Gary the owner is an amazing owner and very accommodating. Had a very rewarding experience at this location. Highly recommend for any future swimmers.

It’s crazy to see the owner taking negative reviews so badly by responding “shame on you” as if people aren’t allowed to leave negative comments. I went to the swimming school stood there for 20 minutes watching my friend’s kid take their lessons. I can tell you the reviews below are true that some instructors did not even pay attention to the kids. One just dragged the kid out to swim on her own while yawning, looking around, and watching the clock. Didn’t give any instruction at all to the kid either. It was terrible. Some instructors on the other hand are great, paying attention to the kid and teaching. So instead of shaming the reviewer, maybe the owner should investigate and speak to the instructor involved. The owner’s response sounds like a response from a teenager - lack of professionalism and EQ

The washrooms are very gross. There is little to no bench space and very little change rooms.

Kids like it here. Good instructors and separate pools for different levels of advancement. Parking lot isn’t the greatest but usually spots available.

Friendly staff. Open concept. Lots of area for outdoor shoes and racks to hang coats. Three hairdryers. Two tables with chairs if needed. Excellent viewing area alongside the three pools or in the cooler viewing area behind the full-wall glass. Pool area is kept warm for the swimmers. Comfortable warm water in the pools. There is an endless pool also. Two open showers in the pool area to rinse off. Family (mixed) and separate change rooms. Festive lights and giant inflatibles.

My son says the men’s change room is extremely disgusting. I can see that just by the entryway.

By far, one of the best places in Markham for your kids to learn swimming. Special shout out to Sebastian, Arujan and Zoe for always going beyond and above our expectations. Keep up the excellent work.

My son has completed 23 classes. The first session was super good and things changed from the second session.

After few classes, there was a different coach. I thought its just for that one class and did not bother much. Then noticed every week there was a different coach. So in the second session, ended up with different coaches for most of the classes. I went thru the website to changed the timings to have a consistent coach for last few classes of second session and for third session. However, the same thing is happening again.

From my perspective, I feel it will be difficult for new learners to have different coaches. Very disappointed with this and all please be aware of it. SAME COACH IS NOT GUARANTEED. I feel like wasted money and time and WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.

The employees do not enforce no shoes inside the pool and shower rooms policy. They rely on parents to talk to the irresponsible parents to address the issue which cause lots of unnecessary conflicts. The pool and shower rooms are very dirty as a result. Some Coaches sometimes start classes late but finish on time. Broken shower heads took a long time to fix. The cleaning lady cleans the shower room while it is still in use and splashes dirty water on the kids who are still using the shower room.

We love it. They are always making upgrades. They just built another pool which we hope makes getting spots easier, now they have 3 pools in the same location, all different sizes depending on level. They also just opened their endless pool to swimmers free of charge to practice their strokes. Great!
Staff are very friendly, instructors are very good.
I highly recommend it.

The programming at Olympian School of Swimming is exceptionally well-designed and well-run. From the "Learn to Swim" level to the competitive stream, there is something for everyone who is interested in high quality aquatics training. The staff are exceptionally competent and capable, offering swimming lessons in a fun and supportive environment. The owner and his team are always looking at new ways to improve their programs which is beneficial to both their Swim Coaches and the students. After almost 7 years of swimming at this school in different locations, both of my kids still look forward to their lessons with enthusiasm which speaks volumes to the coaches and the management/training teams.

I would like to take few minutes out of my day today to appreciate the help that I have received from two amazing coaches here at bullock. I took almost all my lessons this time with Danny and he has been fantastic. He observes great and suggests better. Makes the environment friendly and encourages us to do better. Danny, Good job buddy!

Another coach, worth mentioning, Richard, Whom I met only one time but he even improved my front strokes and made me a better swimmer. I really appreciate his work. He observes all details and could pin point what is wrong in my swimming style and kudos to him for that too.

All in all, other coaches who took their time to teach us life saving skill, deserves a thumbs up too.

Thanks Olympian Swimming!

Olympian Swimming is such an awesome place. When I go there on Fridays, Lifeguard Arujan always puts on a smile which truly makes my mood a lot more cheerful! I see that he is always helping swimmers, so his "care" is definitely evident. He consistently watches over the pools which adds to the level of "safety. " The location likes to put on Virgin Radio, and in my opinion, is a good selection. Many swimmers from what I can see really like the place, which gives me the knowledge that this place is a good place to learn the important life and lifesaving skill - swimming.

My daughter was doing her Bronze Medallion at another facility and was working so hard but still had to shave over a minute off her 500m swim to pass physical. It must have felt impossible but I knew she could do it. I could tell her conditioning was there but what about improving her form?

I visited and the girl working the front desk was so helpful spending time to help me understand some of the options available there.

Took my daughter to Olympic School of Swimming's Endless Pool for a 30 minute Swim Stroke Lab Session and saw an immediate improvement. Instructor Azizah was absolutely fantastic!

The same evening after the Lab Session, my daughter passed her Bronze Medallion physical and shaved nearly 2 minutes off her 500m time - nearly 2 minutes in one day!

Went back for followup and Tristan worked with her to refine and even taught her to flip turn in one session.

Another follow up and back with Azizah for more tuning and teaching a nice dolphin kick off the wall - practically doubling her underwater glide distance with less effort.

Thank you so much! Awesome place and awesome staff!
