Our server was charming, actually, that was the best part of the experience.
Otherwise unmemorable.

Won a gift card in a work draw and decided to stop by on Thursday with a buddy for a steak. At first I was disappointed the steak was not available. Our lovely waitress (tall with red highlights) recommended trying the hummus and salmon instead. The hummus was incredible, very happy with the recommendation. In a happy twist, the kitchen received their delivery while we waited for our mains and our waitress rushed to the table to ask if I want to change back to the steak frites. I got my steak and it really hit the spot! Great experience and amazing service

It has an up market feel but the food does not live up to that. The ingredients were all fresh but the food lacked flavor.

Came here with a colleague after work on a Wed eve and had a lovely experience // our waiter was not only eZ on the, but he was very polite, kind, and attentive. Our food came out within 20m of ordering and everything was delicious

The is is a staple for downtowners, quite frankly, any O&B restaurant is amazing! I had my baby shower here in the summer (outside patio amazing) and recently returned this past weekend with my son who loved the pizza and attention. We had an early dinner but felt energetic vibes from the place. They had a high chair for us and while not a separate kids menu, I got my son pizza and gave him some of my pasta which he loved. My mom had the salmon which she said was delicious along with a mock tail - the rosemary/blueberry one! All in all, can’t go wrong here, delicious food, great service.

I came here for my birthday to have a nice meal. It was pretty disappointing. Our appetizer (empanadas) arrived before our drinks. It didn't have much flavor. I ordered the bolognese. It was not good. It tasted like ketchup mixed with rose. I could have made better at home. I complained and they offered to bring me another dish. I didn't want anything else since everything I already tasted was not good and I was starving. I asked if the food was always this bad or was it a covid thing and they said it had actuality gotten better. Like the staff was aware the food was bad. I was just shocked since I expected O&B to be a good brand. It was really disappointing. The staff were very nice and they comped our drink's, so I didn't want to leave a bad review but it was just so terrible and disappointing that I wouldn't want anyonelse coming here for a special occasion

First time with great service (Brody) and tasty food. The manager Abhishek stopped by and said hi and was very friendly. Will definitely be back.

Wonder experience! The service was excellent, our server (I am not the best with names) was great! I ordered oysters and margarita pizza- Everything was delicious.

Staff can really make or break a restaurant experience. Our waiter was extremely pleasant and helped make our dinner a success. The food was also good. I especially enjoyed my salmon bowl. We started with the very reasonably priced oysters. Only $1 each with a bottle of nice wine.

Service was stellar.food was okay. My first experience and I was a bit underwhelmed. I will definitely go back for the right occasion.

Good food, pasta was too soft, tho. Should be el dente. These are experienced chefs, they should know this. And they ran out of the New Zealand sauvignon blanc. Seriously? !

Excellent spot to grab lunch in the downtown core. Pleasant service and good selection of wine and lunch dishes. Mushroom soup is a very good starter.

I had Thai food at an Italian restaurant: (Very few items were Italian inspired which was disappointing. The food itself tasted satisfactory, and the ambiance was nice. The staff were friendly.

Absolutely loved our meal. First time seeing our team members. Service was great. Food was great. Drinks were great.

Very easy going restaurant with solid fare, comfortable ambience, and welcoming service. We went there for a Girlfriends bday/reunion that lasted hours grazing over cocktails and wine at Happy Hour to buckashuck oysters to bottles of wine to sampling half the appetizers! Our server was prompt, friendly and provided attentive but not intrusive service - seems like they really enjoyed us being there and serving us. Cocktails were lovely, Oysters were fresh, spring rolls and fries so light and crispy, mushroom empanadas were flavorful, and we ordered more of the chimirurri sauce to put on pretty much over everything! Time flew and it was a great night - we planned to go establishment hopping but it was so comfortable at the O&B Cafe Grill we decided to stay put and finish our night there. Thanks O&B CG for a wonderful and so needed night out!

Great patio, food was excellent as well. Only giving 4 stars because the service was a little uncoordinated, forgot to bring some drinks and even though we made a reservation we were asked to leave early to make room. Would probably change to 5 star if I went again

Appetizer and the main course were good. Has individual washrooms. The dessert was so tough it was difficult to eat.

Amazing restaurant. The food and the cocktails are good and fresh. A little pricey, but it is definitely worth it. The presentation of the food is also on point. [don’t pay attention to the steak frites on the picture. We started eating before taking this picture]

Buck a shuck was a blessing for my first dine in of 2021. Welcome back and excellent execution on all the dishes I had. Steak tartare, empanadas, wings all *chef's kiss*.

Good service, good food. Meets expectations! Tried the empanadas for starter (amazing flavor combination). For main: steak frites and the fish dish (sole). Their non alcoholic raspberry mojito is great for non drinkers. Make sure to book ahead to get a better table location.

Service started well the our server checked out somewhere after dessert. Food definitely not worth the price. Cod dish could have used a lot more creativity. Smelled fishy on delivery. My steak frites was less disappointing. But why order something you can get everywhere else.

