Great location parking is extremely close and not too far from other parking areas.
I've been there also just before the Covid situation started. I was there then with a party of 14 people, and they were able to accommodate us all fantastically. Take in mind that reservations of a group so large should be booked. I even booked for this present time as this is a very popular establishment. Thankyou OVFH for the great service you gave ti us both times

Canada Day on the makeshift patio, service was still amazing and the food even better. Have never once been disappointed with anything from here. Whole heartedly recommended to anyone.

It was busy and loud, but that was exactly as expected for an energetic pub on a Friday night in downtown Newmarket. The food was good and there was lots to choose from (try the poppers). Prices are relative to the experience and location.

Everything is very mediocre about this place. I had chicken wings here that were so juicy and tender. Would definitely try them again. I think their space could be maintained a bit better and kept more cleaner.

Surprising really good! The deconstruct pot pie was delicious and chicken Cesar was fresh, evenly dressed and freshly cooked chicken. YUM

Every breakfast place should strive to emulate the affordable quality breakfast and atmosphere this gem offers.

We had incredibly strong service from Danielle. We really appreciated the thoughtful suggestions and timely stops to the table. Our coffees were always hot and the food was served quickly and still steaming hot.

Went here for our one year anniversary and had a blast, service was amazing, vibe was amazing, everything we needed for a cute date night and amazing drinks/appetizers thank you for your hospitality

Headed her Saturday night for live music and some drinks. Really fun environment, and the band that night was quite good as well. Small dancing area and lots of overcrowding, so it took some fun out for us since we were consistently getting bumped and pushed every minute. I would go back if we had a table we could mingle around and get some space to move. Overall, it is a fun place to have drinks and listen to live music.

The food was delicious and the drinks were local which is something I love. I will be back and hope to try something new each time! I recommend the bruschetta!

This is the most happening bar in York region. There is always something going on. The energy is great the people are fun and the food is great.

Al is the consummate host, and an icon in the community.

We ordered French Onion Soup and Veggie Pizza both were okay okay.

We were there for lunch after a wine tour at the Holland Marsh wineries. Hubby and I shared a flat bread and it didn't seem cooked enough. Bottom was super soggy. Our friends had the beef dip and weren't overly impressed. The bathroom was quite dirty, but the service was excellent. Our server was very attentive and friendly. Wouldn't go back.

Where to start? Dirty coffee mugs, raw eggs, the staff making fun of the diners outside. Needless to say, we will not be returning. The waiter was nice and didn’t charge us at all. I appreciated that.

Was there last week after a funeral. The place is amazing the staff super friendly. I had the lamb and l will go back again for sure.

Food quality and service is excellent. Beer selection is generic, not a lot of european selections. But overall good atmosphere! Will def recommend it if you are in the area.

Olde Village Free House is a fun place with lively bands, good beer and nice staff. It also has easy parking behind the pub or on Main.

I came here with a group of friends on Saint Patrick's Day and I ordered the Veggie Burger and a pint of Molson Canadian with the green dye. The food and service was exceptional and it was a very great experience.
