotten a bad order! My son and I love to eat there, we can never make it home with the food lol. As soon as it’s done, it best to sit, and eat it at the restaurant. The team there as well, are all so polite, the owner herself lovely lady. If i could I would eat from here everyday!

I changed my previous 5 to now a 1. This place can close now, I’ve spent lots of money here several times but the last 3 times have done it for me. Plus the unnecessary attitude that the brown girl gives (cashier).

Husband had been meaning to try this place out, and we finally decided to go for it. This is a family owned business and they were extremely friendly. The food’s amazing, that we actually prefer this than jamaican ones (tho I’ve only tried 2 Jamaican restaurants before). Serving sizes were really huge that we shared each other’s food. It’s delicious and I could say, it didn’t have any boring taste. Definitely worth recommending this one

My friend told me about this place.first thing my husband and I noticed was the calmness if the hostess.very friendly lady.the food is amazing.my favorite is the crack conch.everything is just so tasty. I definately recommend old Nassau Bahamian restaurant.

The restaurant is clean with adeqate sitting for dining in. My first time to the restaurant. I ordered the seafood blow out dinner, which was delicious. You get a very large portion of fried lobster tail with the shell on, large Shrimps, fried conch, fried rice and your choice of two side dishes. You get your moneys worth. The sea food blow out can feed two very hungry adults.

I have tried this food before and it was good now its just awful. It had no flavor at all and was not cooked properly. Idk if this restaurant is comfortable but the quality is declining. I will never come here again after wasting my $42.

Good lord that conch meal is delicious. Decent portions. Such friendly staff. Glad this place exists.

I was so excited to try this place out. The reason for the 2 stars are ; The food took really long to come out secondly the food was very salty we couldn’t even finish 50 percent of it.

This place is lit! My wife and I ordered take away from here tonight and LOVED it. From the main dishes to desserts we will be back for more. The staff is incredibly friendly as well.

We've been here a couple of times and everything we've tried so far has been delicious! The conch fritters, shrimp & snapper have been so so good! The sides are fantastic too. The service is great too, everyone's very friendly. We'll definitely be coming back every time we crave seafood!

My wife and I saw a lady's Tiktok page that absolutely loved this place and we agree, the food is fresh and hot and delicious. The owner came out to chat with us too. It's a great little place. My only recommendation is to get another couple of small tables and chairs for eating inside because there isn't enough seating.

If you want an amazing and authentic Bahamian meal, be sure to visit Old Nassau. The staff are friendly, & most importantly the food is to die for.

Theeeee best Caribbean/ Bahamian spot in Toronto…. Everything tasted so good and they give you a lot of food. I would highly recommend you get the crack conch and shrimp combo. And if you want something sweet get the dessert called guava duff -AMAZING I’ll take pictures the next time I stop by

Food and service was flavorful. Only thing was there wasn't enough conch in the fritters but still the fritters tasted great!

Loved the Mac & Cheese and coleslaw from Old Nassau.

Definitely going back to try their steamed fish.