Outdoor patio was warmed by heaters which adequately dealt with the cold, though having said that, winter hasn't really set in yet. Food was very nice, and service was friendly and efficient. Fish and chips was quite nicely done. Fish pie looked quite good too. No complaints overall. Some of the starters might be a bit pricely, for example you get two empanadas for $13, which is a bit on the high side (though they were large). Wouldn't mind returning.

Staff and food were amazing. They were awesome about the ever changing Covid protocols as well.

Pretty sure the cheese on my burger was kraft singles.looked and tasted like it at least. Ingredients seemed low quality, expect more for the price.

Elegant place with very attentive, helpful staff. We were given a lot of time to wait for our guests with no pressure. Very good food indeed!

What a place! Wow! The food was the best I've tasted in my two months in Canada. The service was excellent! They did say that the mac n cheese and fish and chips were probably the best on the menu. But damn. This was good!

Lamb burger was a bit too salty and meat tasted more gamey than I normally like. But otherwise food here is typically outstanding.

Our waitress was wonderful and the food was great - especially the mushroom soup. Very nice ambience and the manager was gracious and friendly. Just go.

The food was very good and had a good choice of more healthy options to eat. They were able to accommodate a large party of 20 very easily and they still left it to me to decide on the amount of the gratuity.

Great place to dine. The menu offers a great variety of choices for meat lovers, vegetarians, and vegans. The service is attentive, and quick. Prices are very reasonable for high quality food. I would highly recommend this restaurant, and would not hesitate to return.

I have been here a number of times. Different days different times. This review is just about tonight. A week night. Bar area not the restaurant. Service good as usual. Snacks to share with drinks were as expected and came promptly. But I wonder if all patrons on a Wednesday night really love the DJ and loud music. It was an irritant more than anything. Ditch the music or make it more appropriate to speak over.

We came here for a business lunch and it was very good. Service was excellent I had the cod which surprisingly was a bit spicy, but very good. Overall the prices were reasonable for the service and food quality. I will definitely eat here again

Amazing food, but ultra-premium pricing. If a $30 lunch (with water) is in your budget, their dishes are great.

Great brunch experience. Amazing avocado toast (not the one you get in all places!), and the cheesecake with Dulce de leche was the best thing ever!

The table Server without expressing any warning handed over a hot plate to my wife burning her fingers. I did not want their compensation paying my wifes plate bill, I paid all and that's the last time they will see me there.

My pork belly dish was served lukewarm (as was my friend's mac and cheese dish). When I asked if it could be heated up the server indicated that it was supposed to be served like that. They brought me a fresh serving of the same item and again it was lukewarm.but moreso. All I wanted was for my dish to be reheated in a microwave and they couldn't get that right. Also the sauce on the second serving was overpowering.
I am a cook and dishes are served hot or at room temperature. Pretty basic.

Safe. Good food, nice staff. It's not going to knock your socks off but you wont be disappointed either. I bring clients here for lunch often.

For a decent place, the most dirty washrooms we have ever seen, which really put us off. Not cleaned for how long, trash all over the floor and no soap. Food was average decent and so was service which is why we gave it 3 starts. Piri piri chicken was awfully bland and boring. Couldn't eat it. Crab cake was decent

The owner of this restaurant is a bully he was rude and derogatory towards my daughter when she worked there she was going to university at the time and she told the owner up front that she would need time off for exams and when she was writing her exams they scheduled her for shifts that would not give her time to study so he told her work the shift or she was fired. She ended up quitting.
He is also very rude and bullies staff

Nice place for dinner but my osso buco was not the best. Tasted like it was left over from the day before. Everything else was fine.

The food was good but unfortunately the service was not at all. We were having a team dinner but felt rushed by the staff at this location.

One of my colleagues felt the pressure when she was trying to figure out what she wants but the server threw out a comment saying he has to stop until she decides on what she wants.

When we settled our bills, the staff was rushing us out the door and told us that we need to leave in 10 minutes for another large table. We only sat down for an hour and a bit.

Will definitely not come back here!

Here for a group lunch, fixed menu, had the soup of the day, the chicken breast with fries (that I did not need) and the creme brule. Good service, all was prepared well and ambience in our private event room was nice. Definitely will be back in to try the regular menu.

Great location, easy access, food was great and excellent service; also it is easy to hear each other's conversation; I enjoy eating there.

Saturday brunch was fab. Every O&B restaurant delivers excellent service and delicious food, each and every time.

Lovely atmosphere inside. There's a lounge and dining area for whatever mood you're in.
The food was really good and the staff was very conscious of an onion allergy. It also arrived really quickly at the table, which was nice.
Took a little while to get the final bill, but we took forever to actually order food, so they may have given us extra time there (it was also not busy by the time we left).
The two servers we interacted with were both very friendly and knowledgable.

Good food. The best roast beef I have had in a long time. The Mushroom soup was amazing. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere.
